In the morning, one of the triplets, clad in white from head to foot, came to our cabin letting us know that the food was ready. Suhail, who had been making the rounds around the wounded, told me to help the Wizard.
"What happened to you?" I asked him, passing his arm over my shoulder and acting as his crutch.
"We were attacked by the Evil One and his forces when we were withdrawing from the castle."
"The Evil One?" I asked incredulously as we neared the hut that served as dining hall. Everyone else was already seated at the table, looking forward to having a plate of Salazar's stew.
"Gentlemen, come in, come in and have a seat. I made my special stew," said Salazar, smiling.
"It smells delicious," remarked Rupiel.
I helped the Wizard to his seat and then sat next to Suhail. She was pulling her hair up in a messy bun, looking as beautiful as ever. When she noticed me staring, a lovely blush covered her cheeks.
