Tears and Dreams

The match's starts, the team has a tight score at 2-2 all, of course the last fight is what they have been waiting for, it was Yuuki and Tatsuki's match.

"It's like they really planned on the alignment of members." It was Nanami

"Yuuki-chan…" It was Aoi who was worried

"Don't worry Aoi-senpai, Yuuki-chan will be fine! She will handle it, right?" It was Risa who tried to cheer for her senpais and turned to Yuuki and she gave a faint smile as an answer.

The match started and it was a tight match, Yuuki lost the first game, but was able to keep up in the second game. Before the third game start Yuuki walks to Tatsuki and she look up and as the girl in front of her

"Hmm.. What do you need?"

"Say…" she paused, then she looked straight into her eyes "How's father?" complete silence covers them it's about a minute before Tatsuki replied

"He's in the hospital, he was sick"

"What is his sickness?"

"He need has a severe complication on his liver"

"I see… Does he… look for me?" there is a hope in her voice, and Tatsuki just can't stand the way she looks straight into her eyes, she could feel the pain, suffering and loneliness and turn her look away. She took a deep breath and answered honestly.

"Yes, he did. He's always asking where you are; but you are already in America, he wants to ask for forgiveness before his body gives up…"

"What do you mean?"

"His cancer is at the last stage and there's no more cure… he only has a few months more to live"

Yuuki is in complete silence, then she nodded before she utter a word she wipes a tear that was about to fall from her eyes

"After this match…" Tatsuki look up at her, waiting for the next thing she said is,

"Whoever will win between the two of us… I would like you to bring me to what hospital he is in, I'd like to see father." And she started to walk on her side and stop and said a follow up line

"Let's play with our heart, don't let the past ruin our game, I like to enjoy this match with you not as rivals, but as sisters" she said with a smile on her face that lit up her aura. Tatsuki, who was about to serve, had just processed the words her sister said. It's like the burden in her chest lightens, there's no bitterness anymore, it's like the guilt that she's been feeling all those years were all gone after seeing her half sister smile and hearing her words. It's like they are all forgiven now, she took a deep breath, and for unknown reasons she just can't stop smiling.

"I won't lose on you, Yuuki, I am going to give my best!" Tatsuki said so lively and she look so fired up, Yuuki on the other side also smile, it's like the things that have been bothering her was gone

"I think it is alright to forgive and forget already mother, I hope that you agree with me. I want to free myself from suffering and pain Mom, I don't want to feel this burden anymore, I hope that you are happy with my decision" she said in her mind, a form of her mother's image smiling to her means like she was happy and is agreeing with her daughters decision

"Game and Match!" The umpire called, it was a long, wonderful match, everyone on both teams were all smiling. They became all friends after all. Especially the newly reunited sisters

"You did well, it was a great match"

The match ended with the score of 5-7, allowing Seigaku to qualify for the next match which is the Finals. They all shook hands with the team, since the finals were a way far away, they decided to celebrate.

"Yuuki-chan, are you coming with us?" it was Risa who ask her

"I'll catch up later, I am going to visit my father first" she said

"Okay, see you later!" she wave on her, as Yuuki walk with Tatsuki

"It's like they do well…" Risa was surprise to the person who speak

"Oshitari!? W-what are you doing here?"

"I just drop by, the male club won also against Shitenhouji, Atobe called for meeting and I think I just went on a wrong direction, then I spotted the venue of your match, and heard that your team won, congratulations" he said smiling as he gives his hand to her

"Thank you" is he really lost or he did it on purpose? It was the question on her head while accepting his hand shake, long enough before they knew it they were just staring blankly at each other, it when

"ehem!" they are both surprised, it was Riku, then after realizing that Riku is looking at their hand shake, they just let go of holding each other's hand

"I didn't know that you know my sister Oshitari of Hyotei"

"We just bump accidentally and happened to be acquainted" he replied and then he turned to Risa "Well, I guess I have to go" and wave back to the girls

At the hospital

"This is the room…"

"Okay… " as she opens the door Yuuki clenched her fist, nervous, afraid of all mixed emotions…

"Hi papa, good afternoon…" Tatsuki greets

"Oh, sweetie, I thought you had a match today? How is it?"

"I see, but did you win your match?"

"No… She's my mother…" Yuuki answered in a firm tone, she looks as emotionless as she looks to my father… is it right to bring her here? I asked myself

"Oh… I'm sorry… you really look like your mother… You've grown up a lot… Yuuki…" I can see tears starting to fall from my father's eyes his hand that I was holding are cold and trembling

"I- I am …. I am so sorry for my child… I've heard what happened and it's my fault… sorry for everything…" my father said as he wipes his tears away, I feel like I want to cry too

"I know it's your fault…" she said still no emotion

"Yuuki!" I called out on her but my father stops me

"Let her Tatsuki… I know that someday this will happen, let it be as a punishment to me… What I did is something unforgivable that ruined her life…"

"Yeah… You really did" why can she talk like he's not her father? Maybe that's how wounded she is

"But that happened a long time ago… and as you can see, I am much better than your situation right now" she paused. "I just want to see you before it's too late… Father…"

My father looks at her as if he is wondering, Yuuki is still looking straight at him and she speaks again "I have forgiven you already father, so you don't have to make yourself suffer anymore… What happened in the past cannot be undone, we all must move forward and make things right for the future" she walks near us and she sits beside me, she holds my hand that is at the same time holding my father's hand "We can still be a family somehow right?" she asked, the thought makes me smile and without noticing tears already fall in my eyes, same as father

"Of course, we are a family" my father said and we all put ourselves in an embrace full of love, forgiveness and happiness

"Where are you?" he asked

"I am near at the station" she replied

"Can I see you?"

"Okay, let's meet at the park" and then she hang up

He was waiting there for about fifteen minutes when she arrived. They were both still wearing their respective uniforms

"My… My… I think I wanted to kiss you again but it is not the right time…" he said, still looking straight at her, "Princess, let's just go with the flow… I know we met in such an unfavorable manner, but this time I'll make it right." He brushes the hair covering her face and left a kiss on her forehead before letting her go

"I'll see you at the ball princess, don't mind the dress and everything, I'll take care of it" he said and wave back at her

She was left there stunned and her face was flushing, she never wanted this kind of feeling but then with this guy she just can't resist it… what will happen next? Will it be a problem?
