Prince Conrad's POV
After our whole day of patrolling and constant coordination with other Alphas from different neighboring packs, I got home dragging my feet inside our room. I am exhausted as hell. I need a warm bath and massage.
The moment the door opened, my gaze doted instantly to my wife. She's wearing a rose gold silk satin nightdress that flows down above her knee, revealing her bare arms, shoulders, and legs. It is one of the rare views since we've been together. She rarely wears this kind of clothes, revealing and sexy. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I felt my wolf excitedly wiggling his tail.
Before I could tear my gaze away from her, she already caught me staring at her. Her face instantly lit up, and she smiled at me. I just realized that she is sitting on the couch while reading a book. That's why she did not notice my presence immediately. "Hubby, you're home."
