Anja's Plan
The island was quiet as the sun peaked over the horizon and climbed slowly into the sky. A gentle breeze swept the salty ocean air over the creatures lurking on the ground. Among them was Ilona Black.
Anja had told Sam Thatch and Ilona her plan, but it was not yet complete. Before they could work out the finer details, they would need to observe the treacherous pirates and see how they behaved now that they believed they had the island to themselves.
Ilona had no doubt that Pierce Vane would strut about as if he were a King instead of the oily, evil wretch that he was. She was sure he would have the others bowing and scraping and hurrying off to complete any orders he gave them. They would all celebrate their ill-begotten victory, forced to sing Vane's praises while cheering the death of Mason and the others.
