Unpleasant mornings

After she spent so much time with Arthur she decides that he is quite interesting. All the things he told her about this place seem to give her a reason to want to actually be around here. He seems like someone who knows his way around here, he could really be a good friend to her. After all she needs the comfort and he is someone who has a comforting presence.

The next morning she finds herself on the floor of the bed assuming that she must have fallen over the edge while she was asleep, she forgets about the whole thing. Although she finds it strange it is not something that has ever happened to her.

Before she can even take another step she hears a knock on the door. She rushes to the door, to check it out and once she opens the door she is met with the smiles of the two helper girls they assigned them to. 'We are here to fix you up, get you ready for the day' they say. 'Come on then' she says leaving them way to get in.

Once the girls are inside they begin to help her get ready all the while as she sits on the chair. Waiting for them to be done.

Once they are finished they make her have a look at her reflection and she smiles , she has never really considered herself to be the beauty type of girl but slowly she sees herself getting there.

The girls leave a little while after and she is left to marvel at the way she looks. When she is satisfied with it, she makes her way out the door and right in front of her she finds herself standing face to face with an armed soldier. 'Good morning sir' she says to him.

'Good morning to you too, princess. I have sent been here to accompany you and make sure that you make it in time for breakfast' he says his posture and demeanor that of a soldier.

'After you' she says a smile on her face ,today the girl feels bubbly and happy . She doesn't know why or how it is that but all the feelings of being unsure and being scared that usually sit with her are not there today.

The guard opens the door and she finds everyone sitting by the table with their hands folded in front of them. She notices the seat next to her is empty. She also notices that Arthur is here sitting gracefully next one of the boys.

'I am sorry for keeping you waiting 'she announces to everyone gaining attention from everyone in the room. 'No worries, it is fine. We are waiting on Sebastien too. He is never really early so don't worry a single sweat in your body' the mother says with her usual lopsided kind smile.

The girl sits down making sure not to dirty her purple gown, placing her feet neatly next to each other.

She looks to Arthur and right when she does, everyone's attention is turned to the screaming man approaching the room. 'YOU BETTER NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO RIGHT NOW, I AM YOUR KING 'he shouts his voice so loud that it can be heard from outside.

The man enters the room and stops to look around for a while, that is after he comes rushing at Arthur. 'You bastard, how could you' he shouts. The king has to stand in between them, separating the two men from each other.

'What is your problem now?'

'You are my Problem Arthur' he says nearly making Savannah laugh at the fact that she said the said thing to her sister coincidentally.

'You fucked my wife, didn't you? I saw you' he says causing an uproar between everyone at the table. 'Now, Now Sebastien, let us be reasonable' the king says. 'I did no such thing' Arthur stands up and confesses. 'And even if I did, you wouldn't know it' he adds making Sebastian's face turn red at once.

'You worthless piece of shit!' he cries out coming for him.

The queen comes and stand in between too, stopping the man right in his tracks. 'I saw you , I heard you. Laughing and having a good time. Telling her things that you were not supposed to tell her.

'You are just overreacting like you always do, Sebastien. I might admit that I talked to her last night and that there was a lot of laughing but I cannot stand here and let you accuse me of something I didn't do. And wasn't it you who told me to get her off your back, to keep her far away from you could fuck her properly and now here you are preaching to me about all that'.

'Hey, you watch your tongue, I didn't say any of that' Sebastien spirals out of control. The whole scene is nothing but traumatizing to the girl that is why she runs out of the room and leaves.

Everything is all over the place and she feels like everyone is talking at the same time and it isn't something nice to be stuck in between and the fact that this whole thing is revolving around her is also quite unamusing.

She knew that today was too, much of a good day from her that something was going to come down crashing on her and it was going to hit her hard .

Now here she is sitting outside on the grass, at the same spot that she met Arthur at last night, she doesn't know why he is acting sow weird. Shouldn't he be worried about anything else and not getting mad at whatever he decided to assume on his own. Even if she did, like Arthur it was out of his hands, there was no way that she could ever like a man like him . Cruel vile and rude all at once , the plan was to find a good husband and he wasn't meeting any of her standards.
