Chapter 6: Meeting Arshan and Wendy

"Brother, thank you so much for today" I said and smiled.

I told Veronica to go back to the Imperial Palace without me.

I asked my brother to let our family's carriage send Veronica back to my mansion.

I still need to go to our household and take Wendy with me and also to find a capable coachman for me.

"Mama! I missed you so much" I said and hugged her tightly.

"My my, this child. We just met yesterday" she said.

"Boo~ I was the one with you but you never said sweet words to me! Boo!" My brother said pouting. Both my mother and I laugh.

"Young master you cal— y-y-y-young l-l-lady?!" A tall, dark skin, purple hair color and eyes man said.

I tried to remember him but I just couldn't. My brother noticed that I was having a hard time remembering this person in front of us.

"Sissy, this is Ashran Solaria. He's been working with us for over 7 years now" he said.

A sudden figure popped into my head.

"Ashran? W-wait you mean that little kid?!" I asked.

"I know right. He has become a very good looking man. As expected in our household, all of our workers are outstanding" my brother said proudly.

"Oh my goodness! It's an honor that young lady still remembers me" he said with teary eyes.

"So, what do you say Louisa? Is he capable of coming with you?"

"I can do multi task my lady. I can be your butler, knight, cook, farmer, messenger, and anything" he said

"Uhh, I'm looking for my own coachman, can you do that?" I asked.

"Of course my lady! You don't have to worry because I will stay by your side... and... w-wait, y-y-you want me to be your coachman?!"

"Yes" I said. He thought that I was joking around "Well it's okay if you don't want to" I added

"N-no! I'll serve you milady!" He shouted

"You are too loud, Arshan" my brother said.

I went inside our house and look for Wendy.

"Young lady, you're here!" Nanny said.

"It's nice too see you again Nanny. Brother and I went for a shopping. By the way, have you seen Wendy?" I asked her respectfully

"Hmm, I think I saw her in the kitchen" she said.

"Thank you nanny" I said and went to the kitchen.

I saw Wendy leaving the kitchen door so I called her name.

"Greetings my lady" she said.

She look at me and waited for me to say anything.

Uhh, she's emotionless. She's far from what I remember in Louisa's memory.

"Uhh... How are you?" I asked.

What an actual heck is that?! I cannot come up with anything to open a conversation with her

"This servant has been doing well" she said.

The surrounding went silent again.

"If my lady doesn't have any concern, this servant will now take her leave" she said and bowed.

Louisa met Wendy 14 years ago. Wendy was around 5 years old when Duke found her and took her in.

Louisa treated her more like her own little sister so both of them became close with each other.

But everything changed when Louisa married the Emperor. Louisa refused to take any servants from their household to the Imperial palace.

Louisa rarely visits the household so by then, Wendy became distant in Louisa as well as the people in their household.

The Duke and Duchess treat their servants equally, Wendy isn't an exemption.

"Wendy... I'm sorry, for leaving you" I said.

She looked at me flustered. My eyes felt blurry while looking at her. I'm eyes are teary!

I feel that I have accomplished something very valuable. Louisa's figure popped into my own eyes and I saw her smiling.

'Thank you' she mouthed and smiled.

Her figure then disappeared which made me go back to reality.

"Wendy, would you still want to come with me? Would you let older sister to compensate for the years I left you?" I asked.

"I'm not rushing you or anything. Just think about it, I'm not forcing you" I added when I realize that she won't answer.

"Did she agree?" My brother asked when I went back to where we are before.

"I don't know. I told her to think about it" I answered.

"Milady, when we are going to leave?" Arshan asked.

I saw baggages beside him. He already fixed his things within that amount of time?!

He's a multi-tasker indeed.

(At Louisa's mansion)

"Lady Louisa!! I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Elizabeth said while bowing her head.

It turns out that the renovation isn't done yet. My room is still in progress as well as the other rooms.

"It's fine" this is my 10th time saying this.

Well, It's not thag they can finish this within a day right? Even in modern day, it will take them days for this to be finish.

"It's my fault for being incompetence. Does my lady want us to help you move some of things in the Imperial palace?" She asked.

I don't have any shelter to sleep tonight so they insisted that I should stay in the Imperial palace.

Little did they know that I am banned from entering that stupid palace because of that stupid b*tch.

"Haha.. It's fine. We can build tent here" I said and smiled.

"My lady is very kind and simple" she said and wiped her tears. She cried? Really?

"Everyone! Build a tent for her ladyship"

"Milady! Where should I place your bed?" I look back and saw a newly build tent by Arshan

T-that fast?! And he's single handedly carry a bed!

"Just place it wherever you want" I said

"Okay milady. You can now rest inside!" He said

"Oh, okay. Thank you Sir Arshan" I said

"Arshan milady, A-R-S-H-A-N. No sirs" He said and I nodded

I went inside the tent and it freaking look like a fancy room. It's like I'm in an elegant hotel.

It's big but it only has one bed. Where does the other girls will sleep?

"Arshan, what about Lady Elizabeth?" I asked.

"Nothing to worry milady, I have already arranged a tent for the girls. Woman's safety is my priority but milady's is my priority" he said

I walked outside and saw a two teng beside me.

Woah, he really did this within short amount of time?

"Impressive. You are truly reliable Arshan" I told him and gave him a thumbs up

"Sir Arshan is very cool milady!" Ellena said with sparkling eyes. Both Lady Elizabeth and Veronica nodded their heads to what Ellena said.

I looked at Arshan and he was secretly impressing the girls. I can't reach his level of self confidence

"Arshan, what about helping those men in their job? With that strength, I believe that you would be a great help" I suggested.

"Ahhh~ Milady, I think my head is bit dizzy. Can I take my leave and rest?" He said while acting.

"Geez, why would I help a man?" He whispered.

At night, I dine along with Lady Elizabeth and my two maids.

I told Arshan to dine together with the workers.

The food taste better when you together.
