Future City: Tank?

As soon as CIpher turned the corner he could see why so many ambulances were needed. People in white medical outfits were scrambling to help people. Cipher could see people with minor injuries in one area, and in another close by was an area filled with the seriously injured. So many things were happening at once Cipher could hear the cry of those injured pleading for the pain to end. Through the crying, Cipher could hear screams in the distance coming from a glass building with the company name "New Life Laboratories" at the top in large letters. While Cipher was standing in a daze two robots carrying injured people bumped into him, "...Warning medical personnel passing...." The robots only paused for a moment before continuing towards their destination. Following behind the robot was a young man with a white medical suit that was coated in blood making the man look more like a butcher than medical personnel.

While walking towards Cipher the man yelled out to the other personnel nearby, "Hurry we need a stretcher over here, we found two more inside", then getting closer to Cipher he reached his hand out. Cipher took the man's hand and let him help him up, "Hey kid, looks like you may have gotten in the robot's way. You alright?" Taking a closer look at the man Cipher could tell he worked out, the suit looked like it was going to bust if the man flexed a muscle. Brushing himself off Cipher gave the name a nod, "Thanks, and yeah I'm fine. They totally plowed through me though." Looking at the young man his eyes were drawn towards the boy's two swords resting on his lower back. It was odd for anyone in Future City to have weapons, and even more odd that the weapons he had were swords. Looking at the boy again a thought crossed his mind.

The man recalled hearing on the news that the City had asked for a Knight of Light, but taking another look at the young man in front of him there was no way he was a Knight of Light. The boy had white hair and silver eyes, but he only looked sixteen maybe seventeen. Looking at the boy again the man sighed, "You wouldn't happen to be a Knight of Light would you". The man had looked Cipher up and down and then asked if he was a Knight of Light in a tone that sounded dishearted, Not letting the man's tone bother him Cipher replied, "Yes I am. My name is Cipher Starlight, and I'm a Knight of Light." Looking at the boy the man could tell he was a Knight of Light, the question was what was he. The man knew there were three types, Guardians, Scouts, and lastly Counters. Guardians were usually the most powerful or had some type of ability suited toward protecting, giving them the ability to protect an entire city from Nightmares. Then you have scouts, from what the man could remember scouts were fast and were built for speed. Their main job was reconnaissance, they were the group set out to assess areas and creatures providing pertinent information for the Knights of Lights Church. The last group was known as counters, there wasn't much known about them. The man remembered that they were said to be the most powerful force of the Knights of Light, and they were the group that was sent into unknown areas and had enough power to completely wipe the area out. They were also the group that fought against the demons, vampires, and other terrifying Nightmares from what he could remember.

Looking at Cipher again the man decided to just ask him, even if the young man was a scout he might be able to kill the Nightmare or know where to find a Knight of Light that could, "Well Cipher my name is Tim, but everyone calls me "Tank" I don't mean to sound rude, but what's your title in the Knights of Light." Without hesitation Cipher responded, "I am called a counter". Silence followed Ciphers remark, as Tank just cocked his head sideways and looked at Cipher. It wasn't until the screams of those still inside the New Life Laboratories building that Tank commented, "Really? I expected you to be a scout. Your pretty young huh?" Cipher was pretty young so he didn't fault Tank for his comment.

Cipher also didn't see being called a scout as an insult, from Ciphers' perspective scouts had it pretty rough. They were sent out into areas with little to no information, and they could end up walking into hoard or worse come face to face with a terror with little means to prepare themselves. Lift an eyebrow after hearing another scream Cipher decided it was time he found out what was going on, "I am sorry to cut our conversation short but, what is going on here?".

Tank having a momentary realizing his mistake gave himself a smack on the forehead before responding, "Yes, Yes, from what we are told there is a Nightmare lose in the building. They had been performing tests on it in hopes of finding a way to control or stop them. Guess they did figure it out because the thing is going on a bloody rampage. Nothing has stopped it, they tried explosive, live ammunition of every shape and size, even tried torching the damn thing, but nothing has stopped it. Actually from what we can tell the damn has actually gotten more powerful somehow. Well if you are a counter then you must be the Knight of Light the city was have been waiting on. That building there is the one you want to go in, but do becare from what I can tell the thing is able to decapitate people in a single hit."

Having his eye widen at the last bit of information Cipher took a deep breath, Heading towards the build Cipher gave Tank a wave and kept walking. Cipher was a little nervous he knew going to Future City he was going to be facing a B-Class Nightmare, but from what he was told it may be on the edge of becoming an A-Class Nightmare. {Cipher~ time to get to work, hey DEM any ideas on what we might be facing?} {DEM~ Nightmares have a multitude of different varieties and subclasses there is no way for me to provide you any information that would be reliable if anything the information I provide may put you at a disadvantage if you are expecting to be one type and instead it be another.}
