The Player? Surviving in Terraria as the only existence

Ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/jarron_seven Aeron was your average guy, he was going to college this year but found himself trapped in his house because of a certain pandemic, bored to death he decided to play Terraria once again as it was being finally updated. One day he went outside to buy some snacks in order to satiate his hunger. However, on his way back he suddenly found himself dead after being run over by a truck. While waiting for his soul to be judged he "accidentally" falls to the void. A place where nothing is allowed to exist. When his soul was close to being destroyed he is saved by the Goddess of Order, that sends him to the Terraria world and gives him the power of a Player and some extra bonuses. However, The god of chaos saw all this and decided to make things a bit harder for our protagonist. He changed Aeron's course to an alternative version of Terraria world. A world similar to the seed "For the worthy". Will he survive in this absolutely horrific world where everything can kill you in almost one hit? Probably not. **** [English isn't my first language, but I'll try to make things readable] [As you may know I don't own Terraria] [The cover was made by me :)] [I'll try not to drop this as I'm doing it because I have nothing else to do, and i saw that no one makes Terraria Fanfictions] [You know what? Don't trust me because I'm very lazy and could drop this at any moment] (Seven months without dropping until now 14-07-2021) [I'll try not to] [That's all] [PD: The world MC is sent is a bit different to the normal Terraria, as it will have humans, kingdoms, and all that.] [I'm out of boxes]

The hermes boots

---Chapter 51: The Hermes boots---

...

After making my resolve to stealing those boots, I took out the Mana crystal that I crafted yesterday right after obtaining the fallen stars and shattered it with my hand

Luckily, this one wasn't painful unlike the Life crystal. Instead, it was a mixture of feeling energetic all of a sudden, and feeling an empty space in my body that I didn't notice before get suddenly filled with mana.

Once I got accustomed to this new feeling, I looked back at my status to make sure that the Mana crystal worked properly and nothing went wrong during the process.

Alright! With this I should be able to cast more powerful spells and a lot more of them if I need it...

*Chirp!*

"Oh, yeah Neo, go back for now, I'll summon you again if things go bad...See ya"

*Chirp*

Neo soon flew right into the portal that appeared in the middle of the air, and disappeared from this dimension, at least until I called him back.

"Fuuh~ Alright!"

Many people walked through the streets of the city, me included. Though, not that they could notice anyways...

...

With the amount of Moonglow herbs I obtained in the Auction, plus the Blinkroot herbs inside my inventory, I managed to make 10 invisibility potions, while I still left some Moonglow and Blinkroot herbs for crafting other kind of potions in the future.

My plan was pretty simple.

Take advantage of the fact that I was invisible, and sneak right into the museum where the boots are being kept. Then after that I could make use of my newly acquired spell [magical bullet] to break the cage that contains those boots and then proceed to yoink them.

[Magical Rock bullet] Is a spell that I ideated by myself that worked by creating a small rock in the form of a bullet with [Rock creation Magic] right in front of my hand and firing it like real bullet using the [Mana explosion] technique in a concentrated radius right behind the rock. This could send the rock flying at a terrifying speed towards any direction that I wanted, and probably pierce through anything in its way, all this depending on the hardness I could give to the rock of course.

Otherwise, the rock could just crumble apart right after hitting the enemy, without doing that much damage.

Of course, this plan had it's flaws.

For example, If I receive any kind of damage, the invisibility potion will wear off completely. Also, every time I attack or use magic the potion will wear off for a few seconds before making me invisible again, So I have to be extremely careful when attacking someone or using my magic, as it will make me visible.

That's why I'll be using my Silver Armor on my vanity armor slots, so that way I can cover my face.

I'll be also using three more potions to make sure nothing bad happens, which are the Swiftness potion, the Ironskin potion, and the Hunter potion.

I'll use the Hunter potion to know where the guards of the museum are, and make sure to steal those boots when no one is near that area. As I have been investigating a bit what kind of movements to the guards perform, I know that there's a moment when the boots will be left alone, though it's not really a long moment it's still enough for me.

In case I get caught barehanded then I will use the Swiftness potion to increase my speed and run away before they can catch me. And if I'm lucky enough then I will also be able to steal those boots in time, which will also mean that I will be able to get another speed boost.

And finally, I will use the Ironskin potion to make sure no fatal wounds are inflicted on me... Or at least that I won't die that easily.

"Hmm... Three guards in the left area and two in the back... I guess I still need to wait a bit..."

The museum was pretty crowded at this hour of the day, Fortunately it could be lunchtime in just a few minutes, which could mean that many elves will leave the museum, and I could be able to steal those boots.

Elves weren't that cautious with their treasures, after all, very few people have actually tried to steal them, and all those that tried died just after being captured by the few trained guards of the city, or after trying to use the Hermes Boots.

So, the security of these boots wasn't that high to begin with.

After a while, two elf guards passed walking right in front of me while chuckling at their own jokes.

"Man... I'm hungry"

"I know, but it's almost lunchtime, so our work time it's almost over. Try to resist a bit more"

"Urgh..."

Soon, after those guys left, I was left alone in the room.

"No guards there, no guards here... alright."

Soon the dust inside many rooms started flying into this room and began gathering into one spot right above my hand. Hardening and becoming a rock with the shape of a bullet. After waiting for a few more minutes with the rock bullet shrinking and getting bigger over an over, the rock bullet finally obtained a hardness that I considered enough to break the glass of the cage.

As I began pointing it directly at the cage in which the boots were my invisibility wore off.

"Add a bit of rotation... and that could be just enough..."

Sweat rolled down my face while I concentrated deeply into the rotation and stability of the rock bullet, before checking my mana once again to make sure I wasn't wasting innecesary mana.

Man... this sure takes a lot of mana to perform... so with my current mana I can only shoot 2 at most huh?

Damn...

Well, whatever...

[Mana explosion]

*Boom!*

A small concentrated explosion appeared right behind the spinning rock bullet, and launched it directly towards the cage with a vertiginious speed.

*Crash!!*

The cage shattered leaving only a small part of it around the boots

"Nice!"

Soon my invisibility came back after I finished casting the spell, which led me to think that maybe this could be easier than what I thought.

However, as I always do unconsciously, I ended up raising a flag.

*Shriiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!*

After the cage broke apart, many magic circles appeared right below the place where the boots were, and soon an alarm echoed through all the museum.

After the alarm startled me a bit, I started hearing hurried voices a few rooms away.

"And here I thought I could eat quietly!"

"I'm gonna rip apart the fucker that dared to disturb my lunchtime!!"

"Where are you motherfucker!!"

...

Damn... I better take those boots fast or else I will become dead meat in no time.

...

That's the chapter of today, I guess.

Will Aspen be discovered? Will his plan fail?

Discover it in the next episode of this series.

Now I'm going to read all that's pending on my reading list today :)

Bye bye.
