Chapter 20 : Orthius defeat

Coming out of the restaurant Mawson got into the Lamborghini and drove away he headed towards the direction of the Ashumer which was said to host a gate way to the castle of Geryon which Orthus guards. Arriving in a government area Mawson packed his car beside the rubbles before getting down. The temple was on a government area and since they didn't know what to use it for anymore they decided to break it down the temple wasn't a very safe one and tourist eventually stopped coming to see it so the temple had just been there ever since.

Looking at the huge doors of the temple with all the inscriptions Mawson pushed it open as he walked inside looking round there really wasn't anything special about the temple it was just a wide rectangular room and there wasn't even a carven on the wall so Mawson deecided to look aroundas he placed his hands on the wall and felt it. the wall was very rough as he walked towards the end of the room. He then applied pressure on the wall as he dragged his hands round it. He had had his fair share of movies concerning this situation so he knew there would be a secret room somewhere and there was inly one way to find it by finding the tile that would move or shift after going round the room and relizing nothing moved he then took another lap again but yet nothing still moved he became frustrated as he noticed the carving on the floor which he didn't see when he came in and he had a keen vision so he knew that it just appeared. walking towards it Mawson bent and looked at the carving ot seemed similar to a particular carving he saw on the door but this time it was rearranged kneeling down Mawson arranged the carving to its original form before he heard a loud noise behind him as a door opened in the wall walking towards the door he felt a hige amout of breeze hit him as a loud noise was heard as the building was hit by an insane amount of wind shocking Mawson but he thought it was due to the door opening as he shrugged it off and passed through the opening.

In another realm a white portal opened as a man emerged from its depths walking towards the palace he observed the world. The world looked serene with yellow skys and beautiful meadows looking straight ahead Mawson saw a castle that was very big and wide and it was indeed beautiful walking towards it.

With every moment he got closer to the castle he he noticed the sky colour changing as a blood red colour seeped in changing the colour getting closer to the the castle Mawson noticed the huge hound laying there trying to get out of his shock he mistakenly took another step forward alerting the dog who immediately woke up and got to its feet. Mawson had expected Orthius to be big but he was still in shock standing close to the huge hound who wasn't just big but had red markings on his body that seemed to be made of flames as the two headed hound growled Mawson went deaf for three minutes as he felt blood trickling down from his ears as the color of the sky changed and became blood red and the beautiful meadows became a deserted rocky plain as the beautiful and huge castle became a small ugly abandoned mansion and all this happened just with the rise of Orthius who instinctively went after Mawson opening his mouth he tried biting him but Mawson saw it coming so he jumped out of the way entering the range of the second hound who in turn howled fire at Mawson this time he flew into the sky beforr calling thunder which struck from the sky and fell into his hands beforr he threw aiming at the head of Orthius as he growled from the attack as a deep tear was visible on his head as he jumped launching an attack at Mawson who was hovering up, even though Orthius was huge he was still very fast as Mawson had a hard time dodging his attacks but he still was a threat to Orthius due to his thunderstorm which Orthius was weak against. Flying higher Mawson used his thunder as two bolts came down as Mawson caught them as they formed gloves using this he clapped his hands releasing five more bolts at Orthius as he flew towards him that hunger which burned inside him was getting intense as he began to emit a certain lust for this battle as he punched Orthius with the thunder gloves pushing him back a few meters before clapping releasing fifteen lightning bolts that flew towards Orthius who was still trying to gain himself when he felt a series of sharp pain howling Orthius shut fire from his head as Mawson flew towards the flame holding his hands out he absorbed Orthius flames before returning it to him as he joined his thunder bolts with Orthius flames before punching the head of Orthius that releases fire as the punch destabilized it the second head swallowed Mawson but this time Mawson caught its jaws before pushing it high widening its mouth as his mouth became slack he flew out of Orthius mouth before gathering enough thunder to deliver the final attack to Orthius, gathering the thunder he joined it with Orthius energy making the bolts burn with flames as he shot it to the gap Orthius had between his head killing it as Orthius gave his last howl before falling to the ground dead as Mawson fell to the ground using his hands and knees to support his fall he had used almost all his energy to deliver that attack so know he felt a strong and severe hunger unlike before his demon side was already growing and now that it has started to crawl its way out he knew he won't be the same ever again starting from when he fulfills his urge to devour Orthius. Getting up Mawson walked towards the body of Orthius as he touched it and began absorbing the remaining energy. it took him sometime to finish devouring Orthius energy because Orthius was a very strong beast but after he finished it was only Orthius bones that was left cause his body disintegrated due to energy loss but with that Mawson felt stronger as he could fell his demon feast on Orthius energy his eyes was pure red as he heaved a sugh of relief before he returned to his normal self Opening his eyes Mawson frowned as he saw something displeasing.
