Kicking a doll's butt

When Xander heard his name he was frozen in place and, the man who called his name had to repeat it two more times before he walked into the stage, he was still a bit nervous but he managed to walk forward.

What he met in front of him was a doll about seven feet tall, but that wasn't the only thing that made it look special, it had four hands with the other two sticking out from other his arms, and it could move it's body freely as if it were a human, such machines were only available to the higher ups, and with it being here, he knew it was going to be a though battle.

"Contestant 52, your quest is to last in the stage for fifteen minutes and still walk out in one piece", the man's voice said and those words he said made him almost quit the competition, ' walk out in onmitivated kept ringing in his head, but when he glanced at his mother who kept cheering at Jim loudly he couldn't help but smile and after taking a few deep breaths, he was finally ready.

Ding!

A notification sound dinged in his head, and he opened his system.

[New quest: Destroy the robot]

Seeing the quest further increased his moral, and he slowly and cautiously went forward after a bang was heard showing that the battle had begun, there was also a holographic screen that was showing his count down to the spectators.

This time he brought out his steel claws, since it seemed to be the best wepon in this type of situation, besides his mother had trained him in all the three weapons he used and his hand to hand combat was somewhere between average and excellent.

He threw out a a punch, but it was blocked by one of the doll's hand, it threw it's own punch but Xander easily dodged the punch, and just before the doll withdrew its arms Xander held it's fingers firmly and sliced everything off from the wrist.

The crowd cheered him on but he was too busy fighting to even notice the cheering crowd. He was a bit tempted to use the smoke skills in his asernel but he stopped himself and only used the Aura Detector skill, making him see the aura of the doll's, hand a few centimeters away before he was hit, any though inanimate objects didn't have auras, this one did due to it being powered by a beast crystal.

The doll threw out a punch with it's upper right arm that still had a wrist, while at the same time,a punch flew downwards with its lower left arm. The right hand was stopped was stopped by a punch which, caused some of the wood to fall of and now, the other punch was on its way but he twisted it away and punched the doll with all the strength he could muster and it made the doll tumble, and before it could regain its composure Xander ran forward and with the blade parts of the steel claws as well as his strength he cut the leg of the doll off, though he didn't destroy the beast yet he at least had taken out its legs, but the robot stood up and kept walking towards Xander and then it puched Xander with all four of its hands, and it was to fast for him to block so he took it all head on and he was sent flying back.

He ran forward and jumped forward and slashed the doll's chest,and then, another punch came but with his strength, he moved both of his hands and, cracks could be seen on the bots arm, assuming it was a human or beast there would had slowed down as they would be feeling immense pain but not this doll, it just kept fighting.

The doll grabbed one of Xander's hands then it, took Xander and attempted to slam Xander on the floor but it made a mistake.

It had taken Xander to it's head level, and Xander used the opportunity to stick one of his steel claws into his head, the doll pulled and pulled but Xander wasn't letting go,but the kept pulling until it's head was seperated from its body, it soon started falling to the ground and the grip on Xander's hand has loosen, but its body was still able to move but it no longer had eyes.

Xander went and took out all of its arms one by one and then, destroyed it's chest and after he had destroyed everything, he heard a familiar ding in his head but he ignored that as he soon noticed that the crowd had gone silent, he still had two minutes of time left before his time limit for the text was almost up, bit it was done he realised that he had done something that no one else has even come close to doing, he beat the doll.

Even the commentator who kept quiet during the fight had suddenly gone quiet until after a few seconds before he said " and the winner of the fight is contestant 52", it was also the first time the word win has been used to describe a contestant and Xander started walking towards the part of the stadium where the contents were supposed to stay.

After the commotion about the Xander 'incident' room place, a knight who was had the crest the fire nation in his armour, the fire nation crest was a single white sword that was in flames.

"I thank each and every one last of uou for coming to see the talents of our young ones", he said in a gentle voice and a smile on his face he was wearing armour everywhere except for his head.

"Surprisingly the number of students who will be going to Great lake Academy is a mere number of five, Xander Woods, kelvin Edge,Alvin Grayson, Sarah Collin and Bella Rollins", as soon as those words were said a few if the contestants were crying while others complained.

"The selected future students are to be here tomorrow with their belongings packed as we would be moving tomorrow", Xander's mind instantly went into party mode as soon as the news if him getting the chance to go to the academy, he was more delighted than ever and when it all ended he went to see his mother, and the mother and son duo instantly hugged each other.

"I can't Bel that you're going to be a student of Great lake academy", Sheila said smiling he kissed his for head affectionately, while he responded with the words"I can't either, I still think that this is all just a dream.

"It isn't a dream, and don't worry even if it is a dream I promise not to wake you up", she said and they both laughed. "Now come one we have a bit of packing up to do",/she added while he smiled and followed her lead home.
