Gene and I hurried as fast as we could to Aqua Chrysalis. We went straight to Mr. Shark's room. Luckily, he was there, so we told him about the bit of info we heard from Nathaniel.

Of course, we kept secret the part about both of us being phantom thieves working under Mr. White. Who knows how he would've reacted to that.

Mr. Shark stood up after spending a few minutes thinking. "The sooner we stop him, the better. Those books have to be destroyed. Hopefully, he hasn't gained that ability yet."

"Do the books really state a way to control humans?" asked Miss Butterfly.

"I don't know. I've never read the books myself, but they could provide a hint. There is a possibility."

He looked at Miss Butterfly, who was standing beside him. She nodded and took out her cellphone. She began contacting some people.

Mr. Shark took his briefcase. "Both of you can either stay in a safe area or come with us. It's up to you. Thank you for the information."
