The Perfect Vengeance

To avenge the death of his grandfather who was murdered by Thomas Cavern, Joseph Bryant plots heinous revenge for the superpower man. The first thing The Bryants will do is kill one of Thomas Cavern's daughters through Jace. To carry out the plan carefully, Jo asks Jace to go to the same school as Thomas Cavern’s daughters. Carrying out the mission, Jace begins to approach Thomas Cavern's innocent daughter (Cleo) although her twin sister (Elsie) forbids their closeness because she knows Jace's background that the boy has been in and out of prison and has a criminal record. One day, Elsie replaces her twin sister to meet Jace. Instead of Cleo, it's Elsie who is kidnapped. However, because of that incident, Jace falls in love with her.

True Love

Having just broken his heart, Jace had finished drinking Scotch at the pub to make up for his hurt Saturday night. To the girl who attracts and blows his heart as easily as blinking, also to the cousin of his mother who managed to beat him in a landslide. As if to relieve his emotions, he didn't even care about anything around him; such as the rebuke of the people, the tantrum of the bartender, or the teasing of women. His heart sinks remembering the rejection of Kathleen Sanders, the girl he has been neighbors with—even close friends—since they were born in the world.

Jace's head started to feel heavy and he slumped onto the table, his cheeks pressed against the glass base. His eyes started to dim, he couldn't even see properly anymore. The image caught in the lens of his eye moved out of sync and doubled. Only one person he knew was approaching him. A sandy blonde-haired boy who has navy blue irises.

"Why are you here, Caden?" Jace asked in an incoherent mumble, seeing his best friend, Caden, sitting across from him with a concerned shake of his head.

"Must be a woman's problem," Caden guessed to find his best friend already unsteady from drinking all the glasses of Scotch to the toilet. The young man knew very well when it was time for Jace to be depressed, angry, annoyed, happy, and so on. Spending that much on Scotch is a sign that his best friend is getting into trouble with a woman.

A Casanova when he falls in love with a woman, surely cannot escape her sting, falls on her knees like a slave to a great queen, and is willing to do anything to win her heart. As has happened to Giocomo Casanova, a philosopher as well as an adventurer in love and a woman's heart-attractor who for the first time fell in love with a woman, instead, he is thrown so violently, painfully, and hard by the woman. That's how Jace felt now. Failing to win the heart of the girl he longed for, instead fell into the hands of his cousin.

"Hmm." Jace just gave a lazy mumble.

"Don't worry. You still have Tamara. Cheers up, Dude. You can still have billions of girls like her in this world." Caden patted Jace on the shoulder.

"I'm going to dump Tamara," Jace continued in the middle of his subconscious. He laughed bitterly. "I'm going to dump her as I did to the other girls. Painfully, of course."

Caden chuckled softly in response to Jace's sentence which was so full of resentment and ingrained disappointment. But he couldn't do anything but pat Jace on the shoulder to give him encouragement and support.

But far from all that, all Jace wanted was love. A woman's true love for him.
