Shuri was protecting Akeno with her body. She knew that all attackers were from the Himejima clan. She knew her situation was very dire.

Akeno: Mom, I am really scared. Who are these people? Where is father?

Shuri: Don't worry dear I won't let anything happen to you, you'll be fine.

After saying that he was about to attack then suddenly a massive aura fell on them and they heard someone's cold voice from behind them.

After they hear a deep voice they turn around and saw a figure that is covered in black with red lights shining from his helmet, when they saw the figure an assassin ask him while shuddering.

Assassin: "W-who are you and what do you want from us."

when the assassin ask that question the figure spoke.

Ryuji: "Is to save those 2 and of course having fun to bring up your demise!" he said sarcastically

After declared that he then summon his sword and summon his space severing sword massacring the assassin with no mercy.

They were again shocked but the kid launched his sword and soon all the Assassins were dead except the leader. His back was filled with cold sweat, he knew for sure that he would die today. Then he noticed the figure's eye flashing red again and he lost the ability to move his body, because of fear

Ryuji :" Who gave you the information about their location? Who told you that they would be here?

Assassin leader: I don't know his name but he was a fallen angel with 10 wings.

Ryuji : "Thank you for the information now you can die painlessly, so in the next life you will never repeat the same mistake again". And so he resolve this by decapitating the leader's head. after that he went to the mother and daughter duo and saw them shaking in fear for what they have witness, so he use his holy manipulation to calm them down.

Shuri: "Who are you sir?" she ask

Ryuji : " Just your every day friendly passerby." he answer blankly

Akeno: "What is your name."

Ryuji: "That is something that you don't need to know, ok now come with so you and your mother can be safe."

Akeno: "But where dad? why don't he save us?" She then started questioning her savior

Ryuji : That's because he was forced to go his mission because he's been out of missions for so long and his position is also high in his organization too, even though he was late but he tried his best to save you as fast as he can, so please don't blame him."

Akeno & Shuri: I understand.
