Chapter 23

Josh who got back early, still thinking how did Sarah met the guy she's with right now. He didn't think that Sarah would be that bold to know any stranger here since she never been any vacation before.

Is she that friendly with that guy, he thought.

He seat at the sofa in the living room and turn on the television, but he wasn't really focused on watching what's on the tv.

An hour after that, he could heard the door have been unlock. He saw Sarah at the corner of his eyes, she stop before going into the living room when she sees him there.

But he just pretend that she wasn't there by just watch the tv without turn his head to look at Sarah.

Just a few second later, Sarah begin to walk towards her room, she didn't wanna know why Josh got back early. Since there is nothing to talk.

But then Josh voice suddenly could be heard, asking her where she went.

Sarah turns around and look at Josh, she said that she was with her friend.

"Ohh a friend?"

"Yes, a friend."

Then Josh didn't say anything but he still looked at Sarah and it seem that Sarah knows that Josh haven't finish talking yet since he is still looking at her.

But a minute have pass and Josh haven't said anything and so Sarah is getting annoyed at the silent Josh gave. So she ask him whether he have any questions to ask.

After for so long he looked at her, and heard what she said. Josh finally said he had nothing to ask and turn back to watch the tv.

Sarah turn to walk into her room,after that she got her mobile phone out from her beg and starts to charge it since it was in a low battery since she took so many picture using her phone.

She took her towel and goes straight towards the bathroom to take a shower. After she finish showering, she wear her clothes.

Before she going to sleep, she check her phone and found there is a few chat. One is from Aaron and the other one is from Mr.Alexander.

Before she open Mr.Alexander chat, she open Aaron's chat first.

"Good night Sarah, hope you have a sweet dream. Meet you tomorrow."

Sarah replies " Good night to you too Aaron, ok I won't forget".

After finish reply Aaron's chat, she mentally prepared what is Mr. Alexander trying to ask and so she open it and read.

Sarah, how are you and Josh doing.? Are you having fun on your honeymoon? Dis Josh treat you well.

Sarah reply, we're doing ok dad. You don't have to worry about anything. Yes we did, we visit so many places. Don't worry dad, Josh treat me well here. Rest assure.

Without waiting for any reply from Aaron or Mr.Alexander, Sarah put her phone beside the desk near the bed. And she put her head on the pillow.

Since she was so exhausted, she fell asleep quickly.

While Josh, after Sarah got into her room. He took the remote and turn the television off, the he goes to his room.

He didn't take a shower first but seat the chair new par at the large window.

He could see the scenery from the inside of his room. He took his cigarette and smoke it. After finish one cigarette, he took his towel to take it into the bathroom.

But before he got inside the bathroom, he hears that's his phone ringing and so he turns back to the table near the chair he seat a while ago.

He look at the screen and it shows that his father is calling him. He knew why his father is calling now.

" Hey dad."

"Where are you?"

"I'm at the hotel with Sarah, why?"

"Oh nothing, just checking the two of you. How's your honeymoon? Did you treat Sarah well?"

Josh couldn't help but feel irritate, this is his father. Why the hell did he care so much about that girl.

Mr. Alexander didn't hear any sound from his son so he ask again. And Josh replied that the both of them are doing great and he ask his father that he shouldn't be worrying about them.

Since they are going back the day after tomorrow, feeling assured by his son. Mr. Alexander finally ended the call.

Josh put his phone back at the table, and walks toward the bathroom.

After he took a shower, he just wrap the towel around his waist. There is only a day in a half before their return to America.

Josh thought that it will be good for him to treat Sarah tomorrow, so after he finish wearing his clothes. He begin to go to Sarah's room.

Before he open the door, he knocked it first. But he didn't hear Sarah response so he knocked again a few times and still she didn't respond.

So he try to open the door and it did, Sarah didn't lock her door. And when he finally open, he saw that Sarah was already asleep.

So he no longer disturb her, he close the door and return to his own room.

Maybe I'll tell her tomorrow, Josh thought.

He also begin to lay on his bed and fell asleep a few minutes later.
