"Nothing else seems to be different." Xiaoyi told Weiyuan.
"Yeah so what brought you to this city?" He asked her curiously.
"I am trying to find my way back home. I am from Datong and I want to see if my father is okay." She replied with a pained expression on her face.
"Then I have some good news for you. I have been there before and it should just be a 1 hour drive away." Weiyuan said excitedly.
"You have a car?" She looked excited as well.
This will make her journey so much easier than she thought it was going to be. She also won't have to worry about sleeping outside or finding a town to rest in as they could be there before the sun was even close to setting.
"Oh, right. No, I don't. I crashed it into a tree when the bright lights showed up." Weiyuan said while scratching his head.
"Mmmmm. What else can we do? I guess we are walking." He decided after hardly any thought.
"There are wild animals out there. Even the bunnies could kill us if we aren't cautious." She told him.
"Then we just have to fight them back. I heard it will be good for leveling up." He responded.
"I will not kill the cute bunnies!" She said in a pouty tone.
"Alright. Alright. Let me see if we can get anything to make the trip better." Weiyuan said while leaving the building.
Once they are outside her motions for her to stay there.
Weiyuan proceeds to walk down the street looking at all of the wooden signs sticking out from the buildings. He takes mental note of which ones look useful.
"Follow me, I know where we need to stop for us to get what we need." he says to her.
Weiyuan takes her to a sign that looks like a shield, a trident and a sword. Inside that building is a restaurant.
"Well this one is a bust but I'm sure the others will work." He walks out and continues.
***
"WHO NAMES A RESTAURANT "CAMPING GOODS"? I GET THEY HAVE TAKE OUT BUT I WANT A TENT! WHO USES A TENT ON A SIGN IF ITS AN INN? WHY DO THEY USE TENTS IN THE ROOM? JUST SELL ME A TENT! THE ROOM WILL STILL BE THERE WITHOUT THE TENT! THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE TENT EITHER! WHY IS THERE A BLACKSMITH THAT ONLY MAKES JEWELRY? NO WONDER THIS IS A TOWN THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING!" Weiyuan continues to scream obscenities while being escorted out of the town.
Xiaoyi follows quietly behind the two guards that are carrying Weiyuan out by his arms to a different gate than the one Xiaoyi came in.
"Humans, come to our place then tell us how to do things?" Some onlooker says.
"Well I for one agree with him. It took me a week just to find what I needed in this town." A different onlooker says
Then a big group agrees that this town has a horrible naming system that is not friendly to travelers.
A few of them pity him and follow after the guards. After the guards throw him down they leave and the group approaches.
"Hey man, just tell us what you need and we can probably scrap something up for you." A female looking male lizard said.
"Thank you all, I just need some rations, a tent and a pot." Weiyuan says in a calm voice as though he had not been screaming moments ago.
After a few minutes of waiting, a 7 foot tall hunched old orc man came back with a dirty looking backpack.
"Here you go young fellas. Unfortunately my adventuring days are long in the past. There should be everything you need in there and maybe even more." The old orc man said while dropping the 5 foot tall bag on top of Weiyuan.
"Thank you so much sir." Xiaoyi says while giving him a polite wave as she pushes the orcs bag off of Weiyuan.
"Come on, look at yourself. You are all dirty just because you didn't want to try hard enough to the right building. Then again we would probably have to trade, so this is probably the best outcome." She said while helping the damaged Weiyuan to his feet.
"Well come on pick it up we need to get going" She said when dusting off her hands.
He grunted as he picked up the bag. "This back feels like it is just packed with rocks."
The sun is already a bit more than halfway down by the time they come to a sign post.
'Land of Jarhoth. East 9 miles. I really hope we want to go East.' She thought as she saw that it was where the orcs lived.
'Shavilock Town. North 2 miles. That did not feel like 2 miles.' She turns around to see Weiyuan slowly hiking a couple hundred feet away with sweat falling off his face.
'Wild Forest. West, South 4 miles. It still only has one skull. I still don't know what that means but hopefully if we go through it's not that bad.' She prays to herself.
"C-camp we set up camp here. I c-can't continue." Weiyuan says that as he falls to the side. With how big the bag is his body doesn't even hit the ground as he is parallel to the ground.
When she walks over to check on him he is already asleep. "Guess I have to set up camp."
She spends the next 30 minutes just pulling the bag 50 feet off of the path so they are a little more secluded.
"Wow and to think that he carried this for a couple of hours. I barely made it move 50 feet in 30 minutes." She slowly starts pulling things out with the strength she has left and starts setting up the tent.

Weiyuan wakes up outside of the tent just as it is getting dark. He looks around and sees that everything is set up.
There is a pot standing on some soaked twigs with a weak fire keeping the beans inside warm. A massive tent that's as big as the inn room they had in the past.
He happily ate all of the beans. Rubbed his stomach and headed into the tent.
Inside he saw that the tent had two sections split by small rocks placed on the ground. One was about 75% of the tent where Xiaoyi was sleeping with an animal hide blanket and some kind of sleeping bag. He could see her pants layed out neatly right next to her sleeping bag. On the other side he saw an empty rectangle just big enough for him to fit. He went into the corner to find a sharp rock jabbing into his back. He gets up to put the empty bag into his small corner and it almost completely gets rid of the feeling of the pointy rock.
Xiaoyi woke up early the next morning having to go to the bathroom. Her hopes of never dealing with the scratchy toilet paper of orcs did not come to an end. That was her thoughts till she saw a white shirt lying on the ground next to Weiyuan. She took her sword and cut the sleeves off of the shirt. This was perfect. She could easily wash them in a river or something.
'It would be a lot better than scratch paper.' She thought as she left the tent.

When she returned, Weiyuan was already awake with his shirt on, wondering where the sleeves could have gone. When she came back with them, even though they looked clean he knew.
Lets go! they are back on the road and who knows whats waiting a head. If you love it share some love.
