Zeus vs Poseidon

After the crazy all night party, many of the gods and goddesses had dozed off in Zeus' palace, some were even half way naked, Zeus fell asleep on top his throne with a goddess completely naked on top of him.

Hera walked into the hall seeing all this, she felt completely disgusted especially because of all of Zeus' illegitimate children.

"So this is what you do when I'm not around?" She said as she walked passed all the piles of body on the ground stepping on their legs and feet with her heels.

She tore down the curtains and asked everyone to leave.

Zeus woke up groaning as the light from the open window shone on his face.

"Oh, my lovely wife, how was your retreat?" He asked as he pushed the lady on him away.

"It was good, it really helped me with my anger for you and the results of all your frolicking behavior" she said.

"Okay, good to know" he said.

"Maybe you should advise your brother to do the same" she said.

"Who? Poseidon? Nah, he's cool" he said rejecting the offer.

Moments later Poseidon's presence was announced by the palace guard, he walked into the throne room to see Zeus and Hera arguing.

"That is a sight that never gets old" he teased.

"Speak of the devil"

"Poseidon, what a pleasant surprise, brother" Zeus said as he welcomed him.

"I am afraid my presence here is not of pleasantries" he said, "Hera" he greeted her as he bent his head a bit.

"Poseidon" she did same.

"I have urgent matters to discuss with you privately" He said facing Zeus with a serious face.

"Speak, Hera needs not leave, she is the queen of Olympus" Zeus said but Hera decides to walk out maybe because she already knows everything.

"You boys do you, I need some quiet time since someone just ruined the purpose of my retreat" she said as she walked out.

"What is it brother, you look pale?" Zeus said as he could sense that Poseidon was stressed.

"Did you do it?" He asked

"Do what?"

"You really don't know what I'm talking about?" Poseidon asked.

"I seriously do not know what you speak of" Zeus said with a genuine look.

"Well" he sighs for he didn't know how to say it.

"Someone has killed the kraken" he added.

"What? That is impossible, I never freed the kraken" Zeus replied.

"I did"

"What, you what?" Zeus' tone completely changed.

Hera who was listening in on their conversation, smiled before walking away.

"Who gave you the authority to free the Kraken?" He said as his anger rose.

"I am a god, just like you, I should have such authority" Poseidon argued.

"I am your king" Zeus thundered, his anger caused the weather to completely change in Olympus and even on earth.

Even Poseidon got angry which shook the very dept of the sea.

Zeus felt that Poseidon was challenging his authority and Poseidon felt he was being belittled by Zeus and both their anger shook the core of Olympus.

A guard rushed towards Hera who sat at her porch enjoying the weather, "my lady, the king and his brother quarrels".

"Let them be, it is after all, a battle of pride and as such no one should get involve" she said as she continued to with her quiet time.

Zeus had struck Poseidon with lightning, he had blocked it with a shield made out of water but the force still sent him flying out breaking walls until he burst through the last and fell to the ground.

Everybody outside saw Poseidon falling to the ground and Zeus from the top jumped down to land on him but he quickly dodged it giving them space.

"Is that all you got, brother" Poseidon said in a rather cocky tone.

"I'm just getting started"

He tossed his trident at Zeus, he hit with his hand diverting to towards a building, Poseidon rushed towards him and punched him, Zeus blocked it with his hand and the force made him move back a bit.

They rushed towards each other screaming and exchanging punches, it seemed like they were evenly matched but Poseidon was the one who was taking most of the hit, maybe not being in the water gave Zeus an advantage but Zeus was still more powerful than him.

The fight continued for a while with buildings coming down until Poseidon fell to his knees, he had taken too much hits and fell before Zeus.

"Find out who killed the kraken and do not come back until you do" he said.

As he walked away his clothes fell off, it had loosened a bit during the party, but nobody dared to laugh at him, Zeus may be the kind of god who likes to go out and sleep with any woman that caught his eyes but he was not to be messed with....
