Fighting against a goddess

The whole gang void of emotions sat on the floor close to where they had burnt Tony's body.

Clinton stood up to Leave, "I have to go, Micheal, my mom might be worried", Micheal say there without responding.

"Are you just gonna leave?" Lee said with a anger in his eyes.

"I don't wish to, but I have to, if my hear about your house, they'd be worried about me" Clinton said.

"Just go, it's not like you were any help" Lee said

"That is not fair" Clinton said before leaving.

"You shouldn't speak to allies like that" Athena said to Lee as she was the only person who was still in her senses.

Lee looked down without giving a response.

"I'm just tired" he later said.

"I feel your pain" Athena said.

"Wait aren't you like the god of wisdom? Surely you would know who is doing all of this" Lee asked....

"I am the god of practical reasoning, when it comes to war, I can devise great tactics, but for a while there have been no wars and mankind no longer pray to me, so..." She said.

"I do not have much power, but Zeus can help" She added

"From what you said earlier, he's definitely not going to be helpful" Lee added

They spoke trying to seek a way to defeat whoever wanted to use the box against mankind but Micheal was still lost in thoughts so Lee had to bring him back to reality.

"Hey dude" he snapped his finger in front of him.

"What?" He asked as he came back to reality.

"We need you" Lee said.

"You don't need me, I am nothing but trouble" Micheal said

"Micheal, you are human, you make mistakes, you fail yourself and others around you....." Athena spoke trying to console him but it seemed like the opposite.

"But if there is something I have seen in your kind is that you never give up, you always fight for what you believe in, even though the battle seem lost already" Athena added.

"That's nothing but pride" Micheal said

And with that Lee got up to and hit him on his face falling him to the ground completely.

"I have known you almost all my life, you've never been one to quit, yes Tony died, yes you blame yourself, but you weren't the only one who took the box home, I took part in all of this and all this time you have been fighting by yourself, but not anymore, Tony's death cannot be in vain" Lee yelled at him hoping he would come back fighting "please Micheal" he added.

"I can't risk your life too" he said while still on the floor with tears in his eyes.

"You won't" he said as he walked closer to him and giving him his hand to help him get up.

"You came back" Lee said.

"I wasn't going to let you save the world by yourself, so you can rub it all on my face later" Clinton said as they both smiled.

Micheal seeing all this stood up holding Clinton's hand, "let's go save the world then".

"Uh....but how, we don't know who we are fighting against?" Lee said.

"I might have an idea about that" Athena stated, "let's go inside".....

Inside the house, Athena told everyone about a goddess named Hera.

"Yeah, I know about her, she is the goddess of women, marriage and childbirth" Lee said "people pray to her during delivery" he added

"Yes.....she is a very powerful goddess some may argue as powerful as Zeus" Athena said

"Isn't she the stepsister slash wife of Zeus?" Lee asked

"Okay, we know you are smart and all that, but can you please just let Athena speak" Clinton said as it was getting a little bit weird, "wait, sorry I can call you Athena right?" He asked

"Yes as of the moment we are a team" She replied as she continued with her explanation.

"Zeus like many gods is known for frolicking, whenever he sets his eyes on a beautiful woman, he always gets her" Athena said.

"Wait gets her as in, you know?" Micheal asked

"Yes, he comes in to the woman and that attitude has given Zeus many children of which I am one of them, and this makes Hera, queen of Olympus hate him and even the children of Zeus's mistress" she said...

"So you are saying she is planning on using the box for revenge?" Micheal asked as she stared at Athena.

"Not just any revenge, Hera may be powerful but not as much as Zeus" she said "you see gods get their powers from how many devotees they have and everyone who believes in us believes in Zeus as the most powerful of all gods" she added

"And the only way she can surpass Zeus is by getting more devotees than him" she said "and one of the ways you can make others believe in you is by showing them how powerful you are" she added

"So she plans on using the box to create disasters on humans and also save them with it" Lee stated.

"Would you please stop it already, I was going to say that" Athena said as she got infuriated with Lee interrupting her

"What, I mean anybody could think of that, right?" Lee said

"Please let her tell us everything before you add yours, alright?" Micheal pleaded with him

"Okay, fine"

"And from my understanding, she doesn't plan on just anyone but...." Athena spoke but was soon interrupted by the infamous corrector

"But on humans who never believed in Zeus on any other gods before, right?" Lee said

"Okay that's it, you are dead" Athena said as she hits the table in front of them and went for Lee who quickly ran for his dear life.

"They are called atheist, you know" he said as he continued running while Micheal and Clinton couldn't stop laughing......
