Chapter 6: Works to do

On the mountain, Ang was running when he saw boxes flying towards him. Shocked and scared, he ran backwards towards the house. When he saw Dan coming, he felt relieved and moved towards the boxes.

As Dan neared the door, he ordered, "Leave them here and get back to work." The people responded, "Yes, sir," and returned to their positions.

A few minutes later, Ang approached Dan and asked, "Did my father send these?"

Dan was a little surprised and said, "How intelligent you are, young master. Yes, your father sent them. Let's take a look."

Ang then noticed the workers and was surprised. "Who are they, Dan?"

Dan replied, "Ah, fear not, young master. They are just workers who have come to build you a house."

Ang said, "Oh, workers. Then it's fine. Let's see what my father sent." He moved towards a box and opened it.

Dan said, "Okay, young master." Dan used his qi to remove the covers from all the boxes except the ones with golden letters.

The box Ang opened contained clothes. "There are clothes here," Ang said, surprised at how Dan had opened all the boxes. Ang examined each box.

"There are foods, metals, and some wood too, but Dan, where are the bricks?" Ang asked.

"Bricks? What's that, young master?" Dan replied.

"Bricks are used to make houses," Ang explained.

Dan was confused. "I'm not familiar with bricks for house-making, young master."

Ang clarified, "They are made from clay, rocks, and heat."

Dan said, "There are similar things, but they are very expensive."

Ang thought for a moment, then picked up some clay, added water from a mud jar, mixed in some rock chunks, shaped it into a rectangle, and told Dan, "Heat it."

Dan watched the process without interrupting and then heated the shaped clay with his palm. After it cooled, Ang picked it up and said, "This is a brick. We use this to build houses."

Dan was still confused. "A house from that?"

Ang replied, "Yes, we need to make more." He looked at the mountain and then at the workers. "First, inspect the other things." He moved towards the boxes with golden letters and asked Dan, "Why didn't you open these?"

Dan replied, "Young master, these boxes are specially prepared by the Lord and can only be opened by you. We need to open them inside the house."

Ang agreed, "Okay. Dan, can you tell the guards to cut down the mountain?"

Dan stayed silent for a moment, then said, "Okay, master." He silently sent a telepathic message to his underlings.

Dan moved the boxes, except for the house-making ones, and the guards. Ang inspected the workers and then returned.

Ang said, "Wake them up."

Dan complied, "Okay, young master." He woke up the workers who were lying down.

The workers were confused and scared, seeing the unknown environment. They saw Ang and Dan standing there.

Ang approached them, "Now that you're all awake, hear me out."

One worker rudely asked, "Who the hell are you, brat?"

Ang quickly turned to Dan and said, "No killing, Dan."

But it was too late. When Ang turned back, the worker had vanished, leaving only ashes.

Seeing this, the other workers were terrified and ran backwards.

Ang angrily said, "I told you many times, don't kill anyone!"

Dan replied, "I didn't kill anyone, young master. Look up."

They all looked up and saw a naked man flying in the sky, covering his parts. The workers calmed slightly but were still scared.

Ang ordered, "Put him down." Dan complied, and Ang handed the naked worker some clothes from the boxes. "Put these on," he said. "Don't be scared. We didn't kidnap you."

Hearing this, the workers became more scared and bowed their heads, "Sorry, sir."

Ang turned to Dan and said, "See what you've done? They are normal workers, not assassins or enemies."

Dan apologized, "Sorry, young master."

Ang addressed the workers, "Don't be afraid. We want to give you some work. You'll get extra payment if you do your best."

The workers stared at Ang fearfully but didn't say anything. Ang continued, "All you have to do is dig some clay from the ground. Understand?"

The workers nodded fearfully and said, "Yes, sir."

Ang turned to Dan and said, "Call the guards and gather those with fire powers. We need them." Then he entered the house.

Dan then looked at the rude worker, who became more terrified than any of the others, and fainted when Dan's eyes met his.

After Dan and Ang left, the head worker quickly regained his composure and said, "Get up, boys. We need to do some work or else…" He glanced at the unconscious worker. The other workers saw this and quickly took out their tools, ready to dig up the clay.
