Chapter 4: Ling family delivery

When Ang woke up, he saw an unfamiliar house and felt the same way he did when he first arrived in this world. After checking his clothes and seeing Dan behind him, he quickly understood what was happening.But he still ask.

"Dan, where are we?" Ang asked, still a bit confuse.

Dan looked at him with a reassuring smile. "We're in the mountains, young master. Your father sent us here for your safety."

"The mountains?" Ang repeated. "Why?"

Dan sat down beside him.

"Your father wanted to keep it a secret, even from your mother, to avoid any complications. He instructed me to bring you here quietly, and to protect you while you train and get stronger."

Ang nodded slowly, processing the information. "I see. So, I'm supposed to stay here and train?"

"Yes," Dan confirmed. "I'll be here to help you. Your father trusts me to keep you safe and to support you during your training."

Ang took a deep breath, feeling a mix of emotions. "Alright, but I didn't even get to say goodbye to anyone."

Dan replied, "The Lord wanted me to keep it quick so no one would find out. If anyone knew, the problem would get bigger and the assassins would come more frequently."

Ang asked, "But why are assassins coming after me since childhood?"

Dan said, "Young master, due to... sorry, but I cannot tell you about this. You have to hide your identity as the 3rd young master of the Ling family."

Ang was confused by this information but knew Dan wouldn't tell him more even if he asked. So, he changed the question, "Then what are we going to do here?"

Dan said, "We have many things to do, like training, traveling, mountain climbing, tree climbing, and much more."

Ang, just hearing this, groaned, "Ugh, my good life..." and tried to go back to sleep, but Dan caught him.

"Get up, young master, it's morning," Dan said.

"What's the time? It's very early," Ang replied.

"No, young master, it's morning," Dan insisted.

"But I don't want to train," Ang said.

"You have to become strong, young master," Dan replied firmly, grabbing Ang and taking him outside.

In the market, a girl in a maid outfit was shopping, her age similar to Ang's. A few other maids were also there, buying vegetables for their respected Wei family.

As the girl turned back to the market, a voice came from behind, "Lin." She looked back to see another girl around her age, dressed in rich clothes and accompanied by some guards.

Lin replied, "Yes, young miss."

The young miss said, "Let's go to another area. That shop doesn't have anything. Leave this to the other maids and come with me."

They moved towards another area.

While walking with the young miss of the Wei family, Lin felt more comfortable, as only the young miss, named Hneu, treated her kindly. The other members of the family treated her like a maid. Lin was not an orphan, but her parents worked for the Mei family.

Sometimes, Lin, as an only child, also came here with her parents. Lin and Hneu had a long friendship. They played together, sometimes ate together, but others people in the household of wei family treated Lin like a maid's daughter.

As they traveled, they heard horses approaching. Hneu's guards got ready, protecting her and leaving Lin behind.

The horses arrived, and the rider announced, "Make way, the Ling family delivery is coming." People quickly moved to make space for the delivery. Tension filled the air.

The guards of the Mei family sensed the tension and moved back, leaving Lin alone in the crowd. Overwhelmed and separated from Hneu, Lin started crying. But no one noticed her tears because she looked like a maid.

After a tense moment, the crowd quieted down as the delivery passed through. People started talking again, wondering:

"Why would they need so many things?"

"Did you hear? The delivery is going to that quiet mountain."

"Yeah, I heard it's been closed off for days."

"It's strange, right? What could they be sending there?"

"Or maybe it's something secret, like a hidden base."

"It's definitely interesting. I wonder what's in those crates."

Lin listened to these conversations as she tried to find her way through the crowd. The more she moved, the more she heard new gossip. The biggest rumor she heard from many people was that there was a hidden supreme master on the mountain who ordered these things.

"Have you heard the latest rumors?There's talk of a hidden supreme master who comes to the mountain under the cover of night. They say he's the one who ordered those mysterious deliveries."

Lin's curiosity piqued as she listened to the whispers. A hidden supreme master? Could it be true? She couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay hidden within the mountain, and who this enigmatic figure might be.

And move to crowd and finnally the Hneu guards and move towards themmm.....
