Chapter 4: Aqua Fun

Saniya looked pleased and was finally convinced, "I am really impressed at that, and just see, it's almost 5:30 in the morning now! I really didn't realize how fast time has ticked off in your company! We have had a very good time together here and I am happy to know you Arjun. The sun is out now, so I should go back to the hotel and take some rest."

Arjun didn't want her to leave, he said, "yeah sure, but before moving from here, I want you to come with me near the seashore and experience the early morning breeze, as this will further add some wonderful moments to our being together here."

"Ok, but please assure me you will not pull me into the waters which must be chilled, in the early morning," Saniya raised this cute condition.

"Ok promise, I will not push you into the waters. Just close your eyes and stand beside on the shore. Let the waves touch our feet while we breathe in the refreshing morning breeze," he said to her.

"Do keep holding my hand while my eyes are closed, as I fear that the huge sea waves might carry me away! I am at a beach for the first time in my life; I really fear the ocean after watching some tsunami clips on TV news."

Arjun said lovingly, "don't worry I will take care of you, just hold my hand and experience the breeze, close your eyes... now."

Saniya exclaimed, "God! This is awesome indeed, love it really!" but after some time she realized that it was getting too cold, she said to Arjun, "let's move on to our rooms now, I am really tired enough."

"Can I drop you by car, if you don't mind?" Arjun offered in a courteous manner.

"Sure but where is your car? We have walked down here and the pub is quite far now, don't tell me to walk up again all the way and get your car"

"Saniya, I think you don't know that we can hire a car or bike in Goa at very nominal rates for self-drive. This is a very convenient facility here which is not available at many other cities in India," said Arjun.

"Really, I never knew about this facility and the nominal rates; or else I would have hired a bike the same day when I had arrived in Goa. At least I could have saved the fare which I spent on auto rickshaw & taxi. I was under the impression that hiring a vehicle is quite expensive and also it requires a lot of documents and formalities," she said innocently.

Arjun continued updating her, "well, it's the same way in many other foreign countries too and we have this facility here also. As far as I know, Goa is the only place in India where one can hire any vehicle and drive it by self, of course after depositing a small amount of money and submitting an original ID to the vehicle owner. So let's go and select the car of our choice!"

"Are you sure that we can get a vehicle at this early hour?" Saniya was still not sure about it.

Arjun said, "I am not sure, but no harm in taking a chance you see! Can you see there, that man wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt who is standing by the street side near a car? Come let's go there and check with him whether he can provide us with his car on rent."

Arjun managed to get that car from the man and was now driving it towards the hotel to drop Saniya. He found that she was staying in the Bluestar Hotel on the Penny Lane; very next to Holiday Street where his usual residence flat in Goa was located. He had taken that place on lease for ten years. After dropping her, he was comfortably relaxing in his flat.
