Thunderstrikes.

Deep in the woods, five men stood in a circle, their swords out, and pointed to the ground. In the

middle of the five is a woman clothed in black. Holding what looks like a small cauldron.

The woman is simply known as The Witch of the Five. A member of the Bennett Family.

"Duhovi, ovom vatrom zatovorite krug. Njihoba tela ce umreti, ali njihova misija je vecna."

She chanted, raising the cauldron to the sky to let the lighting hit it. Completing the ritual.

The witch pours the contents to the ground. Fire emits, and it connects to the swords the five

men pointed to the ground. These men are skillful warriors, led by a man named Alexander. A

mark starts spreading at the dorsal face of the right hand. It continues up the arm and across

the chest.

The mark is known as the Hunter's Mark. This mark gave the five men enhanced strength,

enhanced agility, and incredible speed. Something that will help them to go against vampires.

Being able to sense and identify vampires immediately. Of course, they are careful. They won't

attack anyone without proof.

Such a powerful spell overwhelmed the witch. She did this with her dying breath.

This is how The Brotherhood of the Five is born.

Such a ritual to throw off balance to nature did not go unnoticed by the demoness who stays up

above the human world.

The pitter-patter of her imps echoes at her estate as she leisurely rests in her library. "Miss

Stolas! News!" Her imp exclaims, slamming her door open.

Stolas sighs exasperatedly, "Ugh. Must you create such a racket?" She reprimands.

The imp cowers, "Apologize, your grace. But news has spread of a witch using a ritual to

strengthen five humans."

"Hmph! What? Another vampire?" Stolas laughs.

"No, your grace. On the contrary, this spell was performed to stop and kill vampires." The imp

explains, their hands sniveling like a raccoon"Oh?" Now this catches her attention. She hasn't seen those Originals for almost a century now.

But she is never in the dark about what they do. Increasing the population of vampires as they

hide from their father in each country.

Stolas smirked, tapping her chin. "How interesting. Imp!" The imp stands at attention. "Go and

have my spies search for those vampires. Something this interesting only comes in a blue

moon."

The imp bows and scurries away.

'The Brotherhood of The Five was a group of highly skilled vampire hunters. Crossed

paths with them in the 12th Century, Italy'

1114, ITALY.

'My siblings and I had followed the Normans as they conquered the south…feeding,

turning people as we went.'

A crowd gathers in a small village. Among those crowds are Elijah and Niklaus. Years have

gone by and they have now spread and have turned people into vampires as they went.

At the center of the crowd, 4 vampires are staked to the heart and tied to a pole. In the middle,

is a metal box. Locked. And the leader of this warning speaks, "These demons live among

you…passing as human."

'But with the bloodshed came exposure.'

"So witness with your own eyes." The leader takes the lock of the metal box. The front falls and

the man hidden inside steps out. The second the light hits his face he gnashed his teeth in pain.

Stepping further out, the man is engulfed in flames.

This terrifies the audience as monsters have been living among them.

The vampire dies.

"He's putting on quite the show," Elijah commented.

"He is nothing," Niklaus said. "I could eat him for sport."

"Still, you should heed the warning. Between you here and Kol in the east, you have not been

discreet." Elijah scolds. Niklaus smiles in amusement, not taking his warning seriously. "Stories

of The Original Vampires are "I welcome such infamy." Niklaus gloated."If you're worried about discretion, perhaps you should

wrangle our sister."

And truth to that, they see their sister Rebekah receiving a kiss on the hand from the leader of

the man who is out to hunt all vampires and slaughter them. Rebekah wraps her arms around

the leader, Alexander, and they left.

"Ah, so this is where you've all been."

Hearing this voice so many times did not strike the two with fear no longer. They turn around

and see the tall beauty demoness that is Stolas.

Her eyes glow red in amusement.

"What are you doing here?" Elijah sighs exasperatedly.

"How rude. I am merely here to see the show." She gestures to the chard corpse.

"It seems you have met the hunter," Niklaus commented.

"Far from it. I merely heard of the witch and how the ritual brought another imbalance to nature."

Stolas huffs.

"So you're keeping watch. You're not gonna intervene or deal with the problem?" Elijah asked.

"We demons don't interfere with the mortal realm. We merely watch and see how it all plays out.

If the time comes it does bring a problem, well," She chuckles darkly. Reaching her hand out to

play with a strand of Elijah's hair. "I assure you our cleanings are very efficient." Stolas leaves

and as the shadows engulf her. She disappears.

'Alexander. Nice chap, forgoing the obvious issue. He was looking for creatures of the

night…which is why we felt quite safe around him wearing our daylight rings.'

The Mikaelsons invite Alexander to a meal. As a way to watch over him under the guise of

'approving' him for their sister.

"I am unaccustomed to such luxury," Alexander said.

"It's the least we could do to repay you for opening our eyes to the truth," Elijah said. He and

Niklaus share a look. Next to him is their sister Rebekah, who only had her eyes on Alexander.

"Your crusade.Alexander answers, "We are but five men. Bound by fire and the last breath of a dying witch to a

single cause. The destruction of all vampires." Alexander grabs his glass filled with wine and

raised it towards the siblings. He gulps down his drink.

"And how do you hope to achieve this?" Niklaus questions.

Alexander puts his glass down and leans closer, "We have the ultimate weapon, which no

vampire can survive." He answered.

'My sister's suitor was unwilling to tell us anything. Rebekah, however, was more than

willing to investigate.'

One steamy night, Alexander invites Rebekah to his quarters to spend the night in passion.

Alexander lays on his back as Rebekah sits on his legs. Sharing a passionate kiss.

Rebekah pulls away and looks at the tattoos across his chest. Alexander chuckles as she glides

her fingers on each symbol.

"How do you read these symbols?" She asked.

"The map took my brothers and I years to translate. The sword…" Alexander reaches and grabs

his sword. Laying it on where his tattoo is, "...is the key to reading it." He puts it down. "Have you

considered my offer…to come with me when I leave to follow the map?"

Rebekah nods, "I have."

Alexander waits anxiously.

Rebekah smiles, "And I would like that very much."

Alexander smiles from ear to ear. They once again share another kiss. Rebekah stops as her

eyes notice something on the table.

"What is that?" She asked.

Alexander looks, "Oh, that. That is a very special weapon…" It was a dagger. "...for a very

special kind of vampire." He dips the dagger into an unknown liquid. "When my brotherhood has

achieved its destiny…those monsters won't exist. Until then, we have the daggers."

"Do you really believe they are all so evil they must be put down?" Rebekah asked. Wanting if

this man will still love if he were to know the truthAlexander chuckles and merely avoids the question. "Let us not talk of such evil. Let us do this."

He leans forward and they kiss once more. "And this." Their kiss becomes more passionate.

"And this." His lowers from her back. "And this."

Rebekah gasped as she felt a sharp object on her stomach. She looks at Alexander filled with

betrayal.

'My brother's boyfriend through a slumber party that night. He and his brothers put us all

down in our sleep. Elijah, Kol, Finn, and me.'

Fortunately, the dagger did not affect Niklaus because of his other half. Of course, upon

consciousness, he went into a rage and killed every member of The Five. Stabbing them with

the knife they used on vampires. With a special treat to Alexander, he stabbed him hard enough

to pin him up on concrete wall.

Niklaus removes the dagger on his sister's chest and after a while, she regains consciousness.

Gasping for air.

She looks around and sees the mess. Sees her brother in front of her covered in blood.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Ask him." Niklaus grumbles, stepping aside to show her old 'lover' pinned to the wall with a

sword. "Only, he cannot answer because I had ripped out his tongue. Along with the rest of

them."

Rebekah speaks with bathed breath. Fear of her brother's anger. "Nik, I had no idea..."

"But you should have. Your only family was nearly wiped out because of your stupidity." Niklaus

sneers. "What did he promise you?"

"Nothing…Nothing." Rebekah shakes her head. But Niklaus knows when she lies.

"He would not have made a move unless he knew you were vulnerable." Niklaus points out.

Rebekah, seeing her dead lover, brought her to tears. She tries to hide her sniffles with her

hand. "You trusted him…Over me?!" Niklaus roars.

Rebekah trembles. Trying to make herself smaller.

"What did he promise you?" He tries again.

Rebekah denies, "Nothing, Nik, I swear-"

"WHAT DID HE PROMISE YOU?!"Nothing, Nik…" She whimpers.

His patience running thin, Niklaus grabs her roughly by the shoulder, "TELL ME, REBEKAH!"

Rebekah tells him. The end to all vampires.

A cure.

As expected, Stolas loves to watch the problem the Mikaelsons bring to themselves.

"What?" Elijah grumbles, packing.

"I said nothing."

"With how you looked you might as well have," Elijah commented.

Stolas chuckles, "Oh, you were looking at me?"

Elijah breathes heavily through his nose. He says nothing, tossing his bag over his shoulder. "I

merely jest. I am here for a proposition."

With that, Elijah turns around. Interested. Stolas continues. "Your family has been running for so

long. Why not stay in one home with no worries about anything?"

"If such a thing existed we will not be running for so long," Elijah said.

"There is. Stay with me. And you won't have to worry about anything." Stolas said.

Elijah's eyes widened. "And why are you proposing this after telling us long ago, that you didn't

want to do anything with us?"

"That was then and this is now. So? What do you say?" Stolas quirks an eyebrow, her smirk

never diminishing.

"This is our problem. Outsiders shouldn't have to butt in it." With that, he walks away to where

his siblings wait.

Stolas sighs. Not affected by his harsh words. "Oh dear, it seems this will take a while."
