I sighed once I saw Chuck's red face, it hadn't taken me long to connect the dots. The higher gods were onto me and wanted to stop me before I upset the balance of power among them. Death spoke. "I suppose you're here for me then?"
I smiled. "You and Amara. I'll need both of you to complete the transition."
Chuck seemed to calm down when I said that. "So you aren't after me then?"
I shook my head. "While I'm tapped into the light, I'm a god of death and destruction. I could find a use for you, sure, but it would be no more help than any other higher god. I do ask that you stay out of this though."
He nodded slowly. "I'll go release my sister then."
I smirked. "It's only fair that she and death have a chance to win."
Death frowned. "Don't be too cocky. We may not be your match, but there are others that are."
I nodded. "For now. I'm watching them as they watch me. If they move, I'll simply destroy them and myself in an instant, much like the primordial Big Bang."
His eyebrows shot up. "You must have some juice if you're that confident."
I nodded. "I've been preparing for this for eons. It's time I took the next step or I wouldn't have went so far."
I was secretly adding the saiyan DNA, Lobo's and Alucard's to my own. I was almost ready now. The barriers being held in place were shaking and I felt my spirt in the speed force growing rapidly as well. When Chuck came back with his sister, who was giving him the death glare, she looked at me as If she found something precious.
She spoke. "Do you know what you are?"
I snorted. "I'm a god of death. How could I not know?"
She shook her head. "You're like me, you're no more a god of death than I am. Death is merely a byproduct of us. I can feel your hunger the void in you is nearly untapped and on the verge of unleashing itself on us all. I'd say you're even more pure than I am. And far closer to the source of us than most have ever come."
I frowned. "It doesn't change my plans, I'm sorry."
She nodded. "It's our nature. Besides, I haven't had a good fight in a long time."
I grinned and began making invisible holes in reality all over. Chuck looked at me funny and frowned but didn't say anything. Death summoned his reaper hordes a billions of them came out of his realm. I sent a mental message to Ayana and Bonnie to let go of the barriers. The other gods helping backed off as well and I broke my connection to them.
I unleashed a literal hell onto the reapers as black vortex's of fire and darkness formed all over this region of space. I began fighting death and Amara at once while my vortexes consumed the reapers. Death swung his scythe and Amara through her own brand of darkness at me like atomic bombs.
Space shook as we clashed. I made whips of magic fire and darkness while speeding around them and striking them with cosmic lightning. Tears appeared in the lining of this universe where our powers met. All to quickly death lost his scythe into the void that is me.
At first he thought he struck a fatal blow as my blood that was now white gold spewed everywhere. It blew to the far corners of the universe from the blow. But then, it seemed to disappear to their senses as all the droplets fell into the portals I'd made. The scythe sunk into me an my body swallowed it like a vat of quicksand.
He backed away just as I grabbed his arm and tore it off. My darkness began leaking out of me big time now as it consumed his arm and a good portion of his essence. Amara followed up with her full powered attack directly to my chest. My physical body exploded and reformed seconds later as blood poured out of me in all directions.
Her attack became useless against me as my body adapted and grew far stronger. A tail sprouted out of my backside now and my body was now fully altered. I was now a cluster fuck of creatures. Alucard's blood was the last and hardest to integrate and with that last attack, she insured it did so easily.
It took me a moment after I reformed to dispel the crazy shit from Alucard and Lobo's DNA, added on the Pure ancient saiyan DNA and Broly's own mental hang ups he was forming as a baby and the two intent on killing me got in a few good hits.
Death currently had his hand shoved in my chest and the skin around it was decaying. Blood was pouring out of me like a bad anime character's. Amara was busy trying to surround myself and death in her darkness and devour us both.
When I snapped out of it, something in me broke and a tidal wave of darkness poured out along with the blood. Death was consumed instantly as my curse took hold of me. My mind was tossed aside as whatever it was inside me wanted to consume everything.
Amara started cracking apart as her own darkness was pulled in as well. Chuck fled and called for help, when he did so, hundreds of high tear gods came out of reality cracks. The darkness in me tried to fight and devour them as well, but there were simply to many and to well organized. I saw an army of Zeno charging black balls of pure destruction and I knew I was fucked.
Most of my blood was empty now as drops had escaped into a nearly infinite number of universes I'd opened cracks to then closed again. I was on my last legs now and my body seemed to adjust and grow a little stronger from it.
When the higher gods launched their attacks as one, my mind temporarily went blank as that entire universe collapsed. Chuck wailed as he died with it.
Nearby that realty, the prime Supernatural reality was expanding to compensate the loss. As it formed around a single drop of blood, it fell down to the newly created earth. As time sped up and the new Chuck was formed, the sun came into being and a new Amara followed to destroy it. There struggle ended fast as God/Chuck sealed his sister away and gave her key to the Morningstar in the form of a branded mark.
Chuck turned his attention to newer creations like plants and animals. Eventually he moved up to Adam and Eve. When the blood sensed the presence of more nutrients, it stirred but in the end stayed dormant.
The morning star led the rebellion and was cast out of Heaven. The blood stirred once more when it felt the presence of Angelic nutrients and nearly awoke then. But as with all things so far, it was simply to far away for the blood to reach.
After the morning star was cast out, he approached the garden and wormed his way inside. Eve and Adam became corrupted and were cast out.
Time passed in the form of millennia and eventually the blood was fed as humans populated the earth and waged wars. The blood grew into a man that barely recognized who he was. He had no real memories to go off of as his former self hadn't had time to share them with each version it sent out.
As he was the sole survivor of the final attack, he only got the first few thousand years of his old life's memories. He wanted desperately to get back to Bonnie, but had no idea how to do so. He knew he needed sustenance to grow strong though. That much was clear, so he joined the battles and became the warrior once more.
For the next three thousand years he fought in every battle and drank oceans of blood. While it helped, after a while blood simply wasn't enough. He began hunting down murderers and rapists that killed in cold blood and devoured their souls.
He left the battlefield from then on and done his hunts at night. One day he was in need of money and as he thought about it, a gold coin popped out of nowhere. Thinking deeply, he remembered his vaults and what they felt like.
He felt a ring appear on his finger and spoke. "I'm back baby."
I grinned at myself like a fool as my ring dimensions mind caught me up on what happened. I thought about the time line I was in and I grinned. "This is going to be fun."
I frowned as I reached for my realms and found the tethers to them cut off. I linked my mind with my ring and it was just as confused as myself. I felt around and a tail popped out of my backside. "Must be a power requirement or memory thing. My body and soul were nearly wiped out from the blast so it must've injured me severely enough to disconnect me from my realms. To bad I'm not in Smallville it I'd reconnect with the speed force."
I tried out my bodies strength as I atomized a stone with barely any pressure. "So my body's up to speed, now I just need to heal my soul and find out where my curse went."
That's when I felt my overwhelming need for blood. That night I became the flood that wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah. Or nearly anyway. The Angels descended and I hid while they started slaughtering everyone. When they completely walked passed me, I was relieved.
I'm not sure if I'm ready to take them on just yet. When they left and god started the flood, I raised a hand and brought all the blood to me. In one night I devoured two cities of blood. Even then I still felt a never ending hunger. I sank into the sea with the corpses and wondered why God and the Angels seemed blind to me.
Shrugging it off for now, I charged at the sea gods hiding in the depths. I soured them all. Everyone from Poseidon to Cathulu. I ate them all. When I finished and couldn't find any more, I went into a deep meditation. I focused on growing and healing my soul with the essence of the sea gods I'd devoured.
It worked for the most part, but it was more like putting a small band aid on a body full of third degree burns that survived an explosion. I needed something significant and closer to my own powers.
I woke up again and found the world had truly changed again. As far as I can tell, it was the sixteenth century. I sighed and started the hunt once more. For the next couple centuries I hunted the worst mankind had.
I didn't really get any significant improvement until Nazi germany invades Poland. I saw reapers everywhere and decided to try one while the others were busy reaping. I consumed it quickly and I felt an instant difference. I beg and chowing down on the Nazi souls that died and the reapers there for them alike.
It didn't really matter as more just showed up and ignored me like they couldn't even see me. That's when I realized what must've happened. I'm like this universes empty now. My blood must have been there before even the new god came into being and I was glossed over in the making of this universe.
Since I'm like a kink in the fabric itself, everything I effect is made up for by the rest of the universe automatically. From then on the Nazi souls and the reapers both became my smorgasbords. I was at every battle killing Nazi's on the front lines while eating reapers as I went. When the world war finally ended, I was healed a decent amount. It was only about one percent, but for low tier beings to prove so useful to something like me is a miracle in and of itself.
I traveled to America then and joined the Men of Letters. I shared some spells I knew and taught them a few things and they let me in with open arms. I was there when Abaddon slaughtered them all and I watched while invisible as she passed me to go after her prey.
I left the men of letters then and erased all proof that I was ever there before becoming a hunter. I traveled around hunting things and in most cases, consuming them. I ate windigoes' and banshees with sides of shapeshifter and vampire and werewolf.
In the early seventies I stopped by the Campbell's and introduced myself. I made sure to mention the need to find a cure for vampirism. Samuel was happy enough to share it even if it was an old family recipe for a diamond the size of his fist.
I left the same day and blew through town to my next destination. I found a dumb enough cross roads demon to take me to a hell mouth. It thought it'd be able to take my soul up until I devoured it. The woman it was possessing passed out and I sent her to the nearest town with a small spell.
The hellmouth I was currently at was an old abandoned mine shaft. I spread my senses and and ran in. My body blurred for the first time since I regained consciousness. I was at the sealed doors in a matter of seconds. The spell that bound it shut was easy enough to get around and so I slipped inside.
Hell in this universe was pretty bland. It was more like a fortress than a burning pit of darkness. I devoured the few demons I came across on my way to the center of the maze. I found Lilith easy enough once I was there. She was more like a black mass of pustules and sludge than a soul.
I walked right up to her and shoved a hand inside. The mass let out a screech of anguish as I searched her mind of the location of Lucifer's crypts. When I got them all, I erased her mind of me and left as quickly as I came.
On my way out, I saw Lucifer's cage and a hunger like no other took hold of me. Something about him was calling me to feast on him and everything here. I dragged myself away and chalked it up to his essence that was corrupted by the mark.
I lost most of my remaining soul after the last attack from those gods and I could tell an Angel or twenty would be the perfect pick me up. I left hell and went to the crypts for something useful. I found a feather from a Lucifer that I devoured and only made me want more as a balm soothed my aching soul.
I left the useless junk and took his angel blade for a laugh. My next thought was of the hunt to tide me over till it was time for a buffet. I started up again and went all over the US. Eventually I regained enough control to feel my realm again. I couldn't do anything beyond that, but it was enough to get a message to Ayana.
I spent a year in meditation trying to do just that. What I found made me puke blood and roar in anger and pain. I found most of my territory was taken by Osiris. Him and a hand full of other gods had grown stronger and were pressuring Anubis and Hades as they protected the little territory I had left.
When they felt my gaze Anubis spoke. "Osiris betrayed you my lord, he and a few other gods of death have laid siege to your territory. Your wives tried to hold them off, but they were attacked in the physical realm and they've perished. We beg you, hurry and regain your strength, we cannot hold out forever. Once they've finished assimilating your wife's territory, they'll come back to finish us off."
I roared and my voice shook the realms of death and magic. I reached for the one realm no one could take from me and the speed force answered my call. With a simi-solid connection to it, I was officially a speedster again.
I tossed the scythe to Anubis. "Use it to strengthen yourselves. Take his territory and expand. That particular higher god of death was killed by me in battle. Have no fear, there is nothing an no one that can claim his territory. Use it to stave of Osiris and once I've healed, I'll destroy him and the rest and feed them to you."
They bowed and I went back to my body. My tail unwrapped itself from around my waist and began twitching while I thought of ways to get back as fast as possible. I won't believe my wives are dead until I see it with my own eyes.
Until then, I slaughtered my way through the hunts I was on. For the next two decades I became a myth and legend among the hunters as I never showed my face on hunts and I never missed. I stopped by the Roadhouse for random hunts every few years and stayed clear of the Winchesters.
I did get to do a few hunts with Bobby Singer and his on and off again partner Rufus Turner. Though they were a little too fly by the seat of their pants for me. The one and only time I ever met John Winchester was at the Roadhouse when he was trying to convince Bill to do a hunt with him.
Bill tried to hand it off to me and I told him. "He's to green and desperate to find something for me. He's got a chip on his shoulder a mile wide. You want him, you take him."
John tried to smart off but Bill pulled him back saying. "You don't want to piss him off. Most of everyone in this bar owes him their lives. He's one of the pros John. He won't ask for help when he beats you to death. They just won't help you either."
I finished my whisky and cursed myself for not being able to get drunk. I stood up and tossed a couple hundred on the table and asked Ellen. "Love, you got any new jobs for me, I'm itching for something to hunt, I'll take everything not already claimed."
She smiled and took my glass and the tip. "I'll get the files."
I ignored John and spoke to the crowed. "I'll take one stubborn son of a bitch that can shoot straight and won't piss himself."
Buck, an old hunter that was right up there with the Samuel Campbell in age if he were still alive, walked forward. "I ain't got anything on the cards today. What we huntin first?"
I waved a hand at the stack of files Ellen came out with. "Dealers choice. I could give a rats ass. But once we start we finish."
He nodded and took the files Ellen handed over. I passed her a couple grand. "For the hard work you've clearly done."
She thanked me and I left with Buck. We hunted a pack of werewolves eating human hearts in Nebraska before shooting over to New York for a shapeshifter then down to Florida for a pack of black dogs. Buck was untouched when we finished the last case of a haunting in Kentucky.
I dropped him off at the Roadhouse after six months on the road. Ellen was a mess when I arrived. She told me about Bill and I sighed. "Poor bastard. I told him his partner was too green."
I hugged her and told her. "I'll stick close by for awhile and take more local hunts. Once you've found yourself again I'll head out for some of the farther away stuff. I stuck around the area for seven years helping Ellen run the bar and doing local hunts. Once Jo was raised enough, she started helping her mother tend the bar herself.
When she did, Ellen had me crack a few heads when she found the hunters trying out pickup lines on her daughter. After the first six were sent to the hospital, word got out that Jo was untouchable by anyone with a brain.
Satisfied, Ellen thanked me with a hug just before I left for the long hunts again. I could tell she was happy to see me finally go as she'd picked up on my lack of aging a while back. She let bygones be as I was hunting only supernatural creatures.
I did see Sam and Dean a few times over the years and made myself scarce when they tried to live there. I didn't want that kind of attention on me as I knew Michael and God had their eyes on the boys.
I posted copies of the cure for vampirism on the tac board along with the requirements before I dropped a hundred grand and took the files Ellen and Jo had prepared for me. "For the room and board over the years."
Ellen looked mutinous until I sighed. "And keeping my secret. I know you've put two and two together, and I can tell it bothers you. All I can say is I'm immortal. No weapon made or spell cast could kill me. I'm just happy you never told anyone."
Ellen pulled me aside. "What are you?"
I smiled sadly. "I'm many things to many people. But if you're looking for a title, I was once called the Heretic god. Or the white wolf god. I was like Prometheus to humans once, but that was mostly because I started out as a human, or mostly anyway. That's all I'll say."
She nodded. "If-"
I smiled and tapped my ring. A necklace with a piece of my hair in it came out. I passed it to her. "Pray to the wolf god and I'll answer if I'm still in this world. I could once do many things. If one day you need protection, or healing, pray and I'll be there. Bill was a good man to have at your back and I miss him. It's the least I can do."
She took it and put it on while I turned and left. I drove to Oklahoma and devoured a couple vampires before heading to Louisiana and brawling a berserker to death. I devoured it as well. Over the years I'd been mostly in meditation when I wasn't helping or on short hunts. I'd been able to heal my soul by five percent over that time and now it was about time I stepped up my game.
I began with Chicago. I used my senses to find all the hiding supernaturals there and sifted through them to the killers. I ate good that day. Nearly eighty percent of the supernatural presence in Chicago disappeared over night.
I went to Washington state and worked my way down. I made sure to skip those the boys would eventually get to as I hunted. All along the eastern seaboard hundreds of beings ranging from gods to ghosts were devoured.
It raised a ruckus in the supernatural community for a while as I worked my way to Texas then back up through the states like I was sweeping the board clean. Nothing that hunted humans was spared except those the boys would eventually get.
As I devoured more and more of them, my soul was refining and healing itself with the souls I devoured. I cleared out haunted places and ghoul dens like a clean sweep. It took months, bordering on years, but I didn't stop. At least, not until I got a prayer from Ellen asking me to bring Jo home safely.
I sensed where Jo was and teleported from my finished hunt in Miami Florida. I found her in a locked box with a ghost taunting her. I grabbed the ghost and devoured it before turning to her. She was wide eyed now. "Alex, how did you get here?"
I ripped her cage open. "Your mother sent me. Leave here and tell the boys to bury this place in concrete. What I did won't last forever."
Ok, that was a lie but I wasn't about to tell her I could eat spirits. I made a salt circle and once we stepped on the other side of it, I made an illusion of the same ghost I ate. It beat at an invisible barrier. She cursed at it and taunted it.
I scowled. "You're still too green. Don't taunt what you can't kill or it may kill you if it gets angry enough."
That shut her up. She took off down the tunnel to get the boys and I teleported to Ellen. She happened to be getting off a plane near them. She jerked at my presence before calming down. "Is Jo safe?"
I nodded. "It was a ghost and a nasty one at that. I found it tormenting her in a locked box trying to induce fear before it finished her off. The ghost is trapped and she's free. As long as she does as I told her, no one will run across it for a very long time."
She nodded. "Thank you! I didn't expect it to work."
I chuckled. "Most prayers are never answered by the big God. At least, not in the way you want them to. I on the other hand always answer the prayers to me, so long as it's not something entirely stupid. I'm going to continue my hunts now. Be sure to teach your daughter not to taunt things that can kill her. I had half a mind to let it try again just to set her straight. She reminds me to much of John as she is."
Ellen looked pissed but not at me, I teleported back to Florida and continued my hunts. I steered clear of the Alpha species as I didn't want to influence the future to much and miss out on the stuff I needed. I did happen to pick up the angel tablet, with it, I was able to track down the others and even the location of the vault in the earth's core.
That's one of the reasons I was now heading to Iraq. After I finished off the ghoul hunt, I trekked to the middle of the desert lands and did an excavation. Not exactly my favorite place to do so, but it did come with a good sun bath.
I found the leviathan tablet under some muck that had been there since the tablet itself was hidden there. It took a couple minutes to dig up and when I finally had it, I was covered in dirt and sand. I left the desert with a quick teleport and found myself a shower. After a few consecutive showers and an extra cleaning spell. I felt clean again.
I went to Miami and continued my hunt for a pair of Vetala that we're eating their way through some high class clientele. I found them munching on their latest victim. Since I was to late to save him, I devoured them and left the room as it was. The locals can think what they want. They'll probably chalk it up to the Florida Man scene anyway.
I traveled the breath of Florida and took out a few rugaru and a trickster before heading north again. It wasn't but a few months when I got another prayer from Ellen. I was still in Georgia when she did it. I dropped the witch case and teleported to her.
I found her outside the Roadhouse. "What happened?"
She shook her head." I don't know, can you fix it?"
I waved a hand and time flowed backwards for the Roadhouse, I didn't bring back the dead,I only reversed the physical damage of the building. I walked ahead of her and saw the bodies. "Ellen, this was done by demons. Each one of them have hellfire marks on them."
She spoke up. "Ash!"
I followed her as she passed me running to the pool table. Twelve hunters died very painfully and it looked like one even got to some holy water only to die in vain. Ash was literally in burnt pieces on the pool table.
Ellen looked at me hopeful and I sighed. "He's in Heaven, and yes it exists. I can bring him back, but it will be torturous for him if I do so. In Heaven there's no pain for human souls, but here, it'll be like forcing him to relive everything over and over again for as long as he lives. Are you sure you want that?"
She cried for a minute before steeling herself. "No, if he's at peace, let him be."
I nodded and waved a hand. His body was put back together and healed. She looked at me and I sighed. "For the funeral. I know it's silly, but a hunter deserves to be whole when they go out."
She turned and saw I'd done the same to everyone else. She sighed. "Think you can build the pyres, I need to make a few calls."
I nodded. "Take your time, so long as I'm here, it would take the devil himself to harm you."
She raised an eyebrow and I nodded before getting to work. I repaired the whole bar before going outside and building pyres. Some time later Sam, Dean, Bobby, Rufus and Jo showed up at scattered intervals. All thirteen pyres were finished by sundown out back of the Roadhouse.
I set the last body on and took the bottle Ellen offered. She started lighting each of them on fire as she said their names. I raised my bottle of Jack and downed it after she finished. I turned to see Bobby and Rufus staring at me. I sighed and waved my hand, the pyres burned brighter and hotter then ever before. In moments it was over and only ash was on the ground.
Rufus had his gun out and pointed at my head. "I've got some some witch killing bullets right here."
I chuckled. "Rufus, I'm not a witch. Go ahead, empty the clip into me, you'll see."
Dean frowned. "What are you then?"
I sighed. "An old god waiting to either grow in strength again or die off finally."
I walked away from them and Dean fires the colt into the back of my head. The bullet flattened against my skin and fell down. I caught it and Dean by the throat when I turned around. "Dumb ass! You'd do something like this at a funeral? You're as reckless as John!"
I dropped him on his ass and flicked the bullet to Sam. When he caught it, it was fixed and ready to be fired again. He looked really confused. "How?"
I continued to walk back to the bar for another bottle. When they joined me, I'd turned on the jukebox and Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead or Alive was playing. I glamoured the shit out of the bar and put up so many barriers even Chuck would have a hard time getting through to listen in. And even then, I'd know about it.
I sat at the larges table with a bottle of Jack and some rum for when I finished that. Ellen came in telling them about me and stopped when she saw me sitting alone. I raised my bottle and she grabbed some beers before joining me. The others followed suit a few at a time.
Sam was the first to say something. "So what's it like being a god?"
I bit back. "What's it like being a psychic demon blood junkie."
He held up his hands in surrender. Dean frowned. "Why didn't the colt kill you?"
I turned to him and shrugged. "Because I'm hard headed?"
He bit out. "That's not an answer!"
I chuckled. "Then you're not getting one. But the next time you shoot me with your little pea shooter, I won't give you back the bullet the same way. You'll piss it out next time."
His eyes went wide and Jo laughed. The tension in the room eased and Bobby reached for my whisky, I snorted. "Get your own, I payed ten grand for this bottle and I plan on finishing it."
Ellen frowned. "Ten grand?"
I pointed to the bar where I left a stack of cash. Rufus reaches for my rum and my eyes changed as I growled. His movement stopped dead and I pulled it back. "There's a diamond the size of your head on the to shelf where I got this from. Take it from me and you'll wake up bare assed in Guantanamo."
He pulled back as if I slapped him and everyone looked to the bar. I'd left an uncut Arkenstone on the top shelf. They each stared at it for a while before Ellen asked. "Where'd you get it?"
I smiled. "I robbed a dragon for it. I stole an entire mountains worth of gold and jewels as well. It's called a-"
Sam cut me off. "Arkenstone."
I nodded. "Correct."
Sam turned to me. "But that's impossible, that's only in a fantasy book."
I chuckled. "All fiction as a little bit of truth wrapped inside it. It's true it's impossible for this reality, but there are an infinite number of realities out there. I hopped over to Tolkien's reality and put Smaug to sleep before stealing from him. In fact, I enjoyed doing it so much that I did it to alternate versions of the same reality twenty eight times. I mean really, you can only rob Fort Knox so many times before it becomes bland. And when you can go wherever and whenever you want-"
He looked to me in true wonder now. "But that would mean-"
I grinned before shaking my head. "I can't do it anymore, I'm still wounded and I'm only at ten percent of my souls full strength. I'm sure I could leave this reality, but as it is, I'd have no clue where I'd end up. I need time to heal, and if I can get it, energy."
He frowned. "What kind of energy?"
I shrugged. "Souls, magic, demonic, life force. You name it and it'll help. The only problem is the lower the grade, the more I need. It would take the energy of several Suns to heal me one percent. Once I am healed, I'd be willing to take all those willing to go, with me. This world is screwed either way, all I want is to leave it before disaster strikes."
Sam looked to Dean. "Imagine, no more hunting."
Dean spoke up. "I like hunting. It's apart of who I am."
I chuckled. "There are other worlds out there with cheap booze and loose women Dean. And there's always something to fight. Who knows, maybe you'll become a god in your own right. I wasn't always one myself."
Ellen asked. "What were you before?"
I sighed. "Many things. But I was born a human, I became so much more over time. You'll each have a chance if you want once I'm healed again. I'll even be able to extend your lives indefinitely until you decide what it is you want to be."
Bobby asked. "How were you injured?"
I chuckled. "Other Gods stronger than myself didn't like that I was breaking the status quo. They came together and attacked me. The fallout destroyed a reality. I was nearly destroyed and thanks to a special part of me, the same attack or weaker won't be able to kill me again."
I unfurled my tail and it popped out the back of my shirt and came around. I wrapped it around Rufus's wrist as he was trying to sneak my Rum again. He looked at me freaked a little. I let go and wrapped it around the rum. "Like I said, I became lots of things. The only thing that holds you back from becoming strong enough to break a planet with a flick of your finger is your imagination. Imagine the ability to come and go throughout all of time. I've met Bon Jovi and Ozzy on several different worlds. I've hunted demons and gods alike on just as many. There are normal safe worlds as well, I can build spaceships and fly if I want to. And it all started with my imagination. I met my wives-"
I took a swig while they took it all in. "You don't have to answer now, just whenever you decide either way, let me know. I'll keep healing either way and leave this place when I'm strong enough. I'll offer one last time then."
I finished my Jack and brought the rum to my lips with my tail. It looked weird to them, but I needed to start practicing with it any way. I'd been to focused on healing and it was time to start training again after so long. I'd avoided looking at the moon all this time for a damn good reason. If I went wild, I'd destroy the universe in seconds.
Even not at full power, planets were nothing and stars were little more than chewables to my great ape. Though I had to wonder if it was a great ape or wolf or something in between.
Shaking my head at the thought, I turned my vision inwards then upwards as I let my avatar ascend completely for the first time in a long time. A fierce battle was raging between my two loyal protectors and the traitorous faction.
When Anubis saw me, he looked relieved. "Oh thank gods you're back, hurry, help us take out the small fries and we'll be able to equal them."
I grinned. "We'll do more than that!"
I attacked while Anubis held off Osiris and Hades fought off a group of slightly weaker gods then himself. Deaths scythe really boosted their abilities but the other side ate through most of my previous domain and Ayana's.
With the thought of my wives having been killed, I roared and started a slaughter. I ripped apart the lower gods in moments and feasted on them. They couldn't even fight back properly as every blow they landed, struck my devouring curse.
I swallowed the weak gods whole and it was just what the doctor ordered. My soul took a turn for the better as I continued my rampage. Once the small fries were gone, I moved to the group attacking Hades. I had to be more careful with them, as I was currently weaker than them slightly.
I threw energy like Zeno once threw at me and they seemed to disintegrate under it. Hades took the upper hand and we began slaughtering them together. Osiris fled to his territory and Anubis moved to help us finish them off. I left the dead gods essence to Anubis and hades as I focused on expanding my territory again. I reclaimed most of what I'd lost with only fifteen percent of my current souls strength.
I trusted Hades and Anubis to watch my back as I ventured into my wife's old territory that was mostly abandoned now. Without the others to help him, Osiris couldn't hold most of it anymore. I found where her link was originally connected and scoured it with my senses.
After a long while, I felt a small glimmer of a weak pulse. I called the other two over and they guarded me while I sent my consciousness into the link. I opened my eyes and found her and Bonnie in the stargate universe. The battle they waged was two fold.
It seems a few gods tried to attack both their physical and spiritual bodies at once. They abandoned one to preserve the other. The stargate universe was a wreck and on the downward slope of collapse. Ayana sensed me and I was able to reforge our connection albeit temporarily.
I told her everything I knew as quickly as I could. She told me their side as well. Several Zeno's came through and although she and Bonnie won, the universe was damaged. They didn't have enough strength to leave it themselves.
I suggested the doorway I'd received long ago from the Buffy universe. They'd already placed everyone in the vaults only it wasn't connecting to mine since I broke our link before. I told her of my memory problem and she reassured me she'd share hers once they found me again.
With the doorway in mind, she had me leave so they could make the jump. I went back to the domain of death and told the other two the good news. They seemed far more relieved than ever before. We each moved our territories around her connection so the other gods would need to go through us to finish her off.
After that was done, I left them to their meal and went to the magic domain. When the goddesses saw me, they backed away slowly. There weren't many gods or goddesses of magic, so each reality tended to duplicate the same ones over and over again. Each had varying personalities and looks but most went by the same names.
When I found the ruins of Bonnie's domain, a Hecate came over and apologized. "I'm sorry, but there were just to many. Morgan Le Fay was destroyed and Isis is severely injured. We held them off long enough for her to retreat, but they still destroyed her power bases. I doubt she'll ever be able to return without powerful resources and backings of her own. Even your territory was laid to waste as you can see."
I nodded. "Do you know who all was behind it?"
She nodded. "A far older Isis and couple Baba Yaga's. Their territory is vast and deep within the domain. To far for us to risk traveling to as we are."
I nodded. "Very well, heal yourself and when I'm fully healed, I'll be able to branch out into both domains equally. Once Bonnie is back again, I'll give you the location of a few relics from realities untapped as of yet."
She looked at me gratefully and left while I moved my connection next to Bonnie's. I put up a small barrier around our connections to warn me at least, when they come back. It wasn't much, but it was the best I could do at the moment.
I descended back into my body and noticed the group was looking at me funnily. When I turned to Ellen she told me. "You zoned out and we couldn't wake you."
I shrugged. "I was checking on my domains, my link to godhood as it were. I was attacked in both the physical and spiritual realms and I'm still recovering. I went to help out in the spiritual domain as I was under siege. The two gods that sided with me were losing so I tipped the scales in our favor. Twenty three weak gods just died and seven moderately powerful ones fell as well. My allies are feasting on their energy as we speak."
I raised the rum bottle. "To small victories."
Rufus cheered now that he had his own bottle. Early that morning as most of them were passed out, I offered Ellen to put up demon wards and barriers that'd stop everything short of the divine. She took me up on that and I began putting up everything short of god barriers.
When I finished I warned her. "It'll stop everything short of a celestial attack. That means demons and hellhounds and even those things you call gods won't be able to enter. Down side is it won't stopped humans that are payed to kill everyone inside. Another upside though is it can take a missile strike like a champ."
She smiled. "Thanks, I really appreciate it hun."
I shrugged. "No problem, just remember, if you need me-"
She smiled. "I'll pray."
I nodded and teleported to Georgia and picked up where I left off. The witches I'd been hunting were sacrificing innocent people to demons for favors. When I finished them off, I scanned the country and found something strange. It seems every creature I've killed over the past five odd years has been replaced.
I rubbed my eyes and decided on a different tactic. I teleported to Sam and Dean, who happened to be on the road. I ended up in their backseat. "Sorry about the drop in, but I'd like to give you both something."
Dean swerved the car for a moment before righting it again. "Don't do that!"
I chuckled and handed them two necklaces over the seat with a wolf pendant and a strand of my hair on it. "I came to offer my help if you should get in over your heads. Send a chant if you need something. I'm giving them to Bobby and Rufus as well."
Sam asked. "How does the chant go?"
I smiled. "Same as any normal prayer, just say Heretic god instead of God. I'll answer to that or wolf god, doesn't matter which. I'd wear them in case of stray bullets as well. It won't stop the bullet completely, but it'll heal most physical wounds decently enough."
With that, I teleported out and to my own truck. I decided to put the Angel tablet back and keep the Leviathan one in the bunker. I didn't really need them anyway.
Every now and then I felt a small prayer come through from Sam for me to stop his brothers deal. I sent him a psychic message saying I couldn't as he damned himself completely to save his brother. In reality I wasn't quite ready to face Chuck again.
He may be weaker than me, but he's just a clone from a much stronger god. I don't want to risk pissing of the original until I'm healed. I spent the next six months in the bunker getting use to my body and strengthening my tail. Goku had the right idea, cutting the damn thing off would be way easier.
I squeezed it once and it felt like I was getting a thunderbolt shoved up my ass! I started with some light gravity training of about two million times earths pull. My tail was all but useless so I had to stop. Then I switched it up to weight lifting with just my tail itself while my body was focused on going through the stages of super Saiyan.
It took awhile to tap into that kind of strength as I had to put myself in a special trance to induce waking nightmares of my family being murdered. I made sure to go inside my vault for it and even then, I had to increase the dimensions strength several fold.
When I finally achieved legendary super Saiyan, I spent every waking moment as one. The strain was just mental either. If I didn't have nearly infinite stamina thanks to my body, I'd be on the floor in a puddle of sweat after the first day, and dead after the second. Once my body adjusted and it felt normal, I pushed it farther.
I ended up an ascended legendary super Saiyan so powered down to normal Legendary super Saiyan. It took me a month to get it right and find legendary super Saiyan two. I spent another month getting used to it before I felt normal again. The big hang up I found for most people that've tried the Saiyan way is the emotional and mental strain it takes out of you.
I didn't feel much of it as I'd had my senses and emotions heightened for eons. Once I felt normal, I dug deep and pulled out all of my reserve strength. Every last bit of the energy in my enhanced S-cells was drawn out to the point where the room trembled a little. My hair grew longer and I achieved legendary super Saiyan three. The strain was immense physically.
My body felt like it was on fire and truly alive for the first time ever. I was using everything it had to offer at once. I have no doubt I'd destroy the pocket dimension if I do much as tapped my toes. I hovered there and began meditating there. Time was irrelevant in this room so it was pointless to try and understand it.
Eventually I felt as if I could keep this state indefinitely. When I opened my eyes, I made a mirror come forth and found myself as a regular looking Legendary super Saiyan. At first I was confused as I knew I was Legendary super Saiyan three until I remembered that if one mastered super Saiyan, it went further than it's counterparts.
I felt as if I had the absolute control I had over my Kryptonian powers. I felt practically no strain any more. That's when I knew I had to stop as I couldn't try for super Saiyan four till I was in another universe. I most certainly wasn't going to destroy my pocket dimension for a trial run at the ozaru form.
I powered down and left my time room. Once outside hunger racked my body. I went to the nearest store and emptied shelves of food into carts before heading to the closest fast food restaurant. The workers were dead tired by the time I left. They were looking at me as if I were Godzilla.
Oh well, I left them a ten grand tip on a ten dollar buffet meal. I went to the bunker and continued to cook and eat for the rest of the day. When I ran out of food, I made a call to the local pizzeria and went on a trip with my truck. I had to order six hundred pizzas with everything on them.
With my added Saiyan appetite came the indifference of taste buds. Anchovies and olives with pineapple and barbecue was all in now. I ate everything that had a remote taste to food in my quest to fill my hunger. Eventually, I was finally less hungry. That's when it hit me. If I don't heal soon, I'm going to end up eating this town out of food.
With that thought, I teleported from the bunker that was now full of empty pizza boxes. I went around the world to Italy and prayed John Pinette was right about the restaurants here.
I found a decent restaurant and told the waiter. "Sono affamato."
He smiled and went to the back. Next thing I knew he and five others were bringing out trays for days. I chowed down while he took my order. I simply told him to tell the cook to fix everything until they ran out or I got full.
Six hours later, I left the restaurant with the promise to come back some time. I tipped the water in gold bars and diamonds. He looked at me incredulously like I was an Italian Godzilla. I felt great. I was no longer hungry enough to stay in Italy, so I grabbed a couple Italian ice cream cones and teleported home.
A week later I felt a prayer coming from Sam, he was asking for help. "Heretic god, we need some help here. We're trapped."
I teleported to him and I found myself in the middle of a police precinct. "You bring me to the most charming places. So-"
I looked around to the cops and back to the brothers. "What's the problem? Need me to bust you out of this place?"
Sam shook his head. "We're surrounded by demons."
I shrugged and sat down on someone's desk. "And? Unless you're trying to test my patience, I'd like to know what you want me to do. Take you away, beat the demons, ball park it for me."
Dean spoke up. "You said you needed energy to heal, I'm thinking demons have a lot of it."
I nodded. "So you brought me here for a meal, how thoughtful. I'll be right back."
I teleported to the roof and scanned the area before coming back inside. "There's a little over thirty of them."
The FBI agent asked. "Can you beat them?"
I looked at him like he was stupid. "You must be new. Yes I can beat them, easily."
Sam asked. "What's the problem then?"
I chuckled. "One of them knows you and is about to come inside."
At my words, a crash sounds and they all turn to see what it was. "Tell her to piss off unless she feels like being lunch as well."
Sam and Dean went to check on their pet demon and everyone else but me followed. I looked around and did a little snooping. A few minutes later they came back with said demon. I made sure she couldn't perceive me but the rest could.
I was currently in the chair the Secretary was sitting in before, twiddling my thumbs and playing with her rosary. The demon in question was looking around. "So where is this big shot god you were talking about?"
I tapped a finger on my lips and they looked at me funny. "She can't perceive of me unless I want her to. I'm not a fan of the demon persuasion unless they're my food."
Dean spoke up. "Then by all means eat up."
Sam stopped him. "Dean, she's a friend."
He shook his head. "Not mine she ain't."
I chuckled and stood up before pressing the rosary to Ruby's forehead and making myself visible to her. She backed away and I smiled. "Dean says I can eat you. Sam disagrees. Break the draw here, do I rip you out of that vessel and eat what passes for your soul or do I let you go and you piss off while I enjoy my meal that's waiting outside?"
She backed up a few feet and said. "Screw this, I'm out of here."
She turned to Sam. "Help a girl out?"
I ignored them and told Dean. "Break the salt lines and devils traps. Let the demons in and I'll eat all those dumb enough to show up."
The Secretary asked. "What'll happen to the people they're in?"
I shrugged. "If they're already dead they'll stay that way. If they're alive in there then they'll wake up with a headache when it's over. Either way they'll be demon free."
Sam helped Ruby leave and Dean had the rest breaking salt lines and traps. Once they were done, they came back. Dean asked. "So what now?"
I held up a pinch of salt and blew on it. It formed and multiplied into a salt circle in the center of the room. "Step inside and enjoy the show."
They all did so just as the demons started running in. Those that got within ten feet of me froze. When all that were coming in did so, I froze them all and stopped my fingers. In one moment thirty demons were expelled out the mouths of their victims. A rolling black mass was floating around the ceiling. "A pity there aren't more of you. Oh well."
I opened my mouth and waved a hand. They all came pouring in like a good soup. My soul started refining them immediately. They healed me a little, but there simply wasn't enough of them. The humans had passed out on the ground before I finished my meal.
When I was done I closed my mouth and told them. "Only missed two demons and one of them was your friend. Oh well, thanks for the meal."
The FBI agent asked. "And you aren't possessed?"
I snorted. "Something so weak has no power over me, kid. Now, any party favors before I go?"
The deputy spoke. "Can you bring the dead ones back?"
I sighed. "Fine, but that's enough out of you."
I snapped my fingers and drew their souls back to their bodies. I waved a hand and healed them before turning to the FBI agent. "Your friend is going to have to stay dead. He's been gone for about a month now anyways."
He nodded slowly and I turned to Sam and Dean. "Anything else before I go?"
They shook their heads and I tossed the FBI agent a prayer necklace. "You'd make a damn good hunter if you want to. Say a prayer to me if you decide to try it. I go by the Heretic god or wolf god. Dealers choice."
I teleported back to the bunker and took a nap. A couple hours later I heard an urgent prayer and teleported back to the police precinct. I found a possessed little girl torturing them. With a wave of my hand I teleported her and the demon she was with to an abandoned church in California.
I healed the humans and sat down. "So, which one of you called?"
Agent Henriksen spoke up still coughing on his blood a little. "I did. Thanks for the save."
I nodded. "So, what did you want? Are you going to become a hunter?"
He stood up straight and sighed. "I was praying for help with the demon. But yeah, I think I will."
I nodded. "Well, when you quit the FBI work, give me a prayer and I'll teach you the ropes. Till then, I suggest you not be here when the demon gets back. I sent her to an abandoned church in California. It won't take her but a few hops to get back here. Might I suggest carrying holy water and remembering an exorcism or two in the meantime."
I snapped my fingers and canteens of holy water appeared on the table. "It'll make them hurt if nothing else."
Agent Henriksen asked. "Can't you do what you did last time?"
I shook my head. "Other gods are watching as well. If I eat the first demon ever made, they'll find out about me and a war that would destroy this planet will erupt. It's best i not touch her. Hence I suggested you leave this place and learn a few prayers. Unless you want to come with me that is. It's safe there and very spacious."
Nancy, the Secretary, asked. "What's so safe about where you live?"
I smiled. "Well, for one, other gods can't see into it while I'm there, so if anything does come there, it's lunch."
Looking at their expressions I chuckled. "Except guests of course. Besides, it's warned against demons, all demons."
Nancy stood up. "I'll go!"
Agent Henriksen sighed. "I'll go to. Let me make a few calls to HQ and I'll see about quitting the FBI."
I waved a hand and they each were tattooed with pentagrams. Another wave and angel wards were carved on their bones. They yelled in pain for a second. "Sorry about that, I just made you invisible to lesser beings. Nothing can possess you unless you let it now as well. Safety precaution. Leave the praying to God here with you unless it's me your praying to. The other guy and I don't get along and I'm not up for a fight at the moment."
Henriksen made his calls and I teleported them to the bunker. I put a compulsion spell on the rest of the precinct they'd forget us and want to go on vacation. By the time Lilith made her way back there, the precinct was empty. I watched as she destroyed it in her impotent rage.
Chuckling, I headed back to the bunker where they were settling in. "Destroy your phones, all your contacts and information can be retrieved later. While this place is a dead zone for supernaturals, humans could still trace a call to here."
I showed them around and told them to stay out of certain rooms and the reasons why. "Some of these rooms have artifacts in them that are highly dangerous for your health. I won't stop from going in, but I'd suggest you learn what it is you're dealing with before you do intend to deal with it. The file rooms you're free to go through at your leisure and learn anything you please. Knowledge isn't forbidden here, it's recommended. Henriksen, I'll begin your training at 0800. For now, grab a meal in the cafeteria and find a room to sleep in. I have things to take care of while you to settle in."
And take care of I did. I got rid of the crap TVs and outdated tracking and computer systems. I brought everything up to date for me. Crystal tech replaced the old systems and TVs. The cots were replaced with high tech memory beds and even the ventilation was replaced. I warded everything from everything out there. By the time I was done, even Chuck would have a hard time getting in here.
Nothing demonic could set foot in here without extreme pain that would bring even a prince of hell to its knees. Angels would be fine for the most part, but they would still have to be able to find this place first. I scoured the globe for artifacts to refill this places coffers while I was at it.
I filled the armory with weapons I had left over from the stargate universe as well as some items from the Buffy verse. The orbs of Nezzla'Khan were the strongest things in the room at the moment. I labeled everything and their uses before heading to the kitchen.
I started replacing everything with new tech in there as well. When I was done, I went to the garage and replaced all the tools there along with adding a few cars I'd kept in my vault for fun. I added wards to them as well and practically made them indestructible.
Moving on to my room, I made a few additions to the room itself. It was now carpeted with warm shag carpet and my bed was changed to Egyptian cotton with silk sheets. The Egyptian cotton mattress was given memory foam like qualities.
I had my own personal bathroom remodeled to fit a hot tub and and jacuzzi along with a shower. When I finished, I grabbed myself a hot shower and layer down to let my body rest while I went to check on the girls. When I got to the death domain realm, I dived my senses into Ayana's tether.
What I found made me smile. They'd not only gotten out of the stargate reality, they'd arrived at the charmed reality. They made themselves the charmed ones neighbors and were using the nexus in secret to heal themselves. Although it was a powerful magical relic, it was still difficult to control and use to heal so it was slow going.
I sent them the feeling of my love and approval before I left. I noticed Chloe was with them as well so all was good. I went to check on Bonnie's connection and found her domain regrowing slowly. Ayana and Chloe's own domain of magic were slowly growing as well along side hers.
With a smile, I went back to my body and actually got some sleep. The next morning I woke up and took Henriksen to fill out his paperwork with the bureau. When he finished, I left with him under the watchful gaze of some clearly possessed people.
He'd filled out the report for Sam and Dean's death along with his paperwork with HR for his quitting. When we got back to the bunker, I made a training room full of illusions and scenarios and his training began in earnest. While he was busy with that, I taught Nancy self defense and how to wield weapons.
A couple months later I got a prayer from Bobby and showed up with my two new official hunters. They'd both become a team now and were pretty decent. They'd just finished up an Acheri hunt when I pulled them along for a teleport out.
We appeared before Bobby and the wonder twins. The boys were stunned, Dean spoke first. "Henriksen, is that you? We thought you were dead!"
The ex-agent turned hunter shook his head with a smile. "Na, Alex here saves our collective asses. Lilith did show up though. He just sent her away and healed us. Been teaching us to hunt ever since."
Nancy spoke up. "Hey Sam, hey Dean. It's good to see you again."
I chuckled. "Now that you're all caught up, suppose it's time you tell us why you prayed?"
Bobby spoke up. "We got a lead on Lilith. We were hoping for the big guns on this one. We think if we kill Lilith, Dean's contract will be halted."
I snorted. "That's not how it works, and I'm sorry but I can't interfere. These two can help though, they're not as green anymore."
Sam frowned. "What do you mean that's not how it works?"
I sighed. "Sure Lilith May hold Dean's contract, and in theory she could negate it, but killing her won't do that. Deans contract is with hell itself. The holder of the contract is the only one that can negate it, but their death only means it'll be passed on to another inhabitant of hell."
They each frowned now and Dean sighed while Sam spoke. "Then we force her to break it. We capture her and torture her into breaking it."
I snorted. "Lilith's usual body is that of a little girl. Are you prepared to go that far? And keep in mind demons can hide in the subconscious while the little girl would be left to feel the agony you do to her."
They each paled now. I sighed. "Whatever you do, I won't interfere either way. Just know I think you're idiots."
I walked over to Bobby's cabinet where he kept his glasses. I pulled a bottle of Jack out of the storage vault and poured us some glasses. I asked curiously. "Do you happen to have a way to kill demon anyway? Other than me of course?"
Bobby looked back to the boys as I passed out drinks. Sam spoke up. "Yes, we-"
Dean cut him off. "No Sam! Damnit!"
Sam continued anyway. "We know of a knife that can do it. Only problem is, it's with a demon."
I shrugged. "Make the call. Trap the demon and take the knife, shouldn't be too awful hard."
Sam went to make the call with Dean's help. An hour later Bobby brought them back with the knife. I took it from them. "Interesting, it uses their demonic energy against them. Nice craftsmanship though a little gaudy. Nancy, Victor, knives please."
The set their regular combat knives on the table. I did a copy spell and transferred copies of the spells onto each of their knives. "There, now we have three demon killing blades."
Bobby spoke up. "Can you make more just like that?"
I shrugged. "Sure, I don't see why not. Do you happen to have any spare knives. It'll work on everything bigger than a steak knife."
Ten minutes later Bobby had every knife he owned on his table. And damn we're there a lot! I waved a hand and did a massive copying and transference spell on them all before tossing the original to Dean. "Have fun with that. Though I should warn you, each of the copies only has a hundred year shelf life on them. The original is made with special materials I don't currently have access to. Best I could do."
Bobby smiled like he'd won the Super Bowl and I snorted. "Don't be too happy, they only work on demons. To anything else, they're just knives."
Bobby still smiled a little and started putting most of them away. "Still something useful."
I chuckled. "Whatever, you guys be safe. Victor, Nancy, you know what to do when you're ready to come back."
I teleported away to the bunker. I spent the rest of the day making changes and modifications to the bunker. I upgraded the scanners for supernatural creatures to include everything I sensed except Death and God. I could sense them, but I wasn't about to let Nancy and Victor run into those two. Death was locked away currently between Hell and earth, while God was hiding on earth.
The angels were still mostly in heaven except a handful on earth that were basically useless. All in all it was a boring day. That is, until Victor sent me a prayer for strength. I gave him some and watched as he beat down a few demons from the tv in my room.
He and Nancy kicked demon ass with Bobby while Sam and Dean were on the Lilith mission. They were only supposed to by time, but with the extra strength and knives, they were demolishing the demons there.
When they finished, I watched as Bobby ask. "Damn! Where'd that come from?"
Victor smiled. "Helps to have a god backing you up. One quick prayer and we can over power even the toughest of demons. Alex isn't stingy with the help, watch."
He held up a hand and prayed for me to revive the dead humans. I let him tap into my power and he did it just like he practiced. A blinding light glowed out his eyes and hand. A moment later it stopped and the humans on the ground were healed.
They started stirring and he told Bobby. "It's time to go, they're healed and revived. Let's go see what the wonder twins are up to."
Bobby frowned. "Isn't there a price for that?"
Nancy smiled. "That's the beauty of it. The demons were the price. Their souls in exchange for the humans coming back. At least, that's how Alex explained it."
I watched them head to the house where Sam and Dean fled to when the demons attacked. They found Dean dead next to a distraught Sam and the dead body Ruby was once possessing. Nancy raised a hand and prayed to heal Dean. I let it happen in so much as she healed the body.
When she looked confused, I teleported to the room they were in. "I'm sorry, but I can't bring him back, or at least, I won't. There are beings watching that can fight me evenly as I currently am, and it would destroy this world if we fought. He's in hell now and there's nothing any of us can do to change that."
I waved a hand and Dean was wrapped in white silk sheets. I waved it again and levitated the body. "It's time to go. The people in this town will forget everything that happened to them when we leave."
I teleported us all to Bobby's house along with the cars. Deans wallet and keys appeared on Bobby's table and his body appeared on the couch, still wrapped up. I turned to Sam and Bobby. "Do you want help with the pyre?"
Sam shook his head. "No! No, he'll need a body for when he comes back."
I sighed and turned to Sam. "It's up to you, but I wouldn't get my hopes up."
I turned to Victor and Nancy. "You two ready to go?"
They nodded and I teleported us home. A week later they left on a hunt and I went on an artifact hunt of my own. I went to the deepest ocean floor and retrieved the first blade before teleporting to the Precious Pawn shop. I went inside and dried myself off. When Terry came around I compelled him to bring me every real occult item he had.
That got me a lot of things including dragons breath, a hand of glory, a weird sword, a cigar box and the Baozhu, among other things. I took it all into my vault and left the guy a half a million and the compulsion to stay away from the supernatural.
I took a trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas and raided the Loughlin family home. I killed the human sacrificing witches and took the black bible along with all their supplies. I burnt their house down as I left. I teleported to Bridge Valley, Indiana and slaughtered the jakkals.
With a thought, I sent my consciousness to the realm of death. I went to the borders between mine and Anubis's realm and caught his attention. He came over. "What is it you need my lord?"
I smiled. "How would you like to consume a lesser version of yourself and take a physical form? You'll be able to walk beside me in the mortal realms. There, I can help you grow far stronger easier."
He grinned and his maul showed his very sharp teeth. "It would be an honor to walk beside you my lord."
Hades came over and I turned to him. "It will be awhile before I run into a body suitable for you Hades. For now, I ask that you continue to stand guard till i find a suitable one for you as well."
He bowed his head. "As you command my lord."
I nodded and held out my hand to Anubis. "I'll take you down to it, you must be the one to make the connection though and once you're inside the body, it'll be your fight. It shouldn't be hard for you to win."
He grasped my forearm and I took us back. I re-entered my body and he stood beside me in astral form. "Just a moment."
I tore the heart out of the last jakkal and used it to summon the Anubis of this world. When he arrived, my Anubis entered his body immediately and the fight was on. They struggled and fought for a few moments before the body went still.
When Anubis stood and looked at me, he kneeled. "My lord, I am successful. This body and all its memories are mine now."
I nodded. "For now, continue to work with heaven. I'll give you your first physical upgrade now. When the angels fall, you'll receive another. Feel free to feed on the demons when you want to strengthen your spirit."
I bit my finger and a drop of blood came out. It only had the regular Kryptonian upgrade so he wouldn't become too powerful. Not at first anyway, I added the cloning ability to it as well. It flew into his forehead and fused with his body, changing and modifying it. He continued to kneel and when the fusion was done, he spoke. "Thank you my lord."
I chuckled. "Create a clone to do the previous duties of this worlds Anubis. Then we will leave here. You can feast on these if you want as well."
I waved a hand to the dead bodies and he grinned before creating a clone that left and began his feast. When he was done, there wasn't a drop of blood left in the house. Smiling, we left after I took the blade of everlasting.
We left there an went to Shreveport, Louisiana. There we found the stein family. While Anubis had another meal, I went to Spain and retrieved the book of the damned. It wasn't too hard to find as it stood out to my senses. Once I put it in my vault, I wiped out the local Styne family branch and ate their mutated souls.
When I was done, I stores their bodies and went to pick up Anubis. We went to Scotland and dug up Crowley's bones. Then, after I stored those away, we teleported around the world, hunting down dragon killing swords. I claimed Excalibur, Anubis found the sword of Saint George, along with the rest of him.
He had a meal of the saints bones except one, I told him to keep a femur for a ritual later. I received an invitation to Plutus's auction house when I found Excalibur. I'd managed to beat one of the minor deities to it and they offered an invitation in exchange for their life.
When they scampered of, Anubis brought back the Muramasa blade as well. We continued on our treasure hunt. Anubis found some of his new bodies old treasures in Egypt along with the blade of Khan. There were only two more dragon killing swords out there and we didn't really need them enough to take them from their owners.
One was meant for Sam and Dean anyway, and the other was in the auction house I'd been invited to. Anubis was busy assimilating the energy of the items he found so I sent him to the bunker while I stopped by Syria and took some fresh fruit from the tree of life.
While I was in the Middle East, I took a trip to Saudi Arabia and found the horn of Joshua. Smiling, I stored it away for now. I sought out other similar objects with the same feel to them and teleported around the world to a warehouse in Switzerland.
Below it was a vault, where I found a few interesting items but only one had any real appeal to it,the Rod of Aaron. I couldn't help but smile when I put it away. Those two hands of God, as they're called, would help me heal to around thirty percent. Chuckling to myself, I teleported to Spain and stole some demonic stones from a sealed church.
I believe they were called the stones of Hyginus or something. Anyway, they felt useful and would be something I could give to Hades as a thank you for the hard work he's doing. After that I went home and began shopping on eBay. I bought various things including a couple grimoires.
I switched over to herbal shops and ordered everything with any magical significance. It would all be sent to my PO Box anyway. I checked in on Anubis who was still at his own strengthening before heading to my room.
I went up and checked on Hades and delivered the demonic stones to him. He was thrilled as it would help him strengthen his soul a great deal. After that, I went back to my body and absorbed the Hands of God. I spent the next month in meditation healing myself.
When I came out of it, I found Victor and Nancy sitting in the kitchen with Anubis threatening them with becoming lunch if they shoot him again. Not that it would harm him, but it was the principle of the matter.
I chuckled as I walked in. Anubis bowed time me as he saw me. "Greatings your majesty."
I snorted. "Call me Alex here in the mortal realm. I'm happy to see you've met and are getting along."
Victor spoke up. "We were getting along alright, he was saying how we were going to be lunch."
Anubis paled. "I meant no offense to your mortal friends. I only conveyed my annoyance at being shot."
I nodded. "Well, all of you can behave. When I'm not around, Anubis here will be your backup. He's a dirty in his own right, albeit not as powerful as myself."
Anubis's eyes shot up to look me over. "You've healed some more?"
I nodded. "I'm a thirty percent of my current full strength now. That's about as powerful as I was before I attempted to ascend another step. I'll be retaking some of my old territory soon and slaughtering Osiris for his betrayal. Once I'm at one hundred percent again, I'll be able to finish my ascension."
He nodded with a smile. "This is wonderful news. Now we've no fear of any deity in this reality."
I frowned. "That's true, but ever since I reformed, I've felt the other higher gods checking in on this realty from time to time. If we make too big of a splash, we could end up attracting them back before I'm ready."
He sighed. "Then we shall continue to hide in the shadows."
I nodded. "For now at least."
I turned to Victor and Nancy. "Would you like to evolve a step as humans?"
Victor frowned. "What does that mean?"
Anubis snorted. "He wants to give you a gift mortal! I'd suggest you take it."
I clicked my tongue and Anubis backed down. "It means that you'll gain the natural abilities of a naturally evolved human. Some are telekinesis, healing and weather manipulation. It all depends on you what you end up with. You'll still look human, but your minds will be stronger and you'll become a lot more intelligent."
Nancy asked. "Is it harmful?"
I shook my head. "Not at all. Heck, if you work at it, you may even be able to become like Anubis was, a domain god."
Victor nodded. "Let's do it, what do I have to do?"
I chuckled. "Nothing. Just relax."
I bit my finger and a drop of gold blood flew out. It had all the Alteran physical changes in it. It touched Victor's head and went inside. It made the changes to his DNA and altered him into the first Alteran of this reality. Nancy spoke. "Me too."
I sent her a drop as well. After a few minutes both of them asked. "Was that it?"
I smiled. "Yep, you'll have to find out for yourself what powers you've got over time. Your mind should feel more clear by tomorrow."
I turned to Anubis. "I've rewarded you already but is there something you desire right this minute?"
He shook his head. "Only to feast on Osiris for his crimes."
I nodded. "Then a feast you will have. It's time I reclaimed my domain and tore him apart."
I headed to the living room and he followed. We both sat down and sent our consciousness's up into our domains. Hades was there waiting. When he saw us, he spoke. "You seem as strong as I remember my lord."
I nodded. "You two can move your domains back, it's time we visited an old friend."
Hades grind and they began mobilizing their domains. Once they were in place, my domain began rapidly expanding to fill the giant gap. It continued on until it his Osiris's domain that he'd stolen from me. I began taking it back by force and he came running to defend it. When he did so, we tore into each other. He was far stronger than before but it mattered very little to my curse.
I drained him of power and tore him in half. I tossed his astral body to Hades and Anubis who began to feast while I took my territory back. When I'd expanded to where I left off, I stopped as I needed to heal more before I went further. Hades and Anubis split the rest of Osiris's territory amongst each other.
I encompassed Ayana and Chloe's territory connections in mine. They were safe and could grow safely now. I went to my magic realm node and spread a stronger barrier out over our connections there as well. Bonnie's realm hadn't yet expanded, but when it did, I would begin my expansion there as well.
I was a god of magic, death and speed and this time, I'd expand in all three. I went back to my death domain and told Anubis to take his time with his meal before coming down. I went back to my body and sent his to his room.
Two months of meditation later and Bobby sent me a prayer out of the blue. I was used to Victor and Nancy praying for things, but Bobby rarely asked for anything. I teleported to his house and found him with Dean still holding a knife on him. "Is this the real Dean?"
I looked at Dean closer. "It is. Looks like something pulled you out of the pit. Wasn't human though, or demon as far as I can tell."
Bobby looked relieved and gave Dean a hug. "It's good to see you boy!"
Dean hugged him back. "It's good to see you too Bobby, where's Sam. I need to know what he did to bring me back."
When they released each other, I walked over and moved his shirt collar aside. When I saw the hand print I sneered. Dean saw it and asked. "Do you know what did that?"
I nodded. "Nothing you should be messing with. That's all I'm going to say for now. My suggestion is to leave it alone and hope it pisses off to somewhere else."
I teleported to Italy and had another meal at my now favorite restaurant. I'd leave the Angels to Sam and Dean for now. Later that day Bobby and Sam sent me prayer. Sighing I teleported to them and found them in a dark Gypsy like room. Seeing the woman on the floor, I asked. "What can I do for you?"
Bobby waved to the woman. "Heal her eyes!"
I raised an eyebrow. "Was that a question or a demand?"
My eyes changed and Bobby backed away. "Please?"
I sighed and held up a hand. I shot a healing spell into the woman. A few seconds later and she opened her eyes again. "So, what'd you idiots do now?"
The woman in question sat up looking at me. "Name's Pamela and I was trying to get a look at the thing that pulled Dean out."
I chuckled. "So you're the lead idiot then. By the way, I'd stop trying to look at my full form if I were you. You lost your eyes peeking at that thing, my form would literally make your head explode."
Bobby asked. "Do you know what that thing was then?"
I nodded. "Something that I could swat like a fly now that I'm healed more. I'd not look into it again if I were you. It may be a fly to me, but to you it's about as big as a skyscraper and could kill you with a snap of its fingers."
Pamela asked. "What are you then, for reference then?"
I smiled. "I'm just a man."
Dean spoke up. "He's a god, a decent one when he's not a dick."
I snorted. "Next time just pray to use my powers. I don't like wasting time I could be using to heal myself."
Bobby asked. "What kind of powers can we pray for?"
I chuckled. "Strength, healing, protection, speed, smiting lesser beings if the situation calls for it. Just remember, my powers are for emergencies only. Even Victor and Nancy only pray when it's absolutely necessary."
Pamela asked. "What do you consider lesser beings?"
I shrugged. "Demons, reapers and monsters. Basically anything that you could possibly run into on a hunt. Now, unless you need something important, I'll be leaving."
Sam spoke up. "Wait! You still haven't answered his question."
I smirked. "I didn't, did I?"
I teleported back to my bunker and meditated some more. Victor and Nancy were out on a hunt with Anubis. They'd kill whatever it was and Anubis would feed on its essence. He'd bring back its soul, or souls for me to use to heal myself as well.
I became restless in the first hour so got up and watched some Sam and Dean tv. I watched them leave Pamela's place and head to Bobby's. I continued watching as Sam snuck out and Dean went with Bobby to set a trap and summon the thing that brought him out of hell.
When Castiel showed up, I chuckled at their foolish attempts to kill him. When realized nothing was working, both of them prayed to me. I lined them the strength to fight the angel on even grounds albeit temporarily. And fight they did! Dean hit Cas with a right hook that sent him flying backwards at super sonic speeds.
The Angel was caught completely off guard and was blown through the side of the barn. Dean looked at his fist and grinned. "No that's what I'm talking about! Bobby, let's end this thing."
They both fought Castiel and would've won except he immediately retaliated by putting Bobby to sleep. After that, it was a matter of moments before he had Dean pinned to the ground. Castiel spoke angrily. "I don't know where you got this power from, but you clearly lack the skills to use it properly. Now calm down, I'm not your enemy Dean Winchester."
After a little more struggling, I withdrew my powers. After that, Castiel sighed. "Now, will you listen to what I have to say, or do I need to put you to sleep like your friend here?"
Dean grunted. "Ok, ok, I'll listen."
Castiel gave his whole angel of the lord speech and I tuned it out. When he finished, he asked. "Where did your power come from? It didn't feel demonic."
Dean smirked. "Your not the only one that knows a god."
Castiel frowned. "You shouldn't trust those pagans. They always ask for a steep price."
Dean went to speak and I sent him a psychic message. (Careful Dean, if you tell him any more about me, there will be a war between myself and his God. It will destroy this universe and everything in it, including you. I am not yet healed all the way.)
Dean sighed. "Yeah well, the devil you know."
Castiel frowned. "I thought you said it was a god."
Dean snorted. "It's an expression, geez don't you angel get out more?"
Castiel was looking more and more confused. Dean just shook his head. "Whatever man, look, thanks for the jailbreak and all, but I think it's time I woke up Bobby and went home."
Castiel looked confused but sighed. "Dean, Heaven needs you. We need you to be ready. There great battles on the horizon and you are needed to help fend them off."
I tuned them out and turned off the tv, before going back to meditation. I kept my eye on the seals while I sat in meditation. Two days passed when I felt the next seal break. The witnesses were released. I sent an emergency S.O.S to all my contacts that ghosts were out in force.
Every hunter this side of the Atlantic that I'd ever met or heard of got the message. I sent Bobby the answer in the form of an impression to check the book of revelations. A couple hours later the witnesses were dispelled.
All the hunters I knew checked in with confirmation that they'd survived. They asked what the hell it was though, so I pointed them to Bobby.
