The Witch of Trinity

Casting the forest a long measuring stare, Zariel turned to Aurelia pursing her lips at the Red priest's sudden departure.

"How could he just abandon us like so? And in a forest of all things." she turned to Zariel meeting his annoyed stare, and snorted, " Don't look at me like that. You know I'm right."

"Whether your right or not isn't important," he replied sharply, scanning his surroundings. His palms slowly etched towards his sword upon his back, taking hold of it, "Why not take note of your surroundings first before you start rambling."

Aurelia paused. Her palm tightened around Morningstar, and her golden eyes glimmered; she listened to the winds: the trees' rustling, the insects' squeaks, and the oddly silent absence of any animals. Aurelia's grip tightened, and she slowly circled and found herself back to back with Zariel.

"I can feel you here. Show yourself." Zariel demanded, his tone soft, but his words sounded like thunder, stirring the forest like how a storm would. Leaves, rocks, and dirt were flung through the skies, casting a shadow over the forest.

The Young Master narrowed his eyes, and suddenly, he snapped into action, "Duck!" He commanded in a swift, decisive tone. Not in the least bit startled, Aurelia followed his command. She bent a knee almost instantly, watching as Zariel weaved like a graceful feline around her, arching his left hand, palms faced out seamlessly, just as a swirling ball of heat came burrowing through the air at an impeccable pace.

Gesturing to the massive ball of flames swirling as though it were the sun, the silver devils eyes glowed a profound silver, and instantly the ball came to a swift halt. He narrowed his eyes, feeling the heat that withered away the plants leaving nothing but a dry husk, and closed his palms, condensing the fireball that was not his own into a small compact ball the size of a marble.

"Your turned," He commanded.

Aurelia's head whipped towards the northeast, having already mentally calculated the direction where the fireball originated from, her eyes carrying an emerald glint around the rim of her iris glowed. She pointed her finger, and with a dark light filling her eyes, her cold gaze landed upon the hooded figure.

"Mind Sliver," she uttered in a demonic tone that demanded life and pointed morningstar towards the shadowy figure.

A powerful ripple echoed like a wave, striking the hooded figure that rested upon the tree. A painful grunt exploded from the hooded figure, followed by a sliver of blood spilling from the shadows of the hood.

"He lived?"

"She," Zariel corrected. " But don't you think you overdid it? Applying Necrotic Blade to Soul Sliver is a little overkill, you know. That spell can take down just about anyone without a soul defense."

Aurelia smiled, but the emerald light in her eyes didn't fade but rather glowed; she readied herself to cast yet another spell.

"Calm down. No need to escalate this anymore. Don't you think so, Witch?"

Wiping the stream of blood from her mouth, the horror came like a vengeful hammer pounding her mind as Elyimi struggled to maintain her ground upon the branch. Shock whipped over her mind as she struggled to maintain herself.

"Was that Mind Sliver?" She said, unable to comprehend the power it held. "No, that's impossible."

"Oh, I don't know," Zariel replied carelessly, approaching with his blade pointing towards the ground. He smiled, narrowing his sterling eyes, "Are you the dean?"

Elyimi straightened herself, eyeing the boy a head shorter than she was. Dusting herself off, she sent a particular glance at Aurelia. "I want her."

"You want me?" The young lass said in a guarded manner, sneaking behind Zariel. She popped her head off to the side, " Aurelia is not for sale, not unless the money goes to her!"

"A-Are you serious?" Said Zariel tilting his head back to the fallen.

"Damn right. You don't give me money, so Aurelia has to—"

"Zariel, you bastard! Is aurelia prostituting herself?" Elyimi screamed, pulling off her cloak, revealing a dark milky skin with long pointed ears, while long creamy hair was tied into a neat bun with an ebony double-winged hairpin.

Enchanting the young fallen with her bewitching features that seemed to cause her heart to thump, her mouth slipped open in awe.

"How the hell did you get that?" Zariel demanded. Never had he been accused of such a thing. And even if he was, what did that have to do with him?

Elyimi folded her arms, narrowing her eyes. "She just said it." She turned to aurelia, " Did you prostitute yourself? Were you popping that ass?"

'What the hell is going on?"

"Answer me!"

"Don't answer that!"

"Answer me!"

"Aurelia sold her services to many!'

A long silence spilled over the air as even the young master had to turn to look at Aurelia, bobbing her head in agreement." hmm. I was a bounty hunter and adventurer. We did many things."

"Oh, thank god!"

"The hell it is," Zariel snapped, glaring at the young vixen.

Aurelia giggled, carrying a mischievous grin upon her face as she made the victory sign with her two fingers. "Hehe"

"I swear you almost gave me a heart attack. Elyimi's voice was breathless. Her heart raced against her breast as she smiled, holding onto her chest. "Never have I seen such a witch as powerful as you. Was that a bloodline spell? It had to have been. And how were you able to learn Mind Sliver? Oh, wait, that must be due to Mr. Blackwater here. That was Astral QI. So you are from the Astral Sea. I see, I see—"

Hearing Elyimi ramble on for a few more minutes, Zariel stood still, amazed that this woman was still talking, throwing off theory after theory about their origin. More annoyed than amazed, he sheathed his blade, sensing no ill intent from this eccentric woman.

"Umm, so how much are we talking? Aurelia will not settle unless it's for a few million."

Knocking her upside the head, Zariel sighed. " You are worth far more than that. Not even this planet would be worth more than a drop of your blood. Have some damn dignity."

Tears bubbled in the Fallen eyes when suddenly, a sharp glint flared, and in a single moment, her fist flashed like a bolt of light,

"NUT SHOT!!!!"
