Professor Blackwater

"Nut Shot!"

"Damn you, Mephisto," Zariel heard himself say the moment the horrid words left Aurelia's lips as a seizing force wrapped around the Young Master, locking him in place. Stars erupted like a blinding flare of saturated light as Zariel plummeted to his feet, Foam filling his mouth, as his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

Aurelia blinked and stared at her fist and then towards her Master, convulsing over the ground. Disbelief whipped over her mind, drenching her back in a cold sweat. A mixture of pride and terror danced along her spine as she thought of the repercussions once he stood back up. She gulped, taking a step back, putting some distance between her and him.

"Oh, my," Elyimi muttered, covering her mouth as she looked on in awe. Befuddlement slipped into the back of her mind. She thought of their age, and a laugh slipped from her lips.

"Don't laugh. Zariel's gonna kill me!"

"Well, why'd you do it?" Elyimi said.

Scratching her cheek, Aurelia gave a dry chuckle, her gaze flickering between the foamy mouth of Zariel and Elyimi, " He's a dick. No other reason."

Thoughts raced through Aurelia's mind. She recalled hundreds of incidents of bullying and torture. She thought of the day she had arrived home from a bounty, and Zariel snatched all her gold because he wanted a fancy meal. Or the day he tossed her into the steaming pool after dirtying her clothing after a meal. Slowly, that terror turned into anger as she looked down at his defenseless state, her lips curling into an evil grin.

"Dumb-Dumb! If Aurelia is to die, she is going to die, knowing she screwed you.' She mischievously mentioned, turning to Elyimi with a sinful smile, "is there a pigpen, a farm? Anything of the sorts."

"Ok-Ok-Ok," Elyimi hastily said, shaking her hands, "that's enough of—whatever the Hell this is. By the Nines, you two are crazy. Were you going to throw him into a pile of shit?"

Aurelia nodded without hesitation.

"No. Gods, no. your not doing that. By the Hells, no!" Palming her face, Elyimi groaned, " First off, you two need some damn discipline. Secondly, and more importantly, darling, what do you know of Iluthath?"

Images of the Redwoods flashed over her mind, and a tinge of a frown hooked onto Aurelia's lips. "Much, but I've never been there. Not really, that is. But shouldn't dumb-dumb be awake for this? He knows more than I do." Aurelia said to direct the conversation back to Zariel. Showing that she wanted him to be involved.

Taking the hint. Elyimi's lips arched into a thin smirk, " Very well, now have you decided upon what three colleges you wish to be a part of?"

"Yes, The College of Twilight." Said Aurelia finding a smile.

"And will you be staying on campus?" She asked, eying the unconscious young man. "Or are you the adventurous type?"

"I'll stay with dumb—"

"No, a young girl like you needs to stay separate from him. Take some time to get to know yourself. From the reports I got, you two have been together for years now; why not make some friends that aren't Duke Blackwater? Or Sionn, or the lovly Ella?"

"Why?" She asked, rolling her eyes at the thought. She had Ella and Sionn. Would more friends equate to a higher level of fun?

"My god! That's why. To get you some experience, I will be contacting my Coven on the next full moon, but till then, relax and enjoy school life without Mr. Blackwater breathing down your neck." She remarked, flicking the Fallens head, "Oh! And never use Mind Sliver on our students or staff. I don't know what you did to that basic spell, but it cut me deep."

Aurelia's eyes widened, recalling what she had done not even ten minutes ago, and immediately bowed her head, " Sorry!"

"No need, now. Off you go." Elyimi said, snapping her fingers when an odd bubble appeared around Aurelia and Zariel. " See you soon, darling."

Two days later. Zariel stared at himself in the mirror, passing his hands through his silvery hair that fell to his shoulders; he splashed a slew of water over his cheeks from the sink, "My first day."

"Indeed, but I'm wondering what revenge you have for my niece?" The devil's shadow whispered in Zariels ear, sending a chill down his spine.

"Go away. It's your fault I ended up so wide open." He said, utterly annoyed, " And, I'm not doing anything. Nut shots shouldn't be taken too personally. It's a sacred art of—"

"What kind of Art could it be? You literally punch the other person in the dick. It's a vulgar sport." Mephisto remarked, from the shadows, boggled by the very idea.

"Well, if you're a serious person all the time, then I guess you can call it vulgar, but I'm not, or at least I wasn't." Wiping his face dry with a cloth, Zariel released a long breath, shooting a side glance towards his shadow, " What is it you want?" He asked, hoping to change the conversation.

"Just curious." Mephisto said, "I think I'm in for quite a show."

Zariel pulled away from the mirror. Stepping out of the restroom to his luxurious suite draped in some of the finest antiques around Alos, he left his room in a hurry making sure to lock the door on his way out as he walked through the majestic halls of Trinity.

Passing students and various teachers alike that shot him odd stares, Zariel raced up the spiraling stars within the central building of Trinity, where the dean's office resided, alongside many of the others. And he found himself approaching a large portal meant to teleport to one of the three major colleges. Swirling with glistening wonder, the young Master stepped through the vortex of space and time, appearing within a large, dome-shaped room filled with seven rows of tables that stretched from one end to the other.

Hush murmurs rippled out from the hundreds or so of students already present, staring wide-eyed at the child around their age.

Glancing at Aurelia, Sionn, and Ella, already seated in the dawn of morning, Zariel's lips arched into a grin, one filled with amusement.

"Morning Class, I am Professor Blackwater."
