Chapter 57: Asking Permission

"I'm done," said K.

She returned to Jonathan and Seraphina while waving a piece of paper in her hand. Jonathan crossed his arms around his chest and gave K a worried look.

"If something happens to you, I don't know how I'll face Christ," said Jonathan.

"If something happens to me, none of us will survive," said K.

What she meant was that if a threat that she can't handle arrives, none of them will survive. That's how confident she is when it comes to her skills.

K is a mage class, meaning she can't sacrifice herself to buy time for an enemy because she's very fragile. Unlike Vixen, who can fight head-on, K can't use her body the same way because she's still not familiar with it.

The structure of Vixen's body is unnatural compared to humans. Having the ability to transform into a snake sounds powerful, but it's tough to control.

"Wait, let's prepare first. I'll go back home and prepare my stuff," said Jonathan.
