Chapter 118 - Pisti

---The next day---

As the sun rose, Lev found himself waking up, but he didn't get up as someone was leaning on his arms and using his arms as a pillow. He looked at who it was and surprisingly saw Yamraiha and thought about when it happened.

Looking at her cute face, Lev then could only smile before he slowly and gently got out from the bed not wanting to wake her up as he wanted to look outside to see the situation and to order their breakfast.

Upon getting out of the bed, Lev walked near the window and opened it which he then was bathed with the fresh scent of the sea added to its beautiful scenery with the people around already busy. He continued to watch them for a while before looking back upon seeing Yamraiha finally waking up.

"Good morning, Yamraiha." Lev greeted Yamraiha who was rubbing her eyes while yawning before walking towards her and telling her to prepare for another journey. He didn't even bother to ask why she slept with him and just let it be.

---One month later---

Southeastern Area of the Continent,

Another month had passed since Lev and Yamraiha left the port. Right now, the two could be found setting camp in a place surrounded by tall cliffs while they could sometimes see several giant birds flying in the sky.

"Lev, you still didn't use the Metal Vessel that you stole a while back. Let me see it." Yamraiha said that throughout this month, all they did was travel and rest while Lev tried asking her some of her magic spells which she performed perfectly and skillfully.

"Oh, that." Lev pondered about it and said before he summoned Infinity and Metal Vessel Alloces in his hand remembering that he really did not use it after stealing it a month ago in the Kingdom of Sasan.

"Devour it." Lev said which Infinity then directly ate up the Metal Vessel.

"Metal Vessel: Alloces." Following that, Lev then wanted to try it which Infinity then transformed into a lance similar to what the Knight King had. He looked at it for a while before going all the way.

"Djinn Equip." Lev followed and a sudden light then engulfed him again which after it disappeared, his appearance then changed as he was now wearing a full dark armor without a helmet and seemed to be riding on a dark horse with dark armor.

"Woah." Yamraiha exclaimed seeing a different form again looking at Lev who was now more like a noble knight unlike the first one with a monster-like appearance. She then just circled her around to see more of it while asking Lev several questions.

Lev also looked at himself with a smile upon seeing a different Djinn Equip again while having a different ability from the first one as this time it was more focused on defense and support type of magic. He could also feel the difference between the two Djinn Equip as he felt safer in this suit of armor than the first one.

Following that, Lev then let Yamraiha study himself before cancelling his Djinn Equip seeing her finally losing interest. The two then just continue doing their business as they decide to rest for a while and maybe spend the night at this place.

"Lev, can you tell me about your magic this time?" Yamraiha asked as Lev was always the one who questioned her not the other way around. She still was surprised about his magic the last time and thought that he must have still another.

"My magic?" Lev said before thinking that aside from the magic spells that he picked up from her, he only had a small number of skills that he could use right now and all of them were his trump cards.

"Mmm. Mmm." Yamraiha nodded while getting excited seeing Lev might have thought about it and might have shown his magic to her. She then just moved closer to him with her excited and sparkling eyes.

"Let me see something different, a magic spell unique for a wandering magician." Yamraiha then followed as she wanted to see magic different from the magic spells that she knew from the Academy.

"Unique, huh." Lev then thinks about it before a skill comes to his mind. He looked at Yamraiha first before looking at the sky waiting for some large birds to pass by while holding Bow Infinity and Arrow Infinity in his hand.

Yamraiha then just waited seeing Lev looking for something which didn't take long after seeing him holding his weapon and saw him attacking. Lev, on the other hand, took the shot after seeing a giant bird flying alone which was then killed in an instant. He then motioned his hand up to the sky or to be precise towards the dead body of the giant bird.

"Bansho Ten'in." Lev immediately used an ability as he wanted the dead body of the giant bird to come to their place instead of letting it fall somewhere and getting himself into trouble on finding it.

"Is that all?" Yamraiha asked after seeing Lev just kill something and she wasn't amazed that much since she had already seen his seemingly strange weapon and his telekinetic power.

Hearing Yamraiha, Lev, however, just smiled at her before the dead body of the giant bird appeared in front of them while seeing it giving some black smoke.

"Arise." Lev said with a smile which a heavy screeching could be heard out of nowhere as the shadow of the giant bird then started quivering as if it was alive. Not long after that, a sudden black wing appeared from its body seeing it pulling itself up from the shadows before seeing it fly up to the sky.

....Screech...

After everything's done, the newly Shadow Giant Bird screeched after being reborn again as it landed down on the ground looking at Lev.

After witnessing everything, Yamraiha couldn't stop herself from falling down from the shock seeing how the dead giant bird suddenly came back to life as if born anew while seeing its body was still there lying on the ground.

With that, Yamraiha looked at the Shadow Giant Bird who couldn't be described as giant anymore as it became much bigger and intimidating to look at, unlike its cute original appearance.

"H-How did you do that?" Yamraiha couldn't wait but asked wanting to know how he did that since what he did today has a little more detail unlike what he did in the past. She then just looked at Lev excitedly as it was her first seeing such a thing.

"It's called necromancy." Lev replied truthfully thinking that there was no harm in telling Yamraiha about it. He then just called on the Shadow Giant Bird as he also wanted to look at it closely seeing his luck was good upon getting it one try.

"N-Necromancy?" Yamraiha immediately asked with great curiosity as this was the first time she heard such a word.

"Teach me. Teach me." With that, Yamraiha excitedly said while her eyes were sparkling expecting a positive reply from Lev as she really wanted to do such magic.

"Hahaha. Sadly, you can't." Lev laughed while looking at Yamraiha who was hungry for knowledge, but he was really telling the truth about that as he really couldn't transfer it to others as this was an exclusive skill to the Job 'Shadow Monarch' and the fact that it wasn't compatible after all, the skill originally uses mana and not Magoi.

"Tch. You just wanted to hide it from me. Hmmp." Yamraiha immediately showed displeasure seeing Lev not wanting to teach her this necromancy thing. However, she then thought that she might learn it in the future since they would be together and could observe him doing it again.

"Well, I will tell you someday. Instead, I will give you this." Lev, seeing Yamraiha's pouting, couldn't help but get soft so he decided to transfer another skill to her. He then told her to come closer before he pointed his finger on her forehead.

"Skill Transfer: Martial Arts Specialist. Weapon Specialists. Regeneration." Lev used an ability in which he transferred three skills that were very compatible and the skills that she needed especially since she was a magician. These skills will help her become more flexible in any fights and a way of protection.

After that, Yamraiha felt a sudden shock after receiving information directly in her brain which she couldn't hold on but to pass out Lev then held her in his arms. He didn't know what her reactions would be after waking up, so he let her lie in a comfortable place on the ground as he started cooking as the sun started to set.

---Night---

As the sun set, Lev could now be found feeding the fire not wanting to let it die as he put more wood on it. He was already done cooking and was now only waiting for Yamraiha to wake up while feeling that he was one with the place seeing how calm it was.

While waiting, Lev suddenly heard a sound before feeling a presence coming toward their position. He looked at it curiously before he saw a giant bird flying towards them. He, however, just let it get close as he was surprised to see a very interesting visitor.

Not before long, the bird flew down and landed just in front of Lev and a very young girl then jumped down on the ground looking at him with a very cute and curious face at the same time.

Meanwhile, Lev looked at the bird with interest seeing that it was different from the one that he killed as it had a different color and was way bigger than it. Following that, he then shifted his gaze and looked at the girl who jumped down with a smile fully knowing who she was.

"Are you lost, little one?" Lev asked with a smile while looking at the one and only Pisti who would also later become one of the Eight Generals like Yamraiha in the future. He then just wondered as to how she was here alone.

On the other hand, the young girl named Pisti did not reply and just looked at Lev before looking towards the food place on the table as it was the Giant Bird on her side that had brought her here.

"Do you want to eat?" Lev asked wanted to let Pisti stay while being glad knowing that he disposed of the giant bird's dead body a while back or things might have gotten complicated and tricky.

Hearing Lev, Pisti looked at him first before nodding as she suddenly started to feel hungry after looking at how tasty the food was.

With that, Lev then gave his confirmation which Pisti then got closer to him and started eating while he picked up some and gave it to her Giant Bird who was quietly sitting on their side taking the role of a guardian.

While eating, Pisti couldn't help but glance at Yamraiha who was sleeping on the ground. She also became curious about her but a couple of seconds later, she lost interest and just continued eating.

After eating for a while, Pisti surprisingly didn't leave and was now sitting on Lev's lap with a smile on her face as Lev this time could be seen singing some foreign language. Though she could not understand it, somehow it was great to hear added by the scenery of the beautiful sky above them.

On the other hand, Yamraiha who was sleeping peacefully suddenly woke up and the first thing she saw was Lev singing with an unknown girl sitting on his lap giggling. She then got up before her eyes popped out as she looked at the two of them.

"W-Who is that?!" Yamraiha shouted seeing how another girl could sit on Lev's lap while she herself still didn't do it. She could even be seen gritting her teeth while looking at Pisti hatefully.

"Yamraiha. You're awake." Lev said as he stopped singing seeing Yamraiha pointing her finger towards Pisti with some incredible expression as if she was jealous of something. 

"Don't give me that surprised expression. Who is that girl?" Yamraiha's rebuttal as the only thing that was bugging and important to her now was the name of the girl who was sitting on his lap.

"Well. Even I don't know her name." Lev replied and lied. Though he knew it, it would be a little suspicious if he told her so since Pisti herself hadn't talked even a word up until now.

"Pisti." Pisti then suddenly introduced herself while looking curiously at Yamraiha.

Upon hearing this, Yamraiha then looked at her printing the name Pisti on her mind without backing out from her stare.

"How about eating first, Yamraiha?" Lev said seeing that the food would get cold at any moment while setting aside the skill that he just transferred and just asked her later seeing that her mind was being occupied by another thing.

Yamraiha heard Lev and she then looked at the table. Without waiting, she started to eat while still looking at Pisti. No matter how she is bothered right now, eating still comes first.

Seeing this, Lev then just laughed while thinking what would happen now seeing the two of them on his side. He thought of how much change this situation would result but thinking about it, the story has already changed the moment he came so he no longer cares what would happen and just do what he felt was right.

In the Sky,

After minutes of resting, Lev and Yamraiha could now be seen riding on Pisti's giant bird and heading towards the place that Lev wanted to visit and this all happened after Pisti invited them to come and stay at their home.

Not before long, Lev, Yamraiha, and Pisti could now see some lights coming from the distance which the giant bird then screeched as it flew faster than before.

Inside a palace,

A youthful woman sitting on the throne could be seen talking to someone on her side. The woman was very worried after still not seeing her daughter as the sky was now very dark but her worries instantly vanished after hearing a screeching sound that was very familiar to her.

Moments later, a giant bird landed inside the palace and three people jumped down and one of them even started running towards the woman with excitement.

Seeing the girl running towards her, the woman happily picked her up and carried her since it was actually her daughter that she was worried about. Shen then just looked at the other people with her starting from the small one before staying her focus on the bigger one.

"Pisti, you've brought some rare visitors this time. You really take after me seeing how good you are at choosing your husband." The woman said as she looked at Lev like a hungry wolf looking at her prey examining his body from head to toe while Lev looked the same way at her.
