The Tall Man

The sky still hadn't turned back to normal when we left the mall. I looked at the sky and placed my hand in my pocket. I took out my cross and it turned into The Sword of Saint Michael. I closed my eyes then the sword began to shine brightly.

"What's he doing?" Candy asked.

"He's praying. You see Xander is an active follower of God, even when his parents lost faith, he still wanted them to be protected. The real reason why he's targeted is because he wields The Soul of the Savior, in other words...He possesses The Will." Estella explained. "He hasn't awakened his true angelic abilities, but when he does I know he can stop anything in his path."

"That's very cute." A man's voice said and reality began to warp and we appeared in a forest. A faceless man in a black suit appeared in front of us.

Candy squeaked and hid behind Estella. Skittles and Reeses hissed at the man. "Slender Man..?!"

"When I was 11, I encountered him. The sky never turned Red when I first saw him meaning he can exist outside the Underworld. He lured me into the forest by mimicking Estella, but I soon caught on. When we first defeated him, he burned down my school. I vowed after that day...I would kill him. My friends...my teachers. He took them all away.." I said coldly and pointed my sword at Slender Man.

Slender Man chuckled softly and his tentacle like appendages emerged from his back. "I am more interested in you and your wife. I have a certain someone to deal with Candy."

Candy noticed a pair of green eyes shining. A young girl around her age walked forward holding a teddy bear in her arms. She had ghoulishly pale skin, long messy dark brown eyes, and wore a bloody pink dress.

"Sally Dawn. She is the adoptive daughter of Slender Man. She's good friends with Jeff the Killer as well. She isn't known to kill anyone, so I suggest you do your best while we deal with Slender Man!" Estella said then propelled herself toward Slender Man.

"Good luck!" I said then dashed toward Slender Man.

Slender Man laughed and vanished, warping Estella and I away from Sally and Candy. Candy and her two cats stared at Sally then she took a step back.

"What is your legend..?" Candy asked.

"I am not an Urban Legend." Sally said. "There is no legend that revolves around me...I would rather not get into my story.."

"So how are you— Why are you a demon?" Candy asked.

"I am not a demon either. I am an Undead Spirit. A poltergeist. Sometimes I can't control myself and I end up killing people. I hate killing people. But it's my duty to stop anyone associated with Mr. Xander!" Sally yelled and tossed her bear forward. "Mr. Death! Defeat her!"

"Skittles! Reeses!" Candy bellowed. They hopped out of her bag and grew in size.

Mr. Death turned into a giant monstrous bear then Sally floated up and landed on Mr. Death's shoulder. Reeses ran toward Mr. Death and tackled him. Mr. Death roared and grabbed Reeses and threw him to the side.

Candy ran forward and took some candy out of her bad then ate it. She began to grow more powerful then summoned a candy replica of the Spear of Vel then threw it at Sally. Sally dodged it and glared.

Mr. Death grabbed Sally and gently set her on the ground. Candy stopped Skittles and Reeses from attacking while he did. Mr. Death noticed and Candy gained some of Sally's and Mr. Death's respect.

"Now we can fight!" Sally said then ran toward Candy.

Candy ran toward Sally then went for a punch, but Sally dodged it and a black tentacle from Sally's back formed and rushed toward Candy. Candy dodged it then grabbed the tentacle then pulled Sally toward her. She pressed a ball of candy against Sally then it exploded, blowing her away. Sally grunted as she rolled backwards then she began to float. Six floating rocks appeared around her then she hurled each one toward Candy.

Candy summoned her lollipop then ate more candy to refuel her energy. She knocked the rocks away then noticed Sally had disappeared. Sally appeared behind Candy and her tentacle wrapped around Candy. She flung Candy away and Candy slammed into a tree then groaned.

Candy slowly stood up and noticed Mr. Death was about to step on her.

"Mr. Death! Watch your step!" Sally called out.

Mr. Death looked down and noticed he was about to step on Candy then stepped over her. Candy looked at Sally then smiled and twirled her lollipop in a circle then got into her stance. Sally noticed her smile then gave her a small smile back then another tentacle emerged from her back. The two dashed toward each other again and yelled.

Estella swung from tree to tree with her chains while dodging Slender Man's attacks then used her second chain to propel me toward Slender Man. I bellowed and slashed at him, but he used his tentacles to block the attack then warped reality again, causing the trees to come to life and thrust their branches at me.

Estella used her chains to save me then propelled herself toward Slender Man then bellowed. She punched his face then launched him away then landed on the ground and dashed toward him. Slender Man vanished and Estella slid forward then stopped.

"It's been 14 years and still you can not truly kill me. I am omnipresent, I am the one Xander truly fears." Slender Man said.

"That is a lie!" I said and dashed toward him. "I fear no one but God!"

Slender Man was surprised that I found him and noticed I was holding the Shield of Truth. He dodged my slash then vanished and chuckled. He appeared on the top of a tree branch and used his tentacle appendage to knock my shield out of my hand then it turned back into a necklace. He used another to wrap around my neck and raised me off the ground.

"A lucky hit, but without that Holy Weapon, you can no longer see me. I can be in many places at once." Slender Man said.

Estella grunted as a pair of tentacles grabbed her and began to drain her holy energy. She groaned and tried to break out. "How...much stronger did he become..?!"

"Now...I will have you both de—" Slender Man started then felt someone throw a rock at his head.

I looked to see who it was and grunted. "A...rock..?! Are you fucking serious..?!"

"Hey you're lucky I even came to save you and your wife!" The woman yelled.

The woman was named Jane. Yeah just Jane, no one knows her actual name, but she's been an ally of ours for a long time. She has ivory white skin, coal black hair, and dark yellow eyes. She wore a black dress, stockings, and heels to match.

"Save us, dumbass, so we can take him down!" Estella bellowed.

"Okay!" Jane yelled then propelled herself toward Slender Man then groaned when she was swiped away by a tentacle.

I watched and closed my eyes. "Our last hope was a woman who barely can perform against these kinds of threats, then again...she is merely a human like me.."

Slender Man chuckled and looked at me. "Well are you ready to die?"

Slender Man noticed his tentacles being sliced and releasing me and Estella. He looked around for the new combatant then groaned when he was blown away by a beam of light.

A light shined and Gabrielle landed on the ground then her six wings emerged from her back as she transformed into her Archangel form.

Estella smiled and dusted herself off. "About time you showed up."

"Sorry it took me so long, but in this forest it's hard to find anyone." Gabrielle said then stood up straight and summoned her angelic scepter.

Jane walked up and held her arm. "Okay...now I'm pissed!" Jane yelled and her aura surged around her body.

I stood up and grabbed my Shield of Truth necklace off the ground and it shined then turned back into a silver shield in my hand. I began to get goosebumps then noticed the trees slowly disappearing into magic particles to form into a giant dark crimson ball of energy in the air.

Slender Man walked forward and his body began to heal. Although he didn't have a face, his presence let us know he was angry. He absorbed the ball of energy then dark crimson aura surged powerfully around his body.

"Now the battle truly begins." Slender Man said then dashed toward us at high speeds.

I grunted and blocked his attack with my shield then got blown back by his overwhelming strength. Estella ran forward and transformed into her Black Angel form then dodged Slender Man's tentacles then struck his stomach. He groaned then was launching backwards.

Gabrielle flew after him then kicked him to the ground and he bounced off the ground then Estella used her chain to pull Slender Man toward her and struck her with a powerful lariat. She bellowed and swung him around then launched him away.

Sally pushed Candy out the way of Slender Man's body and felt powerful angelic energy. Candy knew it was Estella and watched Slender Man get up. She grabbed Sally's hand then ran off from the area.

"It's about to get dangerous! We need to find a safe place to hide!" Candy said then groaned when an explosion happened near them.

Sally held onto Candy and screamed and they both fell to the ground.

Estella and Slender Man clashed rapidly then roared. She parried his next attack then uppercut him. She flew after him and began to rapidly strike him with punches and kicked, but Slender Man blocked her last attack then flung her to the ground then vanished.

"He can use Slender Walking in the air as well?! Xander why are all your enemies insanely powerful?!" Jane asked. "Unlike you, I only have a fucking KNIFE!"

Estella blocked the punch from Slender Man then crashed into the ground and a massive smoke cloud formed. Estella appeared in front of me and panted. Her cross shined brightly and she grabbed her cross then it transformed into her signature weapon, The Eighth Crucifix. It was a sword with a golden blade of light with eight branches and an angel winged hilt.

Slender Man appeared on the other side of us then formed the orb of dark crimson energy in between his tentacles. "Your souls will be coming with me!"

He fired a powerful dark crimson beam at us and Gabrielle appeared in front of us then blocked the beam with ease.

"I am the Archangel that can announce God's Will to men and women alike. I am the Saint who gives everyone Hope! I am the Strongest Woman in Heaven! With the power of Hope, I weaken thee!" Gabrielle bellowed.

Slender Man's body shined and he grunted as he began to grow weaker and weaker. "What the-"

"Now!" Gabrielle bellowed.

Estella and I dashed toward Slender Man and bellowed as our swords began to shine brightly. We slashed together, one vertically and one horizontally. Slender Man groaned loudly then groaned as I kicked him away. He grunted when chains were wrapped around his body.

"It's time for you to go!" Estella bellowed and released angelic energy from her chains and began to smite Slender Man.

"Mr. S!" Sally cried out and held her hand out toward him.

Slender Man groaned as his body began to shine then a black cutting wave sliced Estella's chains, releasing Slender Man. Estella's chains reattached to the other piece and she yanked her chains then they wrapped around her arms.

A man walked forward and rubbed the back of his head. He wore a white hoodie, black t-shirt, and black pants and shoes. His skin was ivory white and his eyes shined a blood red. "Well well, Tall Guy, having trouble with these pests?"

"It's not them." Slender Man said and fixed his suit. He summoned a black hat then put it on. He began to walk off. "We should retreat for now until we find a way to deal with Heaven's Angels."

The man sighed and looked at me. "I was hoping to fight you again, Xander. I guess our little battle has to wait." He said and smirked then walked off.

"Sally, let's go." Slender Man said then disappeared into the darkness of the forest.

Sally looked at Candy and looked sad. They were just becoming friends and now it was time to leave her without knowing the next time they could meet.

"Bye, Candy." Sally said and got up.

Candy noticed her sad look and nodded. "Bye Sally."

Sally hurried after Slender Man and the other man then disappeared into the shadows with them. We were warped back to the mall and turned back to normal. The sky began to turn normal and we sighed. It was refreshing to see the citizens of Earth again.

"We need to find a way to kill him and Jeff the Killer. Those two are the main ones running this operation." I said.

"Slender Man is unkillable at the moment and Jeff the Killer is someone who outskills you despite also being human." Gabrielle said.

"I can train him." Jane said.

"You're the same one who got one shot by Slender Man. I'm better off going in blind." I said.

"Wow, rude. See if I save your ass again next time." Jane scoffed.

"Okay. Anyway, thank you for coming to help us. I really need to get stronger for the future. Our old enemies are evolving. We have no time to slack off." I said.

"I have an idea, but it's gonna take a few days to get prepared! I'll call you when it's ready!" Gabrielle said then hurried off.

"I wonder what she has planned." Estella smiled.

"I don't." I said.
