Volume Hundred and Five

I hugged my family even more when I finished my statement. I've been teaching them the lifestyle of Jesus Christ for their entire life. Well most of their lives, I'm very blessed to have a family which I know has a very strong belief in Jesus Christ. Of course we had struggled during those times. Who doesn't struggle though, with each passing moment inside of the carriage. I can tell by the atmosphere that my new party wanted to ask several questions. " If you want to ask anymore questions go ahead we are not shy. We will answer to the best of our ability.". The dwarf which whose name I had forgotten, " Jim. Is all the rumors about Adamsin true. How he killed without a second thought?!, seeing how you know him the most out of all of us. We were wondering what made Adamsin such a great Adventurer. Cause it seems to me that nobody could even touch the guy, I mean the children of Nord were told stories about his battles. The stories goes that it took all of the kingdoms armies to defeat him. Is that true Jim!?!". I wished I could tell them the moments before his death. I can't though, I wasn't there for his last moments on this earth. My heart hurts knowing that he was suffering alone, and his way of taking his pain out was killing those that appeared in front of him. I also had heard stories about Adamsin. Some of the stories I couldn't believe in them, some of them I had heard. They had made too much sense to be fake, I placed my shield on the wood floor of the carriage. " This sword was a gift from Adamsin. It's the only thing I have left of him, I guess cause all of the awful things I've seen. Had replaced my memories of him. I couldn't believe it when I had received the news of his death, what made it worse is that when he am had died they put a statue of him. That statue is not of Adamsin, that statue is the lost soul of Adamsin. I looked for days searching for his body. I never could find where they had buried him, so I decided to ask the King of Daragain. You know maybe he could give me an answer for my curiosity. His response to me was unwanted, " Jim do you think you have the authority over me?!. Does it really matter where he is buried at?!, if we do tell you where his remains are located at it won't change anything. Your so called guardian angle almost whipped out every single living creature in this world. I will let you continue to be a guild member, simple cause of your company with Adamsin. That is it though I will it support you anymore, whatever happens to Daragain. I hope you know that it is all cause of Adamsin!!!.". Every word he said I believed him. I just didn't want to believe that someone who saved me, could cause all this damage. I can't judge him though I don't have that right, I'm not saying what he did is good nor bad. I'm just saying that I don't have that right. Cause we have all sinned, y'all probably heard more about him during that decade long war. So there is no reason to ask me about Adamsin I knew him before that war broke out. That is the Adamsin I know, not that statue where he is slaughtering innocent lives. That is an abomination to his name. I've walked past that statue for years with hatred towards yet. And each time I felt hatred towards it I've prayed for my sins to be repented, I just hope that whatever happened to him. He can finally rest.". That probably didn't answer their questions about Adamsin. That all I could really say about him, what else is their too tell. I mean he had a family which I've never met before. So that information would provide nothing for them, it would just make his case even more heartbreaking for them. I walked out of the carriage. We are now on the path where I've buried many souls, I don't want my family to see this. This part of life my wife is already custom too. My daughter is too precious to this world, she isn't ready for this type of reality. I quickly put the cover over the back of the carriage. Another ten minutes we well be at the back entrance of Daragain, I took a long look at all of the souls that I've buried over the years. Before turning my back on them forever. The tree off in the distance brought some emotions that I've been holding in. She didn't deserve to go out like that, I walked slightly in front of the carriage. Once the guards saw me that quickly drawn their attention to something that was more important to them. Hearing the screams of the people of Daragain, these screams hurt me every time. I knocked on the side of the carriage, " cover your ears sweetheart!". I had to whisper to make sure that nobody hears me. While passing humans being burned alive, babies being ripped out of their mothers. Their mothers don't even know what life is. Hearing the cries of a newborn baby then the silence the would soon follow, we lost the guild which the paladin was sitting on the front steps. The redness in his eyes. He must have been crying I've the death of the Guild leader, she was the only person that actually cares about us. He didn't say anything to me. Even his party didn't reconcile with me, their eyes are still filled with hate. I can see the exit coming closer to us. The guards opened the gate, the gate slowly opened up. I heard another carriage behind us, then a voice I haven't heard since I last confronted him." Well Jim the crusader where do you think your Going!". That voice belongs to the King of Daragain!!!.
