THE NINTH HERO

In the enigmatic realm of Pandora, a world teeming with mystical beings, including dragons, elves, dwarfs, beasts, and humans, a malevolent force rises. Known as the Demon Emperor, his insatiable thirst for power drives him to conquer and annihilate the peaceful races that inhabit Pandora. Countless lives have been claimed in the wake of his destructive reign, plunging the realm into fear and despair. Amidst this darkness, a figure of immense authority and benevolence emerges—the Supreme Goddess Rebecca, the ruler and deity of Pandora. Recognizing the imminent peril faced by her cherished races, she and her divine counterparts decide to summon eight exceptional individuals from another world to aid in their struggle against the Demon Emperor's tyranny. But destiny takes a cryptic turn when Karna, a seemingly ordinary 21-year-old boy, is unwittingly entangled in a summoning ritual. Lacking the extraordinary talents of the chosen ones, Karna's presence in Pandora becomes a perplexing anomaly—a result of an unforeseen glitch in the summoning magic circle. Initially sympathetic to Karna's plight, the Supreme Goddess agrees to return him to his own world. But her compassion swiftly transforms into ruthless disdain, banishing him to Pandora with a cruel declaration that his insignificant existence is unworthy of her divine attention. Sympathetic to Karna's, another goddess extends her compassion to him, unknowingly bestowing upon him a gift far more powerful than one could imagine. In a realm where swords clash and magic weaves its intricate dance, where adventures paint the landscape with both heroism and treachery, the saga of the legendary ninth hero is poised to unfold. Follow Karna on his transformative journey across Pandora as he seeks to unravel the veiled mysteries lurking beneath the sea of conspiracies. Will he find his way back to his roots? Will vengeance course through his veins, or will he triumph over the relentless dangers of Pandora? Only time will unveil the answers to this epic odyssey.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapters per week: 4 Note: This story won't have any harem in the first hundred chapters, and I am also not going to just throw females at the MC; there is going to be a proper plot for each of them. Chapter-11 Karna's Despair [Part-2]

Outside the room, the two armoured beings walked through the corridor; one of them carried a feeble body of a man on his shoulder.

As they walked on the corridor, then, the one who was carrying Karna spoke, "Hey, are we really going to send this man to the demon empire? Their whole territory is tainted, because of which the teleportation magic circle does not connect to that place." The other one, hearing his words, spoke, "You idiot, we don't have to send him to the main land; just the boundary region near the Chain of Titans, that would do the trick."

"Hmm, your right"

Meanwhile, somewhere else

"What?!, Are you sure?! Chasity" Luxuria asked, looking toward the veiled woman, who wore a violet-coloured dress; her hair was black, and her irises were violet-coloured like two beautiful gems.

"Yes, mother, I went to see whether or not mother Rebecca had sent back the human who had arrived here by mistake, just out of curiosity, but upon reaching near the throne room, I saw two demi-god level guards who were taking the same human in an unconscious state toward the divine hall where the teleportation magic circle is."

"Not only that, they were also discussing sending him near the location called Chain of Titans in Pandora."

Hearing her words, Luxuria frowned.

"What should we do, mother?" "He won't survive a month in that place without it."

"If his affinity to mana is at a low or mid-level, all that mana present in Pandora would just kill him in just a month of time, before he could adjust himself to the surroundings mana, which would take him months to achieve."

Chasity asked in concern. As a goddess, she also felt a sense of responsibility toward the mortal who mistakenly arrived here.

"We can't directly help him, or Rebecca will..." Not completing her first sentence, Luxuria thought for a second or two before again speaking, "hmm, but we can indirectly help him."

"How? Mother"

"Okay, Chasity, I'd like you to visit the Hephaestus Workshop and..."

After some time, the two armoured guards carrying Karna were about to reach the divine hall. The path they were on was the vertical line of a "T," while they were walking toward the horizontal line. Soon the turn came, and they turned to their left, only to suddenly halt their steps completely. Both figures did nothing after that and just stood there like they had turned into statues.

In front of them stood Chasity, who was adjusting her veil. Beside her stood Luxuria, who spoke in an admiring voice.

"Hmm, Good! Your charm is really the best thing for doing stuff like this."

"Mother!"

"Oh, don't pout; we don't have much time." Luxuria spoke while gently smiling towards Chasity. She then turned her gaze towards the armoured being who was carrying Karna.

Luxuria then laid Karna on the ground while his back was leaning against the wall. She than put her right hand on his head, and the next second, her hand started to glow with golden light.

After a second or two, Karna slowly opened his eyes and weakly looked around to find two giant white armoured figures standing on his right, looking into empty air, and on his left was the goddess called Luxuria, seeing whom he frowned at first. But then hearing the warm soothing words of Chasity, he calmed down.

"Don't move. My mother is just healing you. There are some internal injuries in your body that needs healing."

After the healing process was done, he asked them where he was? And when they told him that he was on his way to be sent to Pandora, he grimaced. He even asked the two goddess if they could send him back to his world. But Luxuria said it was not possible for now.

It was impossible for three reasons: first, one has to be proficient in space law at the same level as goddess Rebecca; second, the location of my world is only known to Rebecca; Karna's world can be anywhere in the vast universe. And the third reason was that even if they knew the location of the world, they would need a lot of divinity to send him back, which Luxuria and Chasity both lacked.

After hearing all of this, he wanted to say something, but his voice seemed to be trapped in his throat. The feeling of utter weakness that he was feeling was too much for him.

Seeing his sad and chaotic expression. Luxuria spoke

"I am sorry child. Has one of the goddesses it is also my responsibility to send you back to where you came from but, I…"

"Yes, it is. But you can't, can you?" Karan cut her off and spoke in a self-loathing voice.

"Yes." Luxuria spoke only one word but that single word made Karna lose all hope. But, Luxuria wasn't done speaking.

"Yes, I cannot directly help you, but I can provide you a helping hand that might be able to help you survive in that world."

Saying that, she turned to look toward Chasity and held her hand, who then handed her a green orb. Luxuria, who now held the green orb looked at it for a second then asked Chasity, "why is it green?"

Chasity replied in an embarrassed tone. "This was the only one I found in Hephaestus' workshop." "I didn't have much time to look for another one; you know I can only charm someone at his level for a minute or two."

"And mother are you even sure if it's gone work. I means mother Rebecca said that the orbs only connects to those with high mana affinity."

Luxuria ignored Chasity's words and moved the orb toward Karna and then asked him to put his hand on it.

At first, Karna was weary of what they were doing with him, but Chasity hurried him, saying there was not much time left before her charm would wear off the two guards.

Karna decided to do it, and just like the eight blue orbs that the eight human heroes had touched, when they first arrived here, the green orb also disappeared into thin air.

"What happened?" Karna asked in confusion.

But Luxuria ignored his question and spoke with a serious expression.

"We don't have much time left, child." "So listen carefully, once they send you to Pandora, the only thing that should be on your mind should be survival. I know you want to go back to your family, but that's not currently possible. So I hope you are prepared."

The words of Luxuria made Karan feel the reality of what was about to happen next. He looked toward the two goddesses and asked with a perplexed expression.

"Why are you helping me?"
