The end of the Battle Royal
The guild members of The Void's Owl charged at their enemies, Nyadi was leading this charge, he shot spikes made of metal aura, the golden constructs looked dazzling in the sunlight.
Brahma Valley was on their last legs, the participants of this Battle royal were not even that strong the only reason they had even the slightest of chances was because of the invisibility technique. Now that even their trump card, Jack's Explosion failed they were finished.
The Void's Owl quickly wrapped up Brahma Valley, making sure all of them were incapacitated or unconscious. The guild members then split up, finally making this battle royal a Battle Royal, and not a team fight.
The other members in the stands looked ecstatic, Feng Yutu was energetically hopping around, Long Ke Ai and Eos were also celebrating, it was one of those rare times where they were nice to each other.
Alice looked towards her guild members in the arena and her eyes shone brightly, with pride and happiness. This was her guild, her subjects, her friends.
Han Moxie had a crazy look on his face as he smiled viciously at the arena, 'How dare someone defeat my guild, destroy my plans.' he thought, 'I Han Moxie am the god of this world, who dares to challenge me.'
His eyes glinted with madness as he looked sadistically at Egor.
Egor, shivered he felt a malicious gaze on his body and quickly looked around but saw nothing. He assumed it be his imagination as he went back to celebrating, The Void's Owl beating Brahma Valley has lowered his guilt and increased his self-confidence.
1 hour later....
The Battle Royal had ended and the ranking was going to be released any moment now, The Void's Owl had thought extremely well, many of their members had eliminated a lot of people.
They dominated the Rankings, with 12 of them being in the top 25. The final battle was actually between Moriko and Nyadi, the two geniuses had an amazing battle. However, Moriko edged out in the end.
Even though Nyadi has insane regeneration abilities, Moriko gave him no time to absorb aura, to recover and the nature of Moriko's abilities beat him. As she just formed more and more phantoms, Nyadi could not handle it, causing him to lose.
Back to the present, Albert stepped forward, "Well done everybody, that was an excellent battle!"
"Brahma Valley and The Void's Owl stole the show today, it seems that the guild battle later on will be very exciting."
"However for right now I need to inform how the rest of things will be laid out. We will do the preliminary stages for the other classes first then go back to the next stage of the combat tournament."
"Tomorrow will be the Alchemy classes, then Architecture,Beast Masters, Forging, Healing, Scholars, Technology and finally Formations and runes. It will be the Earth and Mortal classes participating in this, similar to the Combat Battle Royal."
"All of you get a good rest and see you tomorrow at midday."
As Albert concluded his explanation, the students quickly left. Brahma Valley left the fastest, with their heads hung low and expressions full of resentment and embarrassment after all, they used despicable tactics and still lost.
The Void's Owl were the completely opposite, their chest were puffed up as the walked slowly through the crowds, they actually looked quite comical, especially Eos as his head was looking so upwards he was staring at the sky. All the participants in the battle royal were treated like royalty, especially Nyadi and Moriko as they were carried on people's shoulders.
The guild members disappeared into the distance as the walked back to their guild hall, their loud voices filled with happiness and joy were still heard by others even when they were miles away.
Idalia looked at the group and smiled, even if she dislikes nobles, she has to admit the atmosphere of that guild is amazing, they all love and care for each other, the feel the give off is quite similar to a family and she loves that.
The Next day.
The arena was filled up once again, everyone was very excited as today was the Alchemy preliminary stage. After a very exciting Battle Royal yesterday everyone was very expectant for the competition today.
Egor was already in the centre of the arena, he was going to try his best and prove that he can become an incredible alchemist.
Albert once again stepped up, "For the Alchemy preliminary stage, you need to make Mortal Moulting Pills. For each pill you make you get 1 point, if your pill is100 - 61% impurities you get no extra points, 60 - 41% 1 extra points, 40 - 21% 2 points, 20 - 11% 3 points, 10 - 6% 5 points and 5 - 1% 10 points.
(You may be wondering why the points are so high for less impurities. However to get that small amount of impurities is incredibly hard, after all, every being has impurities even plants and when Alchemist try to get rid of them it becomes quite difficult.)
When Albert finished speaking many contestants faces went pale, The Mortal Moulting Pill is very famous due to its insane difficulty to refine, it used by Tier 9s when they break through to Transcendence and it can still be used during early Transcendence to speed up the tempering of the body and the transition into a Pseudo-elemental form.
It is a Transcendence Tier pill unsurprisingly and requires a lot of precision.
There are only 3 ingredients, Shedding Mortality Fungus, Five Flame Obliterating Flower (FFOF) and Netherworld Anise. However the FFOF reacts very violently with Netherworld Anise and these two ingredients need to be combined before you add the Shedding Mortality Fungus. This is the main reason why it is so difficult to refine.
"Oh yeah, whoever wins gets 500 of each ingredient and 100 seeds of each ingredients, if you are in a guild this will be very useful and even if you aren't part of a guild you can still sell the rewards to a guild for quite a hefty sum." Albert said playfully, trying to instigate discord.
And instigate he did, the whole arena was full of energy, the guild leaders were very excited because if they got this reward it would help their start up greatly.
"BEGIN!"
The alchemists got to work, they were all given mediocre cauldrons and normal herbs.
Samael looked at Egor, he was excited to see the Titan's progress. Egor quickly grabbed the ingredients required, he began to knead the herbs, his slender fingers played and fiddled with the medicinal plants.
The other contestants were already in the process of refining for example a black haired girl from The Empress Pavilion, she is one of the favourites in this competition. She had beautiful silver eyes and was wearing a white and gold Hanfu.
The girl was concentrating on her cauldron and after a while slowly pulled the lid, revealing a radiant viridian pill.
Albert began commentating, "Wow, the first pill today was refined by Luo Bing and only 29% of it is impurities gaining her 3 points."
A lot of Alchemists where from Brahma Valley, around 50 of the participants and many of them were able to quickly refine the Mortal Moulting Pill racking up points.
The Void's Owl members looked worriedly at their Alchemist guild mates but all they could do is hope. The were all silently sending the encouragement to them, all of them were praying for another victory.
Samael looked at them and gritted his teeth, however he decided to believe in Egor and his guild mates, after the incident, after he berated the titan he saw his resolve, he saw his hard work and he saw Egor's Determination. So he decided to trust him.
Egor had finally stop kneading the plants and he placed them in the cauldron. His slender fingers were playing in the air, Egor was moving his hands as if he was a conductor and the furnace was his choir.
Time trickled by and Egor removed the lid, displaying a pristine pill. The Viridian pill looked dazzling in the sun.
People were shocked, even if Albert didn't say they knew how pure this pill was, it only contained 6% of impurities gaining Egor 6 points!

Info of the Day - Druids
The druids are a group of humans who fervently believe in the world tree of the elves.
They worship the tree treating it as the god of this world and are looked down upon by many.
However they have gained immense strength and created some very weird techniques during their timeline.
Some of the best druids have created a forbidden way of using runes.
They etch runes onto their skin and let that power flow through them. Even though they can do this with all runes they only do it with life and wood runes.
They adamantly hate fire, death and poison users.
