3 hours later...

The necklace stopped giving off aura and slowly fell into Alice's hand and the glowing aura retreated back into her body. As everyone woke up wondering what happened the protector quickly grabbed Sami and Alice and teleported them to the clouds above the market.

"What the hell was that boy?"

"I realised it was a growth treasure but I didn't know what would happen if it awakened, I just wanted to give Alice a present" Sami bashfully said

"Your lucky, if anything bad happened to her even if you were heir of the Forte Family I would have killed you myself" The protector threatened.

"Whatever, whatever" Samael nonchalantly waved off the Protector, "Now Alice tell us what that necklace does."

Excitedly Alice explained what the necklace is.

10 minutes later.....

It is called Athena's heart, a growth treasure. A growth treasure is a piece of equipment that grows when fed aura from its owner and only its owner, this will lead to Alice having a slower cultivation speed but the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

Athena's heart increases comprehension ( How fast you understand techniques and breakthrough bottleneck depends on comprehension) and as it grows it improves comprehension faster. The necklace can also transform into a 4 forms a spear, shield, owl and an aegis. (Athena is also represented by a Thunderbolt, because her father is Zeus however I do not want to give Alice another affinity)

The Spear has the attribute of absolute sharpness as long is there is enough cultivation it can pierce through everything.

The shield has the attribute of absolute defence there is nothing that can not be blocked.

The Owl is a sentient metal construct , it can do anything she needs it to from fighting to sending messages.

The Aegis is a cloak that will shield her from all prying eyes, it has the effect of hiding cultivation and reducing her presence. (Obviously it won't shield her from people with strong cultivation as the treasure hasn't grew yet)

"Wow, that's amazing Alice, I'm happy for you" Samael said while smiling at Alice, "Who would have thought we would find a treasure like that at a random vendor"

Alice's protector transported them outside the Forte household.

"Boy do not spread this around after all such a treasure will be desired by many and you don't want to endanger Alice do you?" the protector implored.

"Of course not!"

After Sami declared this the grumpy protector finally showed a slight smile and began travelling home with Alice.

"Byeeeeee Sami, thank you for the necklace"

As Alice and her protector disappeared Samael felt a hand on his shoulder, it was his parents.

"Em, before I explain let me say there was definitely no treasure"

"My son, you don't need to lie we already know" William noted as he laughed at Samael's silly excuse.

"What, How?"

"Sami, don't be stupid we are in the Dao realm and you think we wouldn't be able to detect such huge amounts of aura." Victoria jokingly said. "Even the Emperor detected it, your lucky us and The Emperor got there first."

"We created a barrier hiding you from other powerhouses so don't worry its fine"

"Phew, thank you Mom and dad, I'm going back inside to consolidate my cooking." Sami said as he ran inside.

Once Sami was gone, Victoria and William's playful and carefree expressions disappeared.

"Do those bastards think the reputation of Forte Family is fake" William snorted.

"Damn it they're are lucky we had to keep up the barrier or we would have killed them", Victoria raged "Also, why the fuck were all there faces hidden, it's as if they were hired?"

William facepalmed "Dear I think they were"

"Hey don't patronise me!"

3 hours earlier

After Athena's Heart began to awaken William, Victoria and The Emperor appeared above the market.

"Your majesty" they said

"Victoria, William" The Emperor replied.

"Let's set up a barrier after all we don't want the kids to be in danger"

"Alright"

The Emperor's POV ------

This would be a good chance to test their strength as The Emperor thought this he contacted his most elite subordinates dubbed the Ainnatirb Corps as they are the dark to Britannia's light.

They are elite and trained killers, they may not be the strongest on the continent however they have a formation that allows them to fight with strength above their own.

Back to Third Person------------------

As the three Dao realm powerhouses stood over the Market waiting for the awakening to finish, a dozen figures dressed in all black came racing towards them.

Feeling their intent to fight the three got into action ready to protect the children.

"Who are you?" Victoria shouted all she got as a reply was a jab to the throat however she easily blocked it and returned a flaming fist to the figure easily repelling them.

None of them could match The Three in strength, the mysterious figures' cultivation was between the 9th floor of the True Immortal realm and the 3rd floor of the Dao realm. Compared to William, Victoria and The Emperor's peak Dao realm Cultivation the figures were weak.

However the figures quickly regrouped and fought in formation which increased their strength to terrific levels allowing them to just barely match The Three.

William and Victoria got closer together and worked in perfect cooperation, beating back all their opponents while fighting Victoria had brought out her weapon, a set of boxer's bandages that occasionally clapped like thunder, arcs of energy jumped between the gaps and flame flashed on it's surface.

Whenever Victoria threw an attack a fist made of light followed dealing massive amounts of damage. Victoria lived up to her nickname as Asura, she was a monster on the battlefield.

As she repelled her enemy, she began charging up a stronger attack. She was ready to end the battle, the eerie purple of the Devil Element began to glow on her left fist contrasting the scorching Light element on her right fist.

This was a fusion of conflicting elements, which tripled the strength of her next attack.

A fist made of purple and white aura shot towards the figures blasting them away. The power released from the explosion of the fist was immense, it began cracking the space around them and the sky shattered like glass.

It seemed that their enemies were absolutely vaporised.

William looked around where the collision happened "They escaped."

"How?" Victoria asked confused.

"The space element, someone teleported them away lucky bastards"

"As long they are gone it's fine, after all, we just need to protect the kids." The Emperor said.

"Your right" Will and Victoria said.

3 hours passed like that, The Three Powerhouses did not experience anymore problems allowing them to peacefully watch over the kids.
