It was the afternoon in Konoha currently, with it being lively again.

It is the day before the finals begin, meaning that the month-long training is done for the Genin.

While some people did not train much, they were arrogant, thinking they were strong enough.

But out of the participants, particularly Naruto and Sasuke, they had trained to get even better than before.

Sasuke's reason is to be able to defeat and fight Gaara of the Sand.

And Naruto's purpose is to defeat Shukaku easier and help the village.

Over the month, Sasuke had gotten better at using his sharingan, taijutsu, and speed training to be able to use chidori against Gaara.

Naruto being able to master chidori fast trained the others Kakashi gave him while training in toad summoning and technique, while he trained me in rasengan, which Jiraiya didn't know he had already completed.

Naruto was sitting under a tree while leaving some clones outside.

Naruto's eyes had closed while it went dark for him, but Naruto already knew the reason for that.

It was a dark place that looked like a sewer. In the background, you could hear the pipes dripping water, reverberating the sound throughout the place.

Naruto had walked to his destination, standing in front of the large cage.

Naruto then explained Kurama's death to him being old, dying in his death bed, and hearing that voice and awakening in his past self.

I want to be as strong as possible to deal with the akatsuki quickly and be even stronger than I was when I was older.

Kurama: "If you want to be even stronger than before, you need to get to your old level of strength fast, then get stronger than that to face Otsutsuki and defeat them.

Naruto: Yeah, I was holding off on that, not wanting to damage my body, but now that you're awake, I can use shadow clones to a higher degree to get higher training results and get to my old level.

Kurama: What about the forms we had before and Sage Mode?
