"C-Chronas… why do you know my real name? I am meaning to ask you this one before, as I'm really confused right now, Chronas. So please enlighten me," I plead while still not opening up my eyes and just feeling her soft touches in my skin.

She didn't reply instantly and just let her hand play on my cheeks. But when she do- "The ability that I inherited from my father was not just the ability to stop time. Hence, the ability to manipulate the time in my will, Raylight. And one of things that I can do using that power is to read the past of someone. And I read your past, that's why I know that you are not from this world," -the explanation she delivers let me go silent as I didn't really think that the power of Chronas to manipulate the time is to the extent that she can see someone's past if she wants to.

"A-And are you not scared, t-to the fact that I am from another world?" I open my eyes and gaze at her beautiful face directly. And thank God, that when I met her eyes, it wasn't crying anymore. And only the remnant that she cries is only visible in her face.

Chronas smiled at me before she moved her head as a sign of declining, "No," she simply denied. I grow in curiosity once again.

"W-Why aren't you even shocked that someone can be reincarnated to your world? That's even a threat to consider though, because what if, some jackass gets reincarnated in this world and has some evil intention plan? What will you do?"

As I pour my anxiety to Chronas, she just brushes it all off by chuckling. I get pissed of course when she laughs at my concern again, but as I watch her laughing to her heart's content. I can't be mad even if I force myself to. Because how on earth- Livettia I mean you can get angry to a beautiful woman on your face laughing right?

"You know what Raylight?" She stopped herself and dashed the tears from her eyes from her excessive laugh, "You really have the imagination in your head. I commend you for imagining those possibilities that might turn." She continued with sarcasm.

I sulk and roll my eyes at her, "Well laugh at me and brush it off all you want Chronas. But please don't get shocked when in the future this world descends into deep chaos because of someone like me who got reincarnated and sees this world as his playground." I said.

Chronas did not reply again. I faced her to see what she was up to, and when I caught her staring again to the pure white skies of her consciousness. I copied her and stared again in the skies.

"Reincarnated beings are not new here in Livettia, Raylight." My head automatically turned to her as she let out that jolting revelation.

"What?!" I reacted. Making Chronas smile faintly and nod at me. "Yes, there are other beings from another world just like you regress in this world. But unlike you, who got naturally reincarnated because you met with an accident and died first. They are being summoned on purpose here."

I stand up from lying in the ground as I can't digest this shocking news Chronas brought up. Chronas' eyes follow me while her faint smile is still intact in her adorable lips.

"Continue what you're saying," I commanded as my eyebrows creased and we met each other.

Chronas obey and fill me up more, "Power and authority is everything in the nine-existing kingdom here in Livettia. That's why to add more power in their army, and to show more to other Kingdom that they are more powerful than the rest of them, and to build a gap in terms of power and to monopolize the authority. They start to summon beings from the other world using secret magic that they found in the runes of the old times. And since other beings can get unique and strong abilities unlike other normal beings here in Livettia once ascended. Other Kingdoms start to build an army of other worlders at their disposal to create a vast and wide margin to other Kingdoms. Though it is not really concerning for now since summoning one other worlders here requires at least ten pure-white stage users."

After hearing that long explanation from Chronas. The unresolved mysteries from my head start to get their answers. Especially the reason why I have some overpowered abilities from the start. And of course, the reason why Chronas isn't shocked at all to know that I am from a different world. Is because even since I ascended here. Other worlders that are someone else exist. And being used as a war-weapon because of their gifted skill.

And with that, as I pop the bubbles in my head. Another series of bubbles start to come up and want to be popped up by the truth. Though, I stop myself from bombarding Chronas multiple questions at once even though that's what my mouth and mind wanted to do. And only ask Chronas set of questions that can help me resolve my self-crisis.

"C-Chronas, you said to yourself earlier that you are before an apostle of a Goddess. So what an a-apostle really is?" There. I dropped the question that I meant to ask her since then when Zeus, The Thunder God Dragon, started mumbling about God and Apostles. And since Chronas admits that she is an apostle, and not a Goddess just like what I thought, she is the best person who can fill me up with this one.

I look away in Chronas and gaze up in the pure skies when her face becomes expressionless as I throw that question. I heaved a deep sigh, "W-Well, if you are not comfortable on telling me you can just pretend that I didn't ask that-"

"Are you ready?" Chronas cut me off with that question. I gaze back at her and look at her with so much confusion. "W-What?" I expressed. Because I am really off guard on that sudden question of her.

Chronas face became sad and serious, "Are you ready to know your true identity and accept the path that you will live from now on?" She challenges me. That makes my heart beat goes wild and makes my mind crave for the truth that she can offer. As I can feel that what she will reveal is connected to resolving my self-crisis.

I become serious and nod at her instantly, "Yes, I am ready to know it. So please Chronas, tell me."

Chronas stared back at me for a minute, but when she saw the unwavering determination blazing in my eyes to seek the truth from her. She smiled at me and looked up again in the skies before starting to reveal the truth.

"Gods and Goddesses exist in this world, Raylight. Though, only few people know about it because it's confidential. But They are not myths from the legends that keep passing down to the children in bedtime stories. Hence, they are true beings living in the summit to keep the balance of this world. And they are called 'Castellan' the supreme beings who keep the equilibrium in Livettia. The supreme law and the modulator of this planet. And unlike what others tell, that Gods and Goddesses are immortal. They are not. They also can't escape death. That's why to maintain the balance forever, Castellans decided to choose an heir. And they call it 'Apostles'. And the mission of an Apostle is two. One is to replace their God once its time has come. And two, is to choose another apostle to replace him so the balance will not be broken." The loneliness and sadness from the voice of Chronas is so audible that even my heart can feel it.

Then, Chronas stared at me and weakly smiled at me. "A-And since… I pass down all my power and will to you, you are now the new apostle of Goddess Chrovia the "The Goddess Of Time And Massacre", Raylight. You are now her new candidate who will replace her," She spilled. Making me freeze and stunned.

She smiled as she saw my reaction to her revelation, "And that is also the main reason why you are here in my consciousness, Raylight. I design this meeting when you reach a certain level that surpasses mine. So I can speak to you about you being my heir as the apostle. So you can be also weary about who you really are and your importance. And the reason why I didn't explain this to you before I leave was because you are not ready to know the truth yet. But now…" She made her face so proud while looking at me, "That you surpass me and even in the heights i didn't achieve. And can hold your ground on your own. You are ready to know the secret of this world. So I hope you will forgive me from hiding the truth from you…" She continued her speech and cried.

Though, as I tried to speak. I can't. Because my tongue is not functioning well due to that news she brought up to me.

Because who in Livettia can even believe that I am a candidate to be a God after just receiving the power of Chronas, right?! It's just to i-impossible! I can't believe this!

But as I remembered the taunts of Zeus at me when we were fighting and connecting the information I receive from Chronas right now. There is no in any way I can deny this.

I am really now an apostle… fuck…

I let out a heaved breath to calm myself. And as I am about to speak in Chronas. A sudden voice suddenly killed the peaceful set up we had.

[Alert! The Host evolution is about to finish. Kai!]

[Alert! The Host's new body is finally constructed and formed. Kai!]

[Alert! New set of abilities and unique skills will be added. And due to the evolution other abilities and unique skills of the host will evolve. Kai!]

Wait, what?! The system? And why now though, I still have a lot to ask Chronas! Why does it have to come in this way?!

I look at Chronas with displeasure. But she just stands after lying on the ground and offers her hand to me with a smile. She is still sitting on the ground and looking up at her.

I accept her hand and lift myself up.

"I still have more questions for you," I become honest. Chronas just laughs and smiles widely at me.

"I know, Raylight. But soon all the answers to the question that you wanted to ask will come in their own way. Just trust the time and process. And you will know what you are seeking." She said with a positive tone. I force myself to smile and be content, at least now. I solve my self-crisis even though I am still confused about many things.

Though, as Chronas advice. I will just let the time and the world do its jobs so I can find the answer to my questions in the future.

"I will miss you Chronas, can we still meet again in the future just like this?" my voice becomes broken as sadness and realization envelop me.

Chronas killed the distance between us and let my forehead rest on her. I close my eyes and seize the feeling I am feeling in that situation.

"I think not, Raylight. Because this is also my soul limitation. But do not freath, my child, because in everything you do and wherever your journey takes you. I will forever and will always be with you." She said, and in out of a sudden-

She kissed me. In the lips.

My eyes automatically widen open on that sudden turn of events. But before I can even do something back. Chronas releases my lips and tells me something.

"Goodluck in your journey, Raylight. And just a piece of advice. Don't trust anybody easily. Because not every person that will come at you has a good intention. Be weary. Though," she smiled at me genuinely, "I also pray to the universe that you will find the trustworthy and rightful people that will support you in your dreams and will guide you to the right path."

I didn't have the chance to reply to Chronas as I am still in a state of shock because of what she did!

S-She kissed me… C-Chronas kiss me… holyfuck my first kiss was Chronas…

[Alert! Transcending the consciousness of the host to his new body so the blessings from evolution can be implemented. Kai!]

"W-Wait, Chronas! How about the kiss! Why did you do that?!" I make an errand question as I feel that the system is forcing me to get out of the consciousness of Chronas.

Though, Instead of answering me. Chronas just waved her hand at me and sweetly smiled.

"Until we meet again, Raylight. May the universe be with you." Chronas said before that I finally being forced to get out of her consciousness and get back to my own consciousness that looks like a solar system of a compiled universe.
