Chapter 3 Finding a Home

"I deem you worthy to inherit my power." All Might said as Jin looked up at him in confusion. "Hahaha, dont worry I am not going to force this on you. Do you want accept my awesome power or not?" All Might continued.

"Yes if you're willing to give it to me I want it!" Jin said to All Might without lying. "You're as direct as I thought. My quirk is called One For All a torch passed down from user to user. I am the 8th user you will be the 9th." All Might said.

"One For All?" Jin asked. "Yes One For All, one person improves the power, then passes it onto another person, it grows as it's passed along. This is the truth behind my power. A power used to help those in need." All Might said.

"I will definitely live up to your expectations!" Jin said. "Good meet me at Dagoba Municipal Beach Park in 2 days in the early morning." All Might said before turning around and walking off. "YES, SIR!" Jin said as All Might walked away.

'Now what do I do for accommodations? Wait I have the perfect plan!' Jin thought before walking away. "But today I guess I'll sleep on a bench." Jin mumbled before walking away.

The Next Day in the Afternoon

"Damnit I wonder what happened to that guy who knocked me out." Izuku said as he walked out of school with a tear in his eye. "I am right here." Jin said while rubbing the back of his head. "You! Where is my diary!" Izuku said as he pointed at Jin.

"Right here." Jin said as he had it open on the page with the All Might signature. "IM-IMPOSSIBLE!" Izuku said as he grabbed the diary and looked at the signature. "IT-IT CANT BE! YOU GOT ME ALL MIGHT'S SIGNATURE!" Izuku said as he looked at the diary.

"Ya, and I am sorry for knocking you out, that wasn't me." Jin said as he calmed Izuku down. "Then who was it?" Izuku asked. "Have you heard of the sludge villain recently? I met him while I was walking and he took over my body and after that he made me knock you out." Jin explained.

Hearing this Izuku didn't think much of it as he was completely absorbed by the All Might signature. "So how did you get this!?" Izuku asked excitedly and then continued "I am Izuku Midoriya and it's a pleasure to meet you and I can't thank you enough for the signature."

'Technically you should be cursing me but anyway.' Jin thought as he said "I am Jin, I have no surname and I just recently moved here, I am currently jobless and homeless."

Izuku felt a bit sad for Jin upon hearing this but soon said: "You can come to eat at my house for lunch at least, considering how much I owe you."

"Really? You'd be such a lifesaver!" Jin said as he bowed slightly towards Izuku. "Don't mention it, it's the least I can do for getting me an ALL MIGHT SIGNATURE!" Izuku said as he got excited again.

"By the way, I haven't forgotten, how did you get this?" Izuku asked as Jin began to explain what happened yesterday with various half-truths and lies. While he was explaining Jin and Izuku began to walk towards Izuku's house.

After about 10 minutes they arrived and Izuku introduced Jin to his mother. "This is my friend Jin who I just met. He got me All Might's signature!" Izuku said as he showed his mother. "Wow! That's wonderful. I am Inko Midoriya, Izuku's mother you can just call me Inko." Inko said as she opened the door letting them in.

"Nice to meet you Ms.Inko as Izuku said I am Jin." Jin said as he shook Inko's hand. "By the way, I forgot to ask, but what's your quirk Jin?" Izuku asked filled with curiosity. "I am quirkless." Jin simply said.

Hearing this Inko looked a bit sad for him while Izuku looked like he was about to cry. "I've finally met a brother in arms." Izuku said as he literally grabbed Jin by the arm and took him to his room. "Call us when lunch is ready mum." Izuku said before shutting his door.

In there Izuku began to discuss with Jin from Heroes to villains and troubles of being quirkless. Although Jin wasn't from this world he was decently smart so he could make conversation without much knowledge on certain subjects.

Eventually, lunch was ready and Izuku and Jin went to eat. Due to him not eating for a day though Jin was famished so he ended up eating a lot.

"Wooh I am stuffed thank you for the meal Ms.Inko." Jin said as he bowed slightly. "No problem, by the way when are your parents expecting you back? Should I give them a ring?" Inko asked.

"Ahh, well that's a bit problematic since I have no parents." Jin said while scratching the back of his head. This wasn't exactly a lie considering he didn't have parents in his previous world either.

Hearing this Inko and Izuku were almost on the verge of tears. "Don't worry it wasn't too bad and in fact because of it I learned various skills, such as general housework, from cleaning floors to dusting book, to cooking and laundry I can do it all. I also know some sewing and I am not too bad when setting up electronics." Jin said while raising and grabbing his arm.

Inko was impressed by this and said: "If you have no place to stay I wouldn't mind letting you stay here if you do some housework."

'Just what I came for.' Jin thought as he said: "If it wouldn't be much hassle." Hearing this Izuku immediately laughed "Hassle, what hassle? I wouldn't mind having you around to chat with!" Izuku said excitedly as his eyes began to sparkle.

"Thank you very much then!" Jin said as he bowed. "I might as well start working effective immediately." Jin said as he began to do the dishes. In less than a minute he was done and the dishes were sparkling as if they were Izuku's eyes.

"Wow! You're so fast!" Izuku said as he looked at the dishes. "If there's anything else you need me to do Ms.Inko just say the word." Jin said before being dragged to Izuku's room. "I definitely made a good investment." Inko chuckled before sitting down and watching tv.
