Prologue Pt. 3

(Court of Covenant)

The man is sitting on his newly constructed throne. Around the room show one hundred more thrones of increasingly less grandeur.

This is new Hall of Chaos, a room where all the future gods of the mans faction will meet. First there are the Lesser Gods, they are the lowest form of god.

They have power over any mortal but in most cases would need two or three to become allies before attacking one of the stage above. There are sixty in total and there throne are situated furthest away from the mans throne.

Next are the Middle Gods, they are powerful gods who have not been deemed worthy to be seated next to the emperor.

They are also generally about half as powerful as the next stage. There are twenty five in total and they are located in the centre of the hall.

Lastly are the High Gods, they are the most powerful gods. They have such power the have been deemed worthy to sit close to the man. There are ten in total.

There are also the Servant Gods, these gods are deemed as important enough to be seated directly next to the man and are gods he keeps as direct servants.

Currently there are eight beings seated. The man as the emperor is sat on his throne. Just bellow him are Isha, the newly dubbed Chaos God of Fertility and Nature, along with Yerix, The Chaos God of Hunger and Rage who has become like a pet to the man.

Around them are the beings who currently make up the High Gods. Khorne, The Chaos God of Blood and Battle.

Slaanesh, The Chaos God of Pain and Pleasure.

Nurgle, The Chaos God of Disease and Decay.

The Horned Rat, The Chaos God of Scheming and Vermin.

Nagash, The Chaos God of Death and Undeath.

They are all seated silently, as if waiting for something. If you entered the room you would feel suffocated by the pressure these great beings give off.

Suddenly a flash of light appears in the room to reveal four figures standing in the room. One is stood upright, his many eyes are glancing in every direction.

This is indeed Tzeentch, he had been offered an ultimatum. Join the man, or die.

He slowly walks into the centre of the room and kneels. He raises his head towards the man as he stares down silently.

The man asks his decision, to which he replies that he agrees. The man smiles as he gestures to one of the seats close to him.

He had expected Tzeentch to surrender. Tzeentch is the smartest of the Chaos Gods, he realised that if he were to fight he would inevitably lose.

Tzeentch, before taking his seat tells the man of the gifts that he had prepared for his new lord. The first being a god he had kidnapped towards the end of the elven race, Liadriel. Liadriel was the elven God of the arts, Tzeentch had been using her as entertainment during his many study sessions.

The man stands from his throne and follows Tzeentch to one of the beings chained was standing. The man approaches her, rests his had on her head to reassure her. He slowly injects his energy into hers, this process takes a few minutes as she screeches. When it is complete the man releases the chain on the new Servant God Liadriel, Chaos God of Music and Poetry.

Tzeentch gestures to the next being, a woman of great beauty. He explains that he had kidnapped her from one of the few remaining god factions in the warp.

He explains that the remaining gods are sorted into different groups depending on who they sided with towards the end of the old wars of domination.

The first of these factions are the Gods of Humanity, led by an old being raised to godhood known only as The Emperor of Mankind. There are also the gods, Ulric, Morr, Shallya, Verena, Myrmidia, Ranald, Gunndred, She'ar Khawn, Stormfels, Solkan, Narlog, Katya, Kalita, Handrich and the known as The Omnissiah.

Next was the Followers of Khaine. They were led by Khaine, The Elven God of Murder. He is followed by Anath Raema, Atharti, Eldrazor, Hekarti, Morai-heg, Nethu, Shaimesh, Vileth, Hekatii, Qa'leh, Ynesth, Kokuto and Lhilitu, who is the woman Tzeentch had brought.

After was the Gods of Disaster. They are led by Ellinill, The Elven God of Disaster. He is followed by Addaioth, Drakira, Estriuth, Hukon and Mathlann.

Then are the Gods of the Desert. They are led by Khsar. She is followed by Djaf, Asaph, Sakhmet, Sokth, Ualatp, Szarekh and Usirian.

The Gods of the Wild are next. Led by The Troll King Throgg. He is followed by Draugnir, Amanar, Osushi and Krakenrok.

The Gods of the Green are next. They are led by the twin gods Gork and Mork. They are followed by Khakkekk, Great Maw, Fire Mouth, Feaster from Beyond and Yama.

Next are the C'tan. They are Star Gods led by Mephet'ran, The Deceiver. He is followed by Aza'gorod, Mag'ladroth, Zarhulash, Llandu'gor, Tsara'noga and Dracotheon.

Lastly are the Gods of Order. They are led by Ynnead, The Whispering God. He is followed by Grimnir, Cegorach, Sotek, Ladrielle, Loec, Caxuatn, Itzl, Admnan-na-Brionha, Xholankha, Quinsberry, Brobat, Beesbok and Aerion.

There is also the Lone God Triton whom is powerful enough alone to stand again the rest with his ally only known as The Greater Good.

Some gods had managed to avoid destruction due to the strength of there individual factions, of which even the God of Chaos would've had trouble fighting.

Other gods, mainly of the smaller factions have survived so long due to feeling of mutually assured destruction between the different larger faction. If one faction went on the offensive the others would intervene.

Of course the Gods of Chaos were the most powerful, but even they would suffer major losses when fighting against the forces of Humanity, Khaine, Order and Green.

The man nods along with this new knowledge. He then gazes towards the chained Lhilitu. The man approaches, gaze still lock with hers.

She slowly grins, feeling the pressure the man is giving off. The man, confused, looks to Tzeentch. Tzeentch explains that the Gods of Khaine serve power. Whomever the most powerful is has the right to rule.

Tzeentch continues to explain that the man is currently most likely the most powerful god there is.

The man one again looks to Tzeentch. Tzeentch continues, explaining that a god grows in power through his followers. The amount of servants is important, but so is there power. The man begins to realise, as all the gods in his new faction are his servants, which means that he has grown in power exponentially. The number of higher and middle gods seen as his servants is unprecedented as even lesser gods are difficult to make serve you.

The man nods again, he slowly reaches his hand down, pressing it against Lhilitu's head. He injects his energy again.

She begins to transform, not showing pain but pleasure in the act. When the process is finished she is reborn, The Servant God Lhilitu, The Chaos God of Sex and Prostitution.

The man gestures towards two of the three remaining Servant Thrones, allowing Lhilitu and Liadriel to take there seats.

As they head to there seats the man turns to the last being. He nods at Tzeentch to continue.

Tzeentch explains that this being is Malal, the final Chaos God. Malal, The Chaos God of Anarchy and Freedom. He goes against the rest, killing indiscriminately. The other four High Gods, tired of his harassment set a trap for him. The surrounded him, wrapping him in chains. These chains are made up of donated energy from the four gods.

Malal quietly stares up into the mans eyes, deep malice present as he gazes into the man. The man grins staring back, projecting his energy into the challenging god. The man immediately allows Malal to do the same.

Now a battle of will, energy and divinity is taking place. Anarchy and Betrayal, Loyalty and Freedom. They can be similar in many ways, betrayal can often lead to anarchy and anarchy often breeds betrayal. Freedom often breaks loyalty and loyalty stops freedom from growing.

Both beings, who's powers are at the pinnacle of the universe are having a battle. But not a battle of blows or even words, this is a battle of spirit. They are battling constantly, blow for blow they are wielding there energy, testing there will. But there was an end.

Eventually the man rose victorious, he had made to god of freedom submit to loyalty.

The other gods in the room look shocked. They know the pull that a gods divinity have on them, it's made Khorne revel in combat, Slaanesh seek the sickest perversions, Nurgle obsess over plague and Tzeentch over knowledge.

A gods divinity is woven into there being and can only be conquered through true power.

The man removes Malals chains and slowly makes his way back to his throne, Tzeentch and Malal following there knew lord. As the man sits the room is filled with an eerie silence.

The man speaks, he tells his now seven high gods of his new plan, a plan to break the remaining gods. A plan to bring them to there knees or wipe them out.

The gods, hearing his plans can't help but show feral grins. The man tells his gods to gather. He requires a show of force.

The man and three of his high gods, Slaanesh, Tzeentch and Malal will be going to visit the Gods of Khaine. Shown the way by Lhilitu they stroll into the Fortess of Khaine, through one of its hidden passages directly into Khaines throne room.

The man has no desire to hide from Khaine, nor does he need to. He and his four servants walk into full view of the Gods of Khaine before stopping.

These gods are startled by what they witness. Slaanesh, Tzeentch and Malal, three high gods amongst Chaos following the man. The would not dare to think that they could so easily enter there fortess unharmed.

The man coldly look towards Khaine, whom quietly stares back at him. The gazes meet and the exchange meaning, no words involved. The man gestures to Lhilitu to start he role in this war.

Lhilitu greats her old companions, she starts to preach of the power the man showed her, about how her powers grow by serving him. About his glorious armies and awe inspiring servants.

Tbe Gods of Khaine refuse to believe, refuse to believe the woman who had left them. Tzeentch, Slaanesh and Malal, insulted by what they had witnessed start to release there power. They overwhelm the middle and lesser gods in the room whilst there leaders look to each other in silence. This is until the man raises his hand, he release his own energy. His energy easily suppresses his unruly servants, he brings dread to all those against them too.

The Gods of Khaine hold there breaths, even Khaine himself. Khaine may be a high god but he is by no means the most powerful, even the five original chaos gods would be able to defeat him. But the man in front of him had three of them serving him, showing power that is beyond what he has seen even from the great gods of old.

The man puts on a smile and walk further into the room. He apologizes for his servants. He begins to explain his new faction. He looks between them all and asks them what they would like to do, would they join him or would it be war.

The first to speak was Eldrazor, he respects honour and strength. Both of which can be seen within the man. A man who would openly walk into the enemies base whilst outnumbered to give his enemy a chance of surrender.

Soon after Atharti, she is a god of pure desire and what is more desirable than the most powerful man in the universe.

He calls them both towards him, Khaine watches intrigued. Eldrazor and Atharti slowly kneel beneath the man, he slowly pushes his energy into the two beings.

After the transformation has finished much to the surprise of the remaining Gods of Khaine they see the two now more powerful Gods of Chaos.

Eldrazor, the new Chaos God of Blades and Honour. His power before was of the level of the lesser gods outside the Chaos Faction. Now however he could even last a few rounds against Khaine.

Atharti on the other hand had become the Chaos God of Desire and Seduction. She was weak, one of the lowest gods still alive but here new power has grown to a similar level to Eldrazor. Her divinity of desire was strengthened when saturated with the energy of loyalty.

Slowly but surely all of the gods came forward, either blinded by there desire or fear they came forward to join him. That is all but Khaine.
