Why?

So, this mission is a lot more dangerous than I thought it would be. Not that I did not think it would not be, but I just did not think it would be this difficult. 

Altair told me what he did not tell the others. This Deity is still alive for this long because of us. As our souls are connected to each other and then to them, so we both are responsible in some way or the other, even if we did not know it. 

Altair cannot die and my cycle of rebirth will never end. Right, so a person's rebirth cycle tends to go for a few hundred cycles before their soul is allowed to rest in the afterlife. 

Mine should have stopped a long time ago but ... it did not and I continued to keep being reborn, that is because of the connection between Altair and I with the Deity. 

So while they are observing the sleeping Deity, Altair and I will be moving around, gathering our strength.
