The Misfit's fit.

"why does it always have to be her?!!!" Didi shouted, her voice cracking . She tried to hold the tears in her eyes but that didn't stop them from turning glassy. She swallowed the lump in her throat trying to absorb whatever force she could from her surroundings. "it's always her" she muttered in a small voice . "Its not like that Didi try to understand she needs me now!, I'm her friend you know? and don't make a scene your being dramatic" Kyle said trying not to shout . He had to appease Didi. Bailey needed him now. "Well your mine too..." she continued childishly but weakly as she knew she already lost. He wasn't even paying attention anymore . "..." " I'm heading out now , here's the money for the bill alright?...see you later." and Kyle was off. Didi struggled to keep her tears in as she sat alone in the restaurant..watching the door oscillations before it finally shut.

Rain storm.

It was 11am now and Didi was getting ready to go out with Cheryl. She wore a slim jeans and a yellow hoodie with her comfie snickers.

They were to meet at the local market and from there they were off.

On the bus Didi received a text from Cheryl telling her she was a bit delayed so she should get something to eat while waiting.

Didi blew out a long breath..looking out through the window and noticing the dark clouds that were gathering, she wondered if today was really the right day for an outing...

Arriving the local market, it was a bit crowded and that made the environment stuffy. She headed for a less crowded area and noticed her phone was ringing.

'too late.'

Kyle was calling.

Since they hadn't made any plans she grew curious as to why he was calling and called him back.

After three rings at different intervals she realised he really wasn't picking and grew a little worried.

She texted Cheryl so they could reprogram their outing while giving her the rain excuse..little did she know she actually spoke the truth.

Heading for the bus station , she bought a ticket to his street and sat down in the bus.

Her mind conjured up all sought of scenarios as to why he didn't pick up.

'Maybe he fell in the shower...then he wouldn't be calling.'

'Did he choke?....oh my gosh no',

'Was he sick...'

'Did he drown in the bath?...then how did he call'

Her mind kept up imagining horrible scenarios and that kept her at the edge of her seat all through the short journey.

Before she knew it the storm struck and a heavy rain started to pour.

Ignoring the rain falling on her , she speed walked to Kyle's apartment and was for once glad he lived close to the road.

'I just want to take a warm bath, lie on a warm bed and cuddle'. she thought to herself.

This was the only thought going through her mind probably to happen after they must have resolved the problem at hand.

On reaching the front door of his apartment... she saw two pairs of flip flops..one was Kyle's and the other wasn't, it belonged to someone having petite feet. Her heart skipped a beat , but she calmed her anxiousness , worry taking over her mind once more.

She knocked his door twice , but the voice that responded was not who she was expecting....
