Lorraine raged out at Zi Yan. She knew that this was his entire plan, not Zong Li. He knew Zong Li style of working and intended that to happen. Lorraine ran away and had Chen Sha brought her back home.

Lorraine was as if sleeping but not sleeping. Even in her dreams, she felt very anxious.

Qian Xu had to be thinking that she was a great liar. What should she do?

After sleeping for more than three hours and she couldn't sleep anymore, Lorraine simply got up and went into the kitchen to made breakfast.

Lorraine quickly scanned through the data. There was indeed no problem.

"But, is it okay to go back to work this quick?"

"Of course not. He had killed four people in one night!" Feng Lin sighed. Lorraine dialed Qian Xu's personal terminal. Dial failed. An automatic reply message appeared: "The other party had turned off the communication, please contact later."

Feng Lin asked: "What's wrong?"

In the office, Lorraine sat restless and kept checking the time.

Two hours later, she tried sending a text message: "Are you awake yet? I want to talk to you."

After waiting for another hour, she was unable to bear it anymore and dialed Qian Xu's personal terminal.

It was connected. However, after a few rings, it was hung up.

An automatic reply message appeared: "The other party declined the call. Please contact later."

For the past many years, Lorraine had contacted Qian Xu countless times. This was the first time it appeared 'declined'. She stared at the short message and read it back and forth several times. She felt so sad that she wanted to cry. Qian Xu really didn't even want to talk to her anymore?

Lorraine plucked up her spirit and sent Feng Lin a message: "Can you send me Qian Xu's dormitory address?"

"You couldn't contact him yet?" Feng Lin was on guard, "This is not a good sign. Maybe a psychiatrist needs to be involved."

Lorraine took shuttle flying bus to the base's dormitory area.

Most single soldiers would prefer to live in the cheap and convenient dormitory. Qian Xu was an orphan and had no family, so it's only naturally that he always lived in the dormitory.

Lorraine rang the doorbell, and a chubby robot appeared on the gate's screen with chubby eyes.

It said adorable naively: "Hello, guest! Master is not at home. Please come to visit later or contact master directly."

"Where is your master?"

"Secret."

"Can I go in and wait for him? I am his best friend."

"Cannot."

Lorraine felt that she was stupid as well that she crazily wanted to befriend with an instructed programmed robot.

She sat cross-legged on the floor and decided to wait for Qian Xu to return.

The robot was knocked and its big round eyes rotated quickly. After searching in its intellectual brain, it found no such situation and couldn't calculate what the solution should be. The robot repeated again: "Please visit later or contact master directly."

Lorraine asked without turning her head, "Did your master regulate that no one can sit at the door?"

"No."

"Then you just leave me alone."

The robot's round eyes continued to rotate quickly. Its body was heated up. Finally found a solution.

It sent a message to the master: "There is a woman staying at the door. Not going away. Do you want to call the police to catch her?"

Followed the sent out message was also a photo of Lorraine's back view.

Qian Xu replied: "No. Wait until she leave then let me know."

An hour later, Qian Xu sent a message asking the robot: "Has she gone?"

"No."

The robot sent him a video.

Lorraine sat cross-legged on the floor facing the door's screen as if she planned to stay long.

"Look like your model is very old. Have you been with your master for many years? How many girlfriends has he dated?"

"Secret."

"Could it be boyfriend?"

"Secret."

"What can you talk about? Talk about whether you should lose your weight already?"

The robot's round eyes turned into mosquito-repellent coil eyes and the processor made a buzzing sound.

The robot asked Qian Xu: "She spied master's secrets from me. Do you want to call the police to catch her?"

Qian Xu replied: "No."

Three hours later, the robot actively sent a video to Qian Xu.

The robot asked: "When will you leave?"

Lorraine clutched her stomach without energy: "Tell your master, I haven't eaten lunch yet, and I'm very hungry. I hope he won't let me miss dinner too."

"You can leave to eat."

"Tell your master, if I don't see him, I will not leave."

Qian Xu was struck dumb. Lorraine had guessed that the robot was contacting him. Even though she had waited for four hours, she just wanted to make it clear that she would not give up and had to see him.   

Qian Xu gave the robot instruction: "Let her come in the house. There are nutrients in the fresh-keeping cabinet. I will go back in three hours."
