Dream or Return

After the explosion Sam only felt complete emptiness around himself, he tried to open his eyes and move his body but couldn't do anything, he felt like going into eternal slumber.

Suddenly he felt like his body was getting lighter and he was getting sucked into something and then lost his conscious.

After some time Sam started to get conscious. first, he felt his own breathing, then he slowly opened his eyes, only to see a completely dark and ordinary room which he hadn't seen in the last 15 years.

He tilted his head on one side and saw a bulky mech poster which seems like a mech he fancied when he was younger, it was the best mech with very good firepower of this generation and also his dream mech.

He then tilted his head to other side and saw table with a messed up book and some mech figurines which seem oddly familiar to him yet completely unfamiliar like he hadn't seen them in years but also recently seen them. He then forcefully remember them, only to feel a splitting headache and again lost consciousness.

When he regained his conscious again and open his eyes his room has somewhat light coming from his window. Sam felt like he had a dream as he had come to his past when he was only 17 years older after self exploding with mother zerg to death.

Only to get startled why is he able to think shouldn't he be dead. Fully awoken he started to look around finding himself he was indeed in his room when he was a teenager what he saw before losing consciousness was real not some illusion.

He then looked at his smart band on his wrist which showed 4 Feb 4067, 5:30 am, he swiftly opens his room window only to see high rise buildings. He hadn't seen any human settlements in at least 5 years when he was fighting zergs in space.

A sense of melancholy overcomes him feeling this might be an illusion, he didn't dare to close his eyes fearing everything might vanish, but this didn't stop tears coming into his eyes, he pinched himself on his left lightly at first he didn't feel pain due to excitement, he then applied more pressure only then he felt pain and after confirming everything was real he relaxed and sat on his bed.

Then he started to reminisce through what he had gone through and experience thorough his life.

"His name was Sam, given the date, he will be 18 in 2 months, one thing no one knows about him was that he came from another world. While he didn't remember how he died in other world but, one thing he remembers he loved mechs in his last life as well because of his memory of many of the mechs anime and novel.

He remembered these memories when he was 6 years old. after remembering all these memories he was like fish in the water with all those ideas he had about mechs. this world where from farming machines to fighting machines all based on mechs.What design he could implement what improvement he could make!. He couldn't help but smile while remembering this part. since then his life was pretty much uneventful till when he was 12 when his mother and father suddenly disappeared leaving only a mech design with a neckless and a video message saying they would return very soon.

From then on he lived alone with a caretaker whom his parents have left, he then touched the neckless on his neck feeling it there he becomes more satisfied, because when his parents didn't return on his 18 birthday he threw this neckless in a special drawer, only to later find it was a treasure from an ancient ruin which his parents found with the mech design and it has a locator attached for his parents and because of his fault they couldn't locate this and never return.

He only found about this when he was in the military and they scanned this neckless just before his last mission, he regretted his action but couldn't do anything now he has this chance he will definitely find them this time as well as the other wrongdoings he did in his last life.

More he thought about his past life he determined himself he will definitely correct direction of the events which causes humanity to get caught in that situation, While he may not remember all the events of his life but still remember most of them.

When he tried to recall those events he surprisingly remembers most of them, in his last life when he lost his love he stated to remain cut off from the rest of the world, the only thing he did was to kill as many zergs he can to take revenge for her.

Thinking about "her" his eyes grew moist again she was a completely unknown person to him before he entered army university. She was one of the top recruits in the university and was the best mech pilot in the whole batch of students while he was dispirited from the loss of his parents. He doesn't know why she grew interested in him but they later become lovers before her accident. he was determined he will definitely never let that happen to her again ".

He then proceeded to open his smart band to check for all the news to clarify that all he remembers is correct or not.

While checking the headlines for the major news, he grew astonished how clearly he remember all this.

He closed his smart band, took a deep breath and declared to himself from now on his countdown begins to make things correct.....
