You have no idea what I can do for her.

"Why, do you have any other owner, Secretary Oh?" Bae Yuri tilted her head sideways as she spoke.

Oh Jaehyun held a stern gaze as he looked back at the model. There is humor in his gaze, but the model either fails to see it or chooses to ignore it. He suspected the former.

"If there is anything you wish to say to her, please let me know so I can create an appointment for you," he said smoothly, refusing to address the fact that the model just referred to him like he was some kind of pet.

"Ah, really?" Yuri sneered a little. "I highly doubt that even with an appointment, she would really agree to see me."

Oh Jaehyun's face remained stern as he waited for her to continue. And Yuri, seeing that her words brought no reaction to the handsome secretary's face, began to scowl.

"Would there be any reason as to why the Lady Chung would not want to see you?" His tone carried a sense of awareness, but it seemed that the woman in front of him refused to see it just then. 'This woman had a knack of missing hints, didn't she?' Oh Jaehyun thought as he prepared himself for a sharp admonishment of some kind.

"I'm pretty sure you're aware, given that you follow her around. But that fiancé of hers," she said in an irritated tone. "Has been my boyfriend for a year or so."

She observed Oh Jaehyun's reaction and found nothing notable at all. The anger that started earlier when she saw the pair walking around Grand Gala Square that day had already erupted and she wanted so much to strangle the nonchalant secretary in front of her.

'What? So, he knew?' She thought to herself as she stared at Oh Jaehyun.

After a few seconds of silence, the elevator doors opened to the lobby floor. Sighing, Oh Jaehyun stepped out of the lift and turned to address her again.

"Ms. Bae, I'm pretty sure you're aware, given that your 'boyfriend' already decided to publicly announce his relationship with Lady Chung," he said. "That you hold no argument here. I, for one thing, did not hear any news about CEO Song having relations with any woman this past year."

Yuri's mouth twitched.

"And even if it's true," Oh Jaehyun took a slow, long sweep of the lobby with his eyes. "I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone finding out since the risk alone is enough to destroy the career you built here."

Bae Yuri stared at him for a few seconds before the sound of the elevator closing shook her out of her trance. Quickly, she stepped out of the elevator too, her mind swirling with thoughts.

"You..." she lowered her voice. "Do you plan to use this information to blackmail me? To blackmail Hyun-Shik? Was this Chung Ji-Eun's plan all along then?"

"Whatever do you mean, Ms. Bae?" Jaehyun shook his head.

"Is she just planning to use Song Hyun-Shik to get to Song Corp?" Bae Yuri demanded.

Oh Jaehyun displayed a slightly annoyed expression before running a hand through his hair.

"Ms. Bae," he scoffed. "I don't know where you're getting your ideas, but I think you have it all wrong."

He paused as he stepped closer to the obviously livid model.

"Let's get a few things straight. The Lady Chung doesn't have any interest in Song Corp apart from actually helping them," he said coldly. "The Song Family came to the President with an actual marriage offer after hearing that Chung Ji-Eun had constructed project plans for the failing Song Corp. Had Lady Chung known that you are in the picture, somewhere, she wouldn't have held hands with the Song Family in marriage. After all..."

Oh Jaehyun tilted his head to one side, copying Bae Yuri's pose earlier when she mocked him.

"Let's be honest here," he continued. "The Song Family and their business is nearly at the end of their rope. And getting well acquainted with the likes of the Chung Family is a sure way to survive. Survival, that is the Song Family's choice."

He smiled at her as he continued.

"The Chung Family, on the other hand, stands at the top of the industry right now and they won't be coming down anytime soon. They neither need help nor do they need exposure. They chose to show willingness to help and loyalty since the two families have known each other for a long time. They can choose to end this engagement and they wouldn't be affected in any way. But the Song Family... Well, I'd say they wouldn't be so lucky."

"What are you-" Yuri started, but Oh Jaehyun cut her off.

"I'm quite sure you've heard this from your 'boyfriend', Ms. Bae," he said. "That the Lady Chung will cut off the engagement should you ever change your mind. But think about this too, what's the real reason why you haven't revealed your relationship with the heir to the Song Corp?"

Bae Yuri's mouth dropped open in surprise at Oh Jaehyun's words.

"You were already given a lot of chances to reveal it, but you chose not to," his eyes narrowed as he spoke. "Even allowing your 'boyfriend' to marry someone else. So, tell me. What are your plans, hmm? To wait and see if the man you're interested in will be able to turn things around with their business and with their money?"

"You... you..." Yuri choked on her words.

"Me, what?" Oh Jaehyun stepped even closer then. "Let me tell you this, Ms. Bae. Lady Chung is not an easy woman as you think she is. She went into this engagement knowing exactly what kind of man she would be marrying. Do you think she doesn't know anything about you?"

He looked down on her, challenging her with his eyes.

"You have no idea what Chung Ji-Eun can do," he said, his smile disappearing. "And as someone who stands by her side, you have no idea what I can do for her... Ms. Park Min Young."

Oh Jaehyun stepped away to give the model some space. The look in her eyes clearly showed her surprise and desperate anger at being called by her other name, but since there were plenty of people in the lobby, she chose to keep her mouth shut. Not that she'd have many words for the obviously triggered secretary anyway.

All she could do at the moment was to grab the ends of her shirt and make a fist with her holding it, all to stop her shaking hands.

She couldn't believe she just lost to a damnable underling in a battle of words.

"As I said earlier," Oh Jaehyun bowed lightly to her as he prepared to leave. "If there's anything you wish to talk about with the Lady Chung, please let me know so I can create an appointment for you."

Oh Jaehyun turned to walk towards the side doors of the building.

"Have a good day," he said as he walked away.
