The next morning, I heard about all the news that spread from word to word. But Jimmey did console me a lot last night. I felt better because of his words. Regardless of all these facts, I do know that Stella was somehow hurt inside. I mean, her boyfriend just made it clear that he doesn't like her, and she just killed a man. There's no way she's going to get away with it. I am not going to let her get away with it either. I would do whatever it took to destroy her.
I heard a sudden knock on my door as I was gazing at the morning sky. I went outside to look for it. It was Akuma. But the strange thing was that I was completely unsurprised that he came to check on me. My human perception knew that he would have come for me for some reason. I knew that he was going to come and console me and try to make me feel better, but I wasn't in the mood to talk to him right now. "I don't want to talk to you right now, Akuma," I said as I tried to close my door again. But he quickly put his hand between them, leaving me unable to close the door. "Hey, Pearl, I just want to talk. I am sorry for what I kind of did back then, and I am worried that you're hurt because of all that stuff that happened yesterday. I was just worried about you. I know things are pretty harsh for you, but I promise you won't feel lonely," he said. "Yeah, why would you suspect I would be fine after all of this? Losing someone is really a big deal. And it's not just some bullshit problems." I burst out in anger. I knew that I couldn't control my temper right now, but it wasn't really my fault either. I was just having a hard time facing reality. "I know. I am sorry that you like this too. And I just wanted to apologize for the things I did. I never actually meant to take you as a joke. It was all because of me. I know I can not help you right now, but I hope you get well soon." As he was about to leave, he said. "Wait! Actually, you could do something. I am hungry. "Could you make me food or at the very least buy me some?" I asked with wandering eyes. "Yeah, sure! Anything for my sad lady," he said jokingly. I began to realize that boys can be mostly insensitive to our emotions, but they can also be very good at consoling us and making us smile for various reasons.
After a few minutes, he came back with some delicious food. I was excited to eat all of them. He unpacked the food he bought at a small table in my room as I got out of bed. "I don't want to eat alone," I whispered. "Well, are you not going to ask me to eat with you? That's very selfish of you to not ask me to be honest." He said it like a kid. We began to eat together. Later that day, we started hanging out more as Jimmey was staring at us. One day at lunch, I was just eating peacefully. Jimmey took a seat right in front of me. "He really does treat you well, doesn't he?" He asked as he glared his beautiful eyes at me. "Yeah, he does. But he's not you." I replied as I saw a soft grin on his face."Look, you're not lovely, but you're nevertheless gorgeous. I tend to avoid your stare because I find it very draining. Although you don't have to be in my life forever, you really must. If you had abandoned me, I would have died instead of crying. You are my life, so I would choose that over you. So here's the situation. I would never let you leave as long as you were with me and not with anyone else. said he. My heart pounded faster than ever. His eyes were shining at me. "I know you're being real right now. The times I pretend I am not attracted to you are all messed up. I know we are not meant to be together, and it would be best if we stayed away from each other. It is just not possible," I said as I stood up and prepared to leave when he suddenly grabbed my hand. "No. Everything is going to be fine, as long as you are with me. Stay. Please," he said. His words were just holding me back. I knew that if I didn't stay away from him, things were going to get way worse than this, and I couldn't let it happen. But his words were just making me stay. "I wish. I really wish." I replied. "That's all we need."
