Chapter 1 The Engagement

Reina's POV

Myself and the Travolta brothers have always been childhood friends. We used to be so close and did everything together. Anderson was the older one and rather, the impulsive one as well. He was the exact definition of bad boy. He was this tall, masculine and intelligent guy. The only thing that made him look responsible was his black hair that was always combed backwards.

I don't really remember much about Dane, the younger brother. He was quite a loner. The only reason he would hang out with us was because Anderson would always force him. I stopped hanging out with him when I turned eight. He was quite boring.

One afternoon at the Freeborn mansion, my house. Myself and Anderson overheard our parents, discussing our engagement.

"I think it would make more sense if Reina got engaged to my first born son, Anderson to strengthen our alliance and bond" we heard Mr Roger Travolta say.

"Yes, I agree. When they're both of age, we'll get them engaged" my dad Mr Fernando Freeborn said.

"I think it would make more sense if we got Reina engaged to Dane instead. I mean, he's only free and lively anytime she's around. It would enhance his communication and social life" Mrs Jane Travolta gave her two cents.

"No darling, I think Anderson would be a better option. I mean Reina seems to enjoy the company of Anderson a lot. She doesn't hang out with Dane anymore so I think it would be better if we got them engaged" Mr Andres Travolta said to his wife

"Hmmm you're right though. She seems really fond of Anderson. I think she likes him" Mrs Travolta agreed.

Hearing this, young Reina couldn't help but blush cos it was true she liked him.

"So it's settled, we will get them engaged when Reina clocks 18" said Mrs Freeborn.
