Revelations and Liberation: The Gateway to Knowledge

They regarded him with solemn expressions, as if wiping away any remnant of the past bewildered and emotional looks, and replacing them with an air of reverence fit for a ruler.

Every eye in the room seemed to be fixed on him, as if he held the key to some great mystery.

Even the most skeptical among them could not help but feel a sense of awe in his presence.

He seemed to know exactly what was expected of him, and he carried himself with a confidence that was both impressive and intimidating. His eyes locked onto theirs, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.

It was as if he could see into their souls, and they knew that they had no choice but to stand before him and be judged. The weight of his gaze was almost too much to bear, and yet they could not look away.

In that moment, Elyon had transformed from a child into something more.

He had become a figure to be respected, admired, and even feared. He radiated an aura of power and authority that was impossible to ignore.

Elyon observed the sudden shift in their demeanor with a calm and detached expression.

Elyon couldn't help but feel amused by the situation, thinking to himself, 'What the hell, give me a break! I know I look good, but enough with the staring. Do you want my image etched in your memory or something?'

Deep down, he understood that his charm was still that of a child's, and he eagerly anticipated the reactions he would receive once he truly grew into his own. The prospect of the future brought a mischievous grin to his lips.

'Wait till I hit puberty,' he mused quietly. 'Men will be green with envy, and women will be left in awe...' His thoughts trailed off abruptly as he realized that his daydreams were becoming a bit too vivid for the present moment.

Pushing those thoughts aside, Elyon refocused his attention on the present.

He knew that he had to be careful, especially in the company of those who saw him as a child. But as he sat there, watching them fawn over him, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

One day, he would show them all just what he was truly capable of. And when that day arrived, he knew that the world would tremble under his feet.

Duke Roman remained speechless, his countenance a portrait of shock.

However, with a remarkable effort, he composed himself, masking his emotions with an air of composure and regained his usual calm expression.

'In all my years, I have never encountered such a thing. Noah must have lost his senses, who could possibly pose a threat to this child? That is, if you could even call this magnificent being a child. It is a creature of both beauty and terror, an angel with monstrous capabilities. When I heard that Naamah had passed shortly after giving birth, I assumed the child would be weak and frail. How foolish I was to have ever pitied this magnificent creature. It is laughable, truly laughable.'

As Elyon's attention shifted, a subtle release of his ethereal aura went unchecked, unbeknownst to him. This phenomenon had an unforeseen effect on the middle-aged woman standing on the opposite side of the room, who had been accompanying Duke Roman as Elyon's tutor. In an instant, her body froze, her complexion paling as if drained of all color.

Her body trembled uncontrollably as she struggled to form words, her speech a garbled mix of gibberish. "This... is-impossible! Absurd! W-Why? How?" she managed to stammer between fits of shaking.

The shock of the situation had rendered her speechless, her mind unable to comprehend the reality before her.

The woman trembled uncontrollably and overwhelmed by the situation, she fled the room in a hurry.

Despite the commotion, no one took notice of her departure.

She had entered the room unnoticed, and remained invisible throughout her stay, even now as she made a scene, she was deemed unworthy of any attention.

Dismissed without a second glance, she was left to her own devices and the shocking reality before her.

Hagar, on the other hand, stole a few glances from time to time.

Her face remained beet red and her mind still foggy, making her appear like a lost puppy to Elyon.

After a moment of stupor, Duke Noah was the first to awaken.

He let out a short sigh and lowered his gaze to the desk before him. Pulling out a few neatly arranged sheets of paper from the drawer, he began to scribble intently.

As the silence in the room became almost unbearable, Duke Noah finally broke it, albeit in a subdued manner, as he bent down over a piece of paper, still scribbling away.

"May I introduce to you the youngest and final Lance, Elyon Lance," he said with a hint of pride in his voice, as he gestured towards Elyon.

Regaining his composure, Duke Roman introduced himself.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," he said, his voice calm and collected. "I'm Duke Roman Lazio, the head of House Lazio." His eyes met those of Elyon, and a brief moment of silence passed between them.

The weight of their respective titles hung in the air, but Duke Roman maintained a friendly demeanor.

Elyon greeted Duke Roman with a nod and a warm smile, responding, "The pleasure is all mine."

As Duke Roman accepted Elyon's greetings, his gaze swept across the room, his eyes coming to rest on the vacant space where the intended tutor had stood just moments before. He furrowed his brow, a tinge of confusion clouding his expression.

A pang of discomfort washed over Duke Roman, and he shifted his gaze to his daughter, who appeared lost in thought.

He let out a deep sigh, muttering under his breath, "Trying to leave the nest so early, huh?" It was a reflection more for himself than for her. "What a day. And here I thought I had seen it all."

Clearing his throat slightly, Duke Roman composed himself and introduced his daughter. His composure was already slightly flustered by her behavior. "May I present to you my beloved daughter, Hagar Lazio," he announced with a warm smile, though his unease was still evident.

He couldn't help but suppress a sigh as his eyes shifted between his daughter and the imposing figure before him.

It was difficult to ignore the fact that they were both around the same age, but he refused to let his discomfort show.

After a brief introduction, Duke Roman chose to remain silent, his lips pressed together in a tight line. It was a subtle display of disapproval, but one that he hoped would not go unnoticed.

Duke Roman's thoughts raced as he stared down at the boy before him, determined not to let his composure falter.

'You won't get anything out of me, little monster,' he thought fiercely, his eyes narrowing in defiance.

"I see," replied Elyon, his face maintaining a composed expression. He spoke softly, his voice carrying a soothing quality, yet with a hint of emotional detachment that gave him an air of coldness.

Taking a quick survey of his surroundings, Elyon let out a deep sigh. 'Can we get this over with?' he thought to himself. 'What a waste of time. I didn't come all the way here just to be inspected like some common criminal.'

He was already disappointed by the absence of the person he had hoped to meet, and enduring this tedious process only added insult to injury.

'If there isn't anything worthwhile here, I might as well go out and practice magic. I won't waste another moment on these empty pleasantries with these Noble puppies.'

Duke Noah seemed to read Elyon's mind as he spoke in a calm and collected tone, all the while continuing to scribble on the same piece of paper he had been holding onto.

"Upon careful consideration and review, I have decided to lift the restriction on your movements outside," Duke Noah calmly spoke.

Elyon's heart skipped a beat, finally, he was free to move around as he pleased. But his surprise didn't end there. "You are also allowed to enter the library," the Duke added in a low tone, almost as if he was whispering a secret.

Elyon was caught off guard, his surprise almost causing him to blurt out a "what". Though he managed to conceal his emotions well enough, tho his eyebrows betrayed him by twitching ever so slightly.

This minuscule detail went unnoticed by everyone.

Elyon's amusement was quickly overtaken by an overwhelming feeling of ecstasy upon realizing the potential of gaining access to a library filled to the brim with magical books.

He knew that the duchess, who was a magic fanatic, would be particularly interested in these books rather than the ordinary ones.

Elyon was shocked and bewildered at the thought that no one had been interested in them before.

With a mix of emotions, he knew that he would make the most of this opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into the magical world.

'What? That easily! I had expected the issue to drag on for much longer, but it seems it has been resolved today. Perhaps, the intervention of those individuals played a part? Although I would have liked to express my gratitude,' he glanced at the guests beside him and shrugged, 'Nevermind, I find myself at a loss for words. Regardless, this changes everything for me. Finally, I'll have access to all those wonderful books I've been longing to read. Even though my attempt to sneak into the library failed, I'm still convinced that the Duke's estate, especially the Duchess's library, holds the key to everything I need. It's no secret that such a library would house a multitude of books, and I am determined to gain access to it and immerse myself in the treasures of knowledge and stories it holds.'

Although Marduk is her brother, the possibility of finding anything related to the Awakened society in the library was very slim, given their unwavering commitment to secrecy.

However, the mere thought of uncovering such knowledge has sent his heart racing with excitement.

'Finally, after all this anticipation, I will have full access to the library. Oh, how I cannot wait to delve into its vast collection of treasure.'

'The gaping void of ignorance about this world and the tantalizing contents of that book had been gnawing at my insides. But now, at last, I can satiate my hunger for knowledge and hoard all that the library has to offer. Farewell to the boredom, frustration and ignorance that once plagued me! '

Once sparked by interest, one is driven to know every little detail about the subject.

"Thank you," Elyon said as his lips curved into a beautiful smile.

He was seated in a cozy corner of the room, basking in the warm sun rays that gently filtered through the window.

The morning sun illuminated the dust particles that hovered in the air, creating a surreal ambiance.

The sunbeams painted the room in a golden hue, casting long shadows on the walls.

The scene evoked a peculiar sensation among the guests - a blend of delight, grandeur, and awe-inspiring wonder.

Upon raising his head to receive the gratitude, Noah was met with a breathtaking view that left him motionless.

Despite the awe-inspiring beauty before him, his heart yearned with a deep longing.

In that moment, he felt as if he could see Naamah through some divine power, almost as if she had manifested herself through the very essence of the divine.

The Duke struggled to contain the flood of emotions that had been welling up inside him, threatening to burst free like an overflowing dam.

Unable to keep his composure any longer, he lowered his head and closed his eyes, hoping to escape the painful reminder of what he had lost in exchange for what he had gained.

After receiving approval from the Duke, Elyon gracefully excused himself from the room, barely able to contain his excitement from the success of their meeting.

As he made his way out, a feeling of contentment washed over him, pleased to see that things were beginning to take shape and progress smoothly.

After making his way to his destination, Elyon breathed a sigh of relief as he realized that he was no longer held back.

With renewed vigor and eagerness, he took his first steps towards the next chapter of his life, excited for what was to come.
