Chapter 15

Loye waited nervously as the person on the other side of the door approached. The footsteps were soft, indicating that it was someone light on their feet. Loye tried to calm himself down, reminding himself that he was here to pass a trial, and he couldn't do that if he was too afraid to face whatever was on the other side of the door.

The door opened slowly, revealing a woman standing on the other side. She had long brown hair that was tied back in a braid, and she wore a simple dress that looked like it was made of a soft, flowing material. She looked at Loye with kind eyes, and for a moment, Loye thought he saw a hint of recognition in her gaze.

"Good evening, my son," the woman said in a language Loye didn't recognize. She walked towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder, as if checking to see if he was alright.

"Why are you not asleep yet, my son?" the woman asked again in a language that Loye didn't understand

Loye was taken aback. He didn't know this woman, and she was speaking in a language he had never heard before. But he could tell from her tone that she was kind, and so he nodded his head in response, hoping that his body language conveyed a polite greeting. Although he didn't understand what the woman said, but he could tell from her body language that she was asking him why he wasn't asleep yet. He nodded his head, hoping to communicate that he was okay. The woman smiled at him and gestured towards the bed.

"Lie down, my son," she said, gently pushing him towards the bed.

The woman entered further into the room and walked towards the bed pulling Loye along with her. She looked at him with concern and placed her hand on his forehead, checking for a fever. Loye didn't resist, but he was still confused. Who was this woman, and why did she think he was her son?

The woman continued to speak to Loye, asking him questions about his day and if he needed anything. Loye couldn't understand her words, but he appreciated her kind tone and gestures. He smiled and nodded along, hoping to convey his gratitude and politeness.

Loye lay down on the soft bed, feeling the weight of the day's events bearing down on him. He wanted to explore this strange place, but he was too tired to do anything except sleep.

After tucking Loye into bed, the woman proceeds to walk towards a small table and turned off the lights, plunging the room into darkness. Loye felt a sense of unease at the sudden change, but he forced himself to relax. He closed his eyes and tried to calm his racing thoughts.

As he lay there, Loye made a mental note to explore the house once the woman left. He was determined to figure out where he was and what was going on. But before he could do anything, he felt a wave of drowsiness wash over him. Loye felt his eyelids growing heavy as he lay in the bed. He couldn't remember the last time he had slept on such a comfortable mattress, and the soft blankets were like a warm embrace. He closed his eyes, intending to just rest for a moment, but before he knew it, he had fallen into a deep sleep.

He fought it for a moment, trying to stay awake, but it was no use. He was too exhausted. Loye drifted off into a deep sleep, starting to feel the onset of a dream similar to the trances he had earlier. He didn't know what this dream, but he was determined to face it head-on, thinking to himself that he may have some clue as to how to go about the trial.

As he slept, Loye found himself in another dream where he was standing in an empty space. The empty space in Loye's dream was like nothing he had ever seen before. It was as if he was floating in a void, with nothing around him but darkness. He couldn't see anything in front of him, and he couldn't even feel his own body. It was a strange and disorienting sensation, and he felt as though he was weightless, floating in a vast sea of nothingness.

But then, suddenly, he saw a flicker of light in the distance. It was small at first, but it grew larger and brighter as it approached him. As the light drew closer, Loye saw that it was the Spirit wolf who had sent him into this dimension.
