The Attack

Dave moved closer to Ashley and stopped in front of her, while Ashley finally looked away from him, to Helen, and she went back eating her food.

"Why didn't you use the dining table?, Seems you lack some table manners" Dave commented, and Ashley got angry by his insult and faced him.

"Excuse me! Am I not free to eat wherever I want again?" She questioned him, while chewing her chicken in her mouth.

"Mm, when you're thru eating, meet me in the parlour to show you around" Dave replied, ignoring her question, and he stepped out of the kitchen, heading back to his room.

"Silly, I can never be your wife, so you don't dream of it!" Ashley threatened, while Helen stared at her in shock.

Dave heard what Ashley said, as he was stepping out, but he didn't turn back to face her, As he left the kitchen and went back to his room to change, his sleeve shirt and trouser into his night robe

Dave wasn't bothered about what Ashley said about not being his wife, as he had hidden-cameras everywhere in his house including his kitchen.

He went back to his room, watching her on his television connected to the kitchen while he changed into his night robe..

Ashley was thru eating her food, and she stepped out into the parlour removing Dave's suit jacket away from her shoulder, as she remembered she was still wearing it.

She was left in her singlet top again, while she stepped into his parlour remembering he had asked her to meet him there..

Later, Dave came out wearing a singlet top too, and shorts and he went to took the opposite seat across to her, while she continue to stared at him, as she watched him sit..

"Sorry I didn't introduce you earlier to my staffs. I was tired and didn't knew when i slept off in my room" Dave said, as he took his seat, and looked up at her.

"Okay" Ashley faintly replied, waiting for him to concluded, and show her to her own room, as she was so tired, and wanted to rest for the night.

Dave gulped as he avoided staring to her huge bossom and he said, "Well as intending couple to be.. Don't you think is best we share the same room together, or do you prefer a separate room?."

"Separate room is better" Ashley quickly answered, As off course not, she wouldn't share a room with him..

"Hm, okay. Come with me, let me show you to your room if you need anything then you can speak with Helen, As she's my cook and caretaker" Dave replied, as he finally stood up to show her to her room.

Ashley stood up next and followed Dave from behind, as they walked back to the corridor, And approaching a room door, Dave stopped in front of the second room close to his, as his own room was at the extreme end, facing the corridor.

He opened the room door, and stood aside for her to go into it, as the room was neat, as Helen usually cleaned the room everyday as part of her work.

"Do you like it?" Dave asked her, as Ashley got into the room.

"Is okay, I can manage it" Ashley replied, as she walked passed him into the room. As the room was big, and had enough space, while the bed was positioned at  the farther right concern in the room, having a set of four dinning chair, with a table at the center. A long couch and a flat screen TV hanging brightly on the wall..

Dave stood by the door, watching her closely, As she was looking around the room and had forgotten that he was still standing by the door, and staring at her.

Ashley finally turned to face him, and Dave quickly looked away from her, as her big boobs were flashing thru her singlet top, and showing her pink buds.

"Do you use this room too?" Ashley asked him, wondering why the room was neat.

"No" Dave replied and turned to leave. As he remembered that Mark had called him to informed him about a new recent attack, at one of their warehouses, so he stopped and told her,

"I will be out for tonight till tomorrow morning. Get some sleep, and goodnight rest. Good night."

Ashley wanted to stopped him and asked him some more questions, but she thought against it and watched him leave..

Ashley finally closed the door and went to sat on the big king-size bed in the room. As she thought about her younger sister and her father, As she missed them both, as she wasn't even with her phone to gave her younger sister a call..

Ashley sighed and fell backwards to the bed to rest for the night.

Dave went back to his room first and dressed back into a black shirt and trouser, As it was already past 10pm in the evening, before he got the call from Mark.

Dave left his apartment, and he drove back to the blacks temple and went in straight to the hall to meet Mark..

"What happened?" Dave questioned, As Mark and some of his men where in the hall, and were preparing to drove out to the location of the attack, at one of their secret warehouses.

"Boss! There was an explosion and it destroyed all the goods" Mark said to Dave, as they stared to him.

"What do you mean by explosion?" Dave asked, as he stopped and turned to face Mark, as he wanted to went to his private room to get some weapon..

"Boss, the warehouse was bombed and we cannot go there now, As it has alerted the police officers too" Mark reported.

"Hmm.." Dave sighed..

"See to it which of our men escaped, and what truly happened that lead to the attack. I know we have competitors but who would want to destroy our warehouse?." Dave subtly questioned.

"Probably is a setup boss?" Mark responded, and Dave only stared at him..

"Once the police officers left the location, you should find out next what happened and keep your distance." Dave warned as he dismissed Mark and the rest, and he went back to his private chamber in the Black temples.

Dave knew his father had competitors and enemies too, and now he was the new boss of their secret underworld business. He has automatically inherited his father's enemies too, and now their target was to destroy the company to weaken them too.

Dave had previously shifted some of their new deals that just arrived away into a more discretely places and not all his men knew about it, as he feared some might betrayed him, especially after the hot blonde beauty, whom he later discovered was Mr Dot daughter, came to attacked him.

Dave had also sacked some of his men that she had beaten to stupor, realizing they were of no use to him, so he could fully focused and be more alert, of who his enemies truly was.

He decided to called Gape immediately on phone, to step into his private chamber, as he also trusted Gape, to find out what truly happened.

Dave thought about Thomas and Luke being behind the recent attack, but he knew no matter how stubborn and difficult Thomas proof to be, nor challenged him to resign, Thomas could never went as far as destroying their father's hard labour, just because he was CEO.

Gape came into his room as he got the flash missed call from Dave..

"Boss you sent for me?" Gape asked, as soon as he stepped in..

"Yes I did" Dave replied, as he turned to face him.

"Find out what truly happened, in the warehouse. First I don't understand how come the explosion, As it will only mean that someone among us, betrayed us and went to plant those explosive there. Although I have already assigned Mark to find out about it once the police leave and are thru investigating the area. But I also want you to investigate who is behind the attack." Dave said.

"Okay Boss" Gape replied, and turned to leave.

"Did you inform father about it?" Dave questioned..

"Not me Boss, Mark already did, same time he was calling you to inform you about it" Gape replied, as he stood by the exit door of Dave's chamber.

"Okay, you can leave" Dave dismissed Gape.

Dave didn't wanted his father to knew of the recent attack, as his father has recently been having some heart problems too, The more reason he thought, made his father to resigned and assigned him as the new CEO.

Dave sighed and took out his laptop to investigated on the matter, and to checked on the news reports and videos of the attack and bombed warehouse that has been published.

His phone rang, and staring at the caller, Dave discovered his father was the one calling him and he picked it immediately.

"Hello Dave, I got the report of the new attack, you shouldn't go to the warehouse until the police are thru with their investigation." Mr Jeff warned.

"I know father" Dave replied curtly, as he watched some videos of the destroyed warehouse online..

"I don't know who is behind it Dave, but the person would pay dearly once I find out" Mr Jeff stated.

"Is okay father, not all the drugs were delivered there, I had divided it and kept some in a new underground warehouse, As I didn't told you about after I was attacked" Dave said.

"Attacked by who?" Mr Jeff questioned out, as he wasn't aware of Ashley attacking Dave, the previous week.

"Nevermind father, I had already dealt with it. Is nothing to worry about." Dave said

"Are you sure Dave?" Mr Jeff questioned with a worry tone..

"Is nothing serious father, I will find out who's behind this new attack" Dave said.

"Okay Dave," Mr Jeff sighed heavily and the call finally disconnected.
