chapter 2 Damon

siting calmly behind his desk, a young man with sharp facial features, sharp pointed nose, chiseled jaw, thin lips and dark eye.

His face was the epitome of handsomeness, so many ladies would die just to have a conversation with him....but he wouldn't care.. he is cold, ruthless and domineering.

his name could make anyone tremble.

hearing the sound of door opening. he didn't need anyone to tell him who it was. there were only one person present at the company who wasn't scared of him.

" bro guess what" the voice which happens to be that of his brother said

" what is it Damien.... I don't have time for this." he said looking slightly agitated

" your bride is back in the country, and dad has fixed a dinner tonight at the mansion" his brother said smirking at him

" hmmm I heard"

" make sure to be there. don't miss it" Damien said

" I won't.... now get lost"

" fine " Damien said and left the office

Straightening his gaze Damon smiled lightly, ....today is going to be a good day he thought.

Coghlan mansion

A black stopped in front of a massive building, stepping out of the car Ruby glanced at the building in front of her, and a rear smile appeared on her face.

" how I missed being at home" she whispered to her self

stepping into the house she met their family butler Mr Robert

" hello Miss welcome back " he said smiling at her

looking at Mr Robert Ruby smiled at him. she had known him all her life he was also like a father figure to her, his been taking care of her family for as long as she can remember.

" hello uncle... how are you " she said

" fine miss please come in.... your room has been arranged and your parents are in the living room " he said

" OK " she said a moved towards the living room

" Ahhh big sister your back....i missed you " her little sister Raina said running towards her.

" I missed you too Raina...you really haven't changed" she said hugging her sister tightly.

" Elder sister you really should pamper me you know....am the apple of your eyes" indeed she was.

Raina was spoiled and pampered since birth. especially by her elder sister who wouldn't let even an ant hurt her younger sister. though she was spoilt Raina has a sense of respect and is extremely friendly. she wasn't the type to scheme against people neither was she the type to let people hurt her without doing the same.

" let your sister come in.. will you" their mom Mrs Rita Coghlan said

" hello mom..... hello dad" Ruby said greeting her parents

" hello baby.... how was your flight " her dad Mr Coghlan said

" was fine dad"

" hmmm get changed and come down for lunch " her mom said

" OK mom " she replied and walked upstairs towards her room .

entering her room she signed walked to her bathroom to take a shower...

after her shower she wore a normal white dress and came down for lunch .

going to the dining table she met her mom her dad and sister already sited.

" sorry I came down late"

" it fine... we just sat down her" mom said smiling lightly

" alright dig in " Raina said

"umm I have something to talk to you about Ruby"
