The next day at school, immediately Maisie reached her classroom, before she could drop her bag and compose herself, was when Mr Denise entered the classroom and asked her to return to the principal's office as soon as possible.
Her friends were yet to arrive. Isolde and Danisa were like, latecomers. But it was unusual for her not to see Xav this early morning. Anyway, along with her bag, she strode alongside the hallway to Principal Collin's office.
He was already waiting outside the office with a grim expression on his face as he caught sight of her from afar. Maisie could tell at that point that he was disappointed and there was nothing else to do than send her away from school before she could hurt anyone else.
Breathing heavily, she entered the office where the man already sat. Mr and Mrs Derek were sitting in his front. They refused to return her greetings or spare her a glance.
