Chapter 11 ( journey to the Zeddicus clan)

Back at the pure heart clan,the servants prepared the luggages of Ellie. This was the day she was to travel to the Zeddicus clan to be with queen Zelda and her royal household.

Ellie wore a frown on her face as she was dressed by her servants. She played with her fingers and bit her lower lip as she looked downwards. Alma noticed her discomfort as she looked at her through the mirror and immediately dismissed the other servants; leaving both of them alone. 

"What troubles you my princess?"Alma asked placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I am not troubled Alma. I am just worried and nervous."Ellie said.

"Worried and nervous about what exactly?"

"I haven't really gone to the Zeddicus clan since I was born and I don't know if I can blend with their culture...or whatever."

"My princess,how you feel is normal. You are good enough- if that is what you are trying to say. I believe that as soon as you get there you are going to be comfortable. And I trust the queen ,she loves you so much. She will make sure that your stay there is comfortable and peaceful. So cheer up; you're going to be fine." She said, trying to cheer her up.

A smile lit up on her face and looked at Alma keenly."I don't know how you do this but I appreciate it. Thank you Alma."

"You're welcome my prin...sorry Ellie."Ellie giggled.

Ellie had already finished with her preparations and was heading towards the carriage when her father spoke from behind.

"And my little pup is leaving without hugging her father goodbye."He paused- obviously waiting for a hug from her.

"Oh daddy!"she ran towards her dad and enveloped herself in a hug."I am so sorry dad. I looked for you but I couldn't find you,so I thought you'd gone out for your meetings."

"I can't go out for a meeting without hugging my daughter goodbye,"he kissed her forehead.

"But are you sure you want to go. If you are uncomfortable with it,you can stay behind."Valerius said.

"No father,I am going to be fine. I know the king and queen will treat me well...and no,I don't want any guards or servants."she smiled as she held her father's arm.

"Not even Alma?"he asked surprisingly.

"No father,not even Alma; I would have loved to take her with me but I am a princess that will one day rule the pure heart clan - and in order to do that,I have to handle some things on my own."

Valerius nodded his head in agreement and smiled at her.

"In that case,we are settled then. I shall write to you."He said.

"You don't have to. It's too early for that...I will miss you father,"she hugged him.

"I am missing you already, little pup."

"Okay I have to go now. I love you father."She said as she ran towards her carriage. She got to her carriage and her servants helped her in. She peeped from her window and blew a kiss to Valerius and he waved at her,and the carriage rode off.

"Bye my shining light."He murmured to himself as he watched the carriage leave; then he retired to the palace.

Ellie arrived at the palace of King Darius. She exclaimed at the magnificence of the building as she came down from her carriage. The palace had a big fountain and a statue of a werewolf sitting pretty on top of it. The porch was surrounded with neatly shaped flowers and the ground was beautified with neatly cut green grass. 

She smiled as she saw colourful birds as they perched on the green grass. She was shortly ushered in by the head servants. As she walked into the palace,she waved at the female servants who looked her age standing by the entrance. They,except for one, waved slightly at her. Ellie noticed the one that didn't wave; she had a look of disgust on her face but Ellie paid no attention to her and continued into the palace. 

She got to the throne room and bowed before king Darius. He wore a smile on his face as he set his eyes on her. He majestically stood up from his throne and approached her with his arms stretched out for a hug.

She embraced him and Darius was about speaking before Zelda came in.

"Oh my goodness!" She walked dashingly towards Ellie,cupping her face in her hands and embracing her. " You look beautiful as always." Ellie gently released herself from the hug and bowed slightly before her.

"It is so good to have you here princess Ellie. I never knew you'd come." Zelda said smiling.

"How can I turn down the request of the queen? I am honoured to be here, my queen." She bowed again.

"How lovely!" said Zelda; then she turned to face Darius.

"My lord,permit me to steal the princess from you at this moment. She needs to rest her head from her journey." She requested.

"Of course. The princess should be tired. Please ensure that she is well taken care of." He replied as he headed back towards his throne and sat on it.

"We have a lot of time to catch up with Princess Ellie. Don't we?'' He joked.

"Of course your majesty. I'll leave you now."She bowed again before she walked away with Zelda.

The servants helped Ellie take her bath - afterwards she was given a massage and made to rest in her bed.

"Would you like us to do anything else my princess?"asked Alina; a young female servant about Ellie's age. She seemed shy as she found it difficult to look at Ellie.

"No. What is your name though?"Ellie asked.

"I am Alina, my princess." She bowed slightly - still avoiding the gaze of Ellie.

"I like you Alina. You seem shy and calm.Are you girls to attend to me while I'm here?" Ellie asked.

"Every servant is obligated to serve you, my princess." She replied.

"It's alright. You may leave now." She smiled at them,and they bowed before they left. 

The darkness of the night overwhelmed the shining light of the day. Ellie was being prepared for bed by Alina and two other servants;vAria and Lilia. Alina combed and styled Ellie's hair, Aria massaged her toes and Lilia dressed her bed. They continued till a knock came at the door. Lilia went to check who it was, she opened the door to meet the handsome face of prince Ramiel. He stood and winked at her, making her cheeks flush.

He was a beauty to behold; with short dark hair  and a chiseled body. He wasn't so tall but his height was above average. 

"My...my...my Prince. You are welcome my prince."She stuttered, as she bowed before him.

"Can I see the princess?" He asked.

There was just something about his looks that made him special. His eyes were beautiful hazel eyes. His voice had both a mixture of softness and baritone at the same time which made her body tingle.

"Yes my Prince."She moved to the side and he walked into Ellie's room.

"Hello Princess."He greeted and the servants greeted him too. Ellie tried to turn to look at him but she was cut short.

"Don't bother about that my princess. We can see each other perfectly through the mirror."He smiled; making the dimples in his cheeks appear. He was really handsome and Ellie couldn't stop staring.

He stood a few inches from Alina,bringing out his palm as a way of requesting the comb from her. Alina gave him the comb without hesitating and he took it from her and began combing Ellie's hair. He would graze the sides of her neck with her finger tips while trying to gather her hair in one place which Aria noticed and felt offended and jealous about.

Aria paused from massaging Ellie's toes unknowingly. She couldn't believe that Ramiel was actually combing Ellie's hair and doing those tiny sexy things he was doing to Ellie in her presence. She became slightly offended and jealous. Ellie didn't notice the look on her face but did notice that she stopped massaging her feet.

"Why did you stop?" Ellie asked - referring to Aria.

"I'm sorry my princess." She apologized as she continued with what she was doing but was shortly cut off by Ramiel.

"There is no need to continue all of you. I will take care of the princess myself."Ellie was astonished at his statement but remained quiet.

"My prince?" Alina wanted to confirm if she heard right.

"You heard me right. I will be taking the princess to bed." He replied blatantly leaving the servants stunned at his choice of words.
