Chapter 2

Wuri stopped her steps. Her body trembled, her heart beat twice as fast as the voice Wuri had missed so much was heard. Wuri slowly turned her body around, Wuri's tears flowed even harder when Wuri saw Eise's gaze looking directly at her. Wuri quickly approached Eise and hugged her daughter.

"Mom, I miss you so much," Eise said, crying in Wuri's arms.

"Eise, look at me!" Wuri ordered as she released their embrace. Wuri wanted to make sure that her daughter had really returned to health as before.

Eise's gaze fixed on Wuri, Eise raised both hands to wipe Wuri's tears. "It's me, Mom. All the evil witch's curse is gone," Eise said, making Wuri who heard that hug her again.

"How could this happen?" asked Wuri. She was still hugging Eise.

Andrea who was still there stiffened when she heard Wuri's question. Andrea thought about leaving, but Eise quickly let go of Wuri's embrace, then held Andrea's wrist.

"It's all thanks to Andrea. It's all because of her," Eise answered, making Wuri look directly at Andrea.

"Is that true?"  Wuri asked, looking at Andrea who was silent. She was confused, she didn't know how to answer that.

"Andrea. You're a …" Wuri didn't finish what she said when she realized that it would be dangerous for Andrea if someone heard about it.

"She's a helper goddess for me, Mom. I'm very grateful to have met Andrea," Eise said. After several years, she was finally being able to stand again, and that made Wuri feel very happy to see it.

Eise approached Andrea, then hugged Andrea tightly. "Thank you very much Andrea, we will keep your secret. Don't worry," Eise whispered to Andrea.

Andrea, who had been silent all this while, now could breathe a sigh of relief hearing Eise's words.  Andrea returned Eise's hug as she said, "Thank you, Eise. Nice to meet you too. I apologize on their behalf."

Wuri, who saw that, stood up and hugged Andrea too, thanking Andrea a lot. They thought of the girl as a helper goddess.

Moments later, their embrace broke apart. Andrea looked seriously at Eise and Wuri. "Can I ask something in return for what I have done?" she said.

"Tell me what it is. If I can give you what you're asking for, I will definitely give it." Wuri without hesitation answered.

Andrea who heard that smiled again, Andrea was happy to meet them and to be able to help Eise. "My request will not be difficult. I just want to erase a little of your memory about the current incident. Just a little," said Andrea, making Wuri and Eise silent.

"You're a good person. We love knowing someone like you, so why do you want me and mom to forget about you?" Eise asked.

"We will definitely meet again, but not with the facts about who I really am. That's not good for me. I hope you guys can understand," Andrea answered.

Wuri who heard that clearly understood. Wuri took off the necklace around her neck and gave it to Andrea.

"Take this, if one day we meet again, even though I won't remember you, this necklace will let me know if you are someone important to us," Wuri said, making Andrea feel very moved to hear it.

"Thank you, I'm glad to meet you. And I hope we'll meet again later," Andrea replied before erasing Wuri and Eise's memory, then hurriedly left there.

With a happy heart, Andrea returned to exploring every village she passed in Tabarena Land. For the first time, Andrea felt grateful for the power she had, because today Andrea could indirectly prove that not all Rui people were bad.

"I hope you live a happy life," she said, remembering the happy smiles on Eise and Wuri's faces.

Andrea stopped her steps when she looked at the people who were gathered to witness a street singer with a melodious voice. Andrea, who saw and heard that, slowly approached and enjoyed the melodious voice of a teenage girl singing accompanied by a man's guitar next to her.

Moments later, everyone applauded as the two buskers finished their song. The teenage girl who had been singing started to walk around approaching the people who were there one by one, receiving the money given by them until the girl arrived in front of Andrea who could only give a smile because Andrea had no money to give.

Everyone started to disperse, so did Andrea.  Andrea continued her journey to enjoy the beauty of Tabarena Land.

"Hey!" Someone's scream was heard and managed to stop Andrea. Andrea turned her head to look at the source of the sound and looked confused at the two buskers who were following her.

"Hi, looks like you're not from here." The teenage girl who had been singing earlier spoke to Andrea.

"This is my first time here," Andrea replied, smiling.

"I'm Neume and this is my brother Dire. What's your name? Where are you from?" asked the girl again after introducing herself.

Andrea was silent at the question of the girl named Neume. Andrea didn't know what to answer, and Andrea was afraid that if she said she was from the Rui the two people in front of her would scream that she was a witch.

"Hey, what's your name!" Deri said, repeating Neume's question.

"I'm Andrea. I like your singing, it sounds so good," Andrea replied, hoping that Neume and Deri would no longer ask where she was from, but everything was not as Andrea expected when Neume, who was curious about Andrea's origins, asked again.

"Sorry, I have to go," Andrea said, hurrying away without waiting for a response from Neume and Deri, who could only stare at her in confusion.

Andrea ran out of the village and was back into the forest. Even though she realized that it was impossible for Neume and Deri to catch up with her, Andrea still ran while occasionally looking behind her until Andrea accidentally collided with someone who was also running after his prey.

Andrea would have fallen if a pair of strong arms had not held her waist. Andrea's gaze met the gaze of a man who collided with her and was holding Andrea's waist.

That face looked very handsome. Sharp nose, firm jawline, beautiful eyes added to the perfection of the handsome face of the man in front of Andrea.

"Sir, are you all right?" Someone's voice managed to wake Andrea who quickly released the man's hands from her waist and kept her distance from the man.

"I'm fine," replied the man without taking his eyes off Andrea, the beautiful girl who managed to make him stare admiringly at.

"Sorry, I didn't do it on purpose," Andrea said nervously then ran away from there, ignoring the call from the man who was screaming for her.

"Who is that girl?" asked the man.

"Sorry, Mr. Hector. I don't know. It seems that the girl is not from the land of Tabarena," replied the man who received a question from Hector.

"Find out about the girl!" Hector ordered firmly.
