Chapter 12

She winced in pain while biting her lips to avoid her from screaming her lungs out as the snake's grip got even more tighter.

When she closed her eyes accepting her nearby death encounter, she felt sudden quick movements she opened her eyes and saw the snake on the floor with its head neatly separated from it's body.

Julia who had come right in time as her knight in shining armor picked up the dead python and curled it round her neck

Jucin remained silent on the floor as she tried to process what just happened, she didn't even know where Julia had come from or was she being followed the whole time? all these thoughts kept weighing on her mind.

"Do you need an invitation to say thank you?" she heard Julia ask

" Thank you, were you following me and how could you fight off that python like that"? Jucin asked her

" Just thank your lucky stars I was around"

Julia helped her up from where she was sitting on the floor and both girls made their way out of the maze.

" Why do you have that beast on your neck?" Jucin asked as she was still wary of it

"Well I always loved the meat from snakes but daddy is such a worrywart that he wouldn't risk his workers to get it for me, that's why I used you as bait," she pressed her lips in a thin line in displeasure, regretting how she blurted the last part

" What?!" Jucin yelled in fury " That was why you were there cause you were using me as bait for your stupid meat!" there was anger in her tone and a bit of disappointment as she thought for once her sister was truly there for her unknowingly she was being used all along.

" Don't get mad, it's not as if you got bitten or something" Julia rolled her eyes

Jucin pressed her temples in frustration, when they finally got out of the maze , she ran straight to her room without waiting for Julia. On he way through the halls she couldn't help the tears that flowed from her eyes, she remembered clearly the relief with a pang if fear she had felt when she saw Julia there in time not knowing she had

orchestrated the whole plan, she had always wondered when both of them would get along like normal sisters would but she was wrong.

She entered her room and with one swift move she found herself being pinned on the door, she found herself again getting lost in those sea blue eyes.

She saw the lines that started appearing on his forehead, she wondered why he was frowning then she felt his hands caressing her cheek warmly, she never wanted him to see her crieing

" Who hurt you?" his deep voice echoed in her ear

This dangerous side of Luchan really gave her goosebumps so she just buried her face in his rock hard chest and sobbed even more.
